LORI SME (Small and Medium Enterprise), operating as a producer of fashion accessories characterized by local craftsmanship, encounters challenges in accommodating diverse customer preferences due to resource constraints. To unleash its full potential, there exists a pressing need to adopt innovative design methodologies. This research endeavors to investigate the application of a modular design approach as a strategic solution for augmenting the variety of LORI SME accessories, thereby facilitating the creation of a range of jewelry products that can be easily tailored and adapted to meet individual customer requirements. The study utilizes a qualitative research methodology, encompassing literature reviews, interviews with the owner, exploration of visual motifs and materials, and practice-based research. The findings of this research illuminate that the adoption of a modular design approach significantly enhances the diversity of LORI SME's jewelry offerings, particularly in the case of its necklace products. This modular approach provides SMEs with a broader array of customizable necklace options characterized by distinctive local motifs and high craftsmanship value. These findings furnish valuable insights for SMEs within the LORI SME sector aiming to expand their product portfolios. Additionally, they offer guidance to designers and artisans regarding the potential advantages and challenges associated with the incorporation of modular design strategies in the broader context of small business innovation and product development.

Layout variation is an essential concept in design and allows designers to create a sense of depth and complexity in their work. However, manually creating layout variations can be time-consuming and limit a designer's creativity. The use of generative art as a tool for creating visual poster designs that emphasize layout variety is explored in this study. Deep learning through generative art offers a solution by using an algorithm to generate layout variations automatically. This paper uses the VQGAN and CLIP approach to describe a generative art system, which renders images via a text prompt and produces a series of variations based on the zoom parameter 0.95 and shifts the y-axis 5 pixels. Our experiment shows that one frame can be generated roughly in 10.108±0.226 seconds, significantly faster than the conventional method for creating layouts on poster design. The model achieved a good quality image, scoring 4.248 using an inception score evaluation. The layout variations can be used as a basis for poster design visuals, allowing designers to explore different visual representations of layouts. This paper demonstrates the potential of generative art to explore layout variation in visual design, offering designers a new approach to creating dynamic and engaging visual designs.

This research intends to study, analyze, and explain comprehensively but in a more practical format regarding the interpretation and working of kendang on the structure lampah tiga. Gendhing with the lampah tiga structure is one of the special gendhing structures because it has a bar where not many gendhing repertoires have this bar, so, of course, there are many problems for the composer, especially the ricikan kendang to present this gendhing structure, knowledge is needed to determine the interpretation and garap variant so that it can identify and present gendhing with structure. The method used is a descriptive analysis based on empirical knowledge and also Rahayu Supanggah's work on the approach. Empirical knowledge will help in analyzing the variety and interpretation of the lampah tiga structure, while the garap approach is used as a tool to dissect the musical situation in the intended gendhing structure. The qualitative descriptive data analysis method is carried out by observing the validity of the data through data triangulation. Accurate data collection through library research, interviews, and observations is expected to be able to explore the work on kendangan gendhing lampah tiga. It is hoped that this research can encourage the emergence of new patterns resulting from the interpretation of the workings of the kendang in the lampah tiga structure, and that the findings can be applied to other forms of gendhing that also utilize the kendhang setunggal

The article looks at the challenges and opportunities of collecting and disseminating performance art from an art library’s perspective. Based on the collecting experience of the Mediathek at the Academy of Art and Design FHNW Basel (Switzerland), the text contextualizes its own digital collections within the Swiss performance art context. What is special about Mediathek’s collection is; (1) the fact that a remarkable number of documents of performance art are accessible for free via the internet, without login, in a structured, searchable and sustainable way. Because the policy permits, upon certain conditions, the acceptance of content from individuals, groups, and institutions not associated with the university, there is; (2) a considerable amount of ‘external’ materials in the collections. The aim of the essay is to make this treasure of sources known. Therefore, digital access points to the projects and collections described in the text are mentioned in the references.

The importance of art education in instilling the principles of Pancasila that should be taught to pupils has diminished since the era of technological transformation. Learning the names of the Pancasila principles through music is a powerful tool. However, pupils lose interest in the process when learning is still presented in the traditional fashion. Student's strengths in global variety, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity can be cultivated through this music-learning process and included in their Pancasila student profiles. As a result, changes in music education are necessary for the extras. The study's overarching objective was to explain how interventions based on the world wall application might help students build a Pancasila profile to better serve their communities. The art and culture instructor and the tenth-grade pupils at MAN 2 Kediri in the city of Kediri participated in this study. This research uses observation, interviews, and written records to acquire its data. The results of this study indicate that learning the art of music at schools in trumpet practice using the wordwall.net application can stimulate the profile of Pancasila students by cultivating an open way of thinking, mutual respect, mutual care and collaboration. This research is expected to be an innovative medium for teaching music learning so that students can get to know music in various ways

Ethno pedagogy examines the interaction of pedagogical and cultural traditions as well as social and pedagogical processes and examines educational methods and solutions used by the Lematang people in Lahat District. This study aims to analyze the application of Ethno pedagogy in learning erai-erai dance. Art-based qualitative methods with an ethnopedagogical approach as a data collection strategy based on observation, interviews and document research. Several stages of the interview activities included interview planning, conducting interviews, recording interview data and activities after the interview, namely checking the validity of the data and making systematic data so that it was ready to be used as material for further analysis. Source triangulation techniques to check data accuracy and test the credibility of data from various sources, then to compare the results of interviews between informants who are directly or indirectly involved. The results of this study are the dissemination of erai-erai dance performances through a socialization process so that ethnopedagogical practices emerge in the community with various learning strategies for erai-erai dance practised by each social class with their respective roles, thus directly or indirectly creating ethnopedagogical practices. Then, a conservation strategy involving ethnopedagogical practices in erai-erai dance is implemented using social media. The discussion above shows the contribution of research, although, on the other hand, this research has many weaknesses

Malioboro is an integral part of the architectural artwork of the city of Yogyakarta, which is full of meaning, philosophy, and noble values of Javanese culture. Currently, Malioboro has developed into a tourist area and a quite existing public cultural space. However, along with the times, the philosophical meaning and noble values embedded in the architecture of the city of Yogyakarta by HB I as the founder of Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat seem to be unclear and increasingly difficult to read. The video art installation Lampah is a form of creative response to the existence of contemporary Malioboro as a public space as well as a meaningful piece of architectural art. By using interpretative-subjective approaches and artistic methods, the creator reads this phenomenon and represents it in the form of Lampah artwork. As a contemplative space, 'Lampah' also offers an alternative way to transform Javanese noble values and spirituality by using idioms and ways of speaking in Javanese culture. Models in architecture are used to complete the design of this work. It is hoped that this concept can provide new insights and discourses in art, especially new media art
