The development of technology in the 5.0 era, marked by the increase in internet usage, currently impacts people's habits in accessing financial services, such as mobile money usage. Therefore, it aligns with the government's vision to increase financial inclusion through mobile money usage to reduce poverty. However, Yogyakarta Province is a province with a poverty rate that exceeds the national average, and it is the highest in the Java region. In this regard, digital customer protection needs to be considered because mobile money usage carries a high risk to the security and privacy of user data. Therefore, this study aims to determine the role of digital customer protection in mediating mobile money usage and financial inclusion in productive age communities in Yogyakarta. This study applies the Sobel test by Baron and Kenny and the process method by Hayes. The result of this study shows that digital customer protection significantly mediates mobile money usage towards financial inclusion partially in productive age communities in Yogyakarta Province. With these results, it is expected that all parties should work together to increase mobile money usage to reduce poverty and help the government to achieve the welfare of the community.

In recent years, luxury fashion brands have experienced drastic growth. This study examines how hedonic motivation, self-image congruence, brand experience, and brand attachment are interrelated factors driving the purchase intention of industrial luxury fashion brands. Our research aims to construct a consumer behaviour model to complete the hedonic motivation process, which influences brand attachment and is influenced by demographic factors. The research model will fully predict the proposed model to examine the effect of gender, age, and income. The survey was conducted in Indonesia with a sample of 324 respondents. Multiple group analysis SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) was used to test the model across samples. The results reveal substantial consumer behaviour disparities based on respondents' gender, age, and income level. Research findings can aid the luxury brand industry, particularly the fashion industry, in comprehending demographic differences. It is crucial to develop specific marketing strategies to promote luxury brands, influencing consumers' purchase intentions.

The level of employees’ work engagement can affect an organization's resilience amid business competition. However, banking employees are often faced with rigid working hours that can affect the level of work engagement of employees. This study aims to determine the role of emotional intelligence and ethical leadership in the work engagement of banking employees. Furthermore, this study also investigates the mediating role of psychological capital because it still requires further research. The sample involved in the study was 206 employees of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia. The structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis results show that emotional intelligence, ethical leadership, and psychological capital can affect work engagement. On the other hand, psychological capital partially mediates the influence of emotional and ethical leadership on work engagement. Therefore, the result of this study can strengthen the job demands-resources theory. To increase work engagement, a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence, ethical leadership, and psychological capital can help the banking sector retain employees, improve employee and organizational performance, and maintain a competitive advantage amid intense competition between banks in Indonesia.

This study aims to formulate and answer phenomena related to the competitiveness of family business-based SMEs in the era of disruption from the perspective of knowledge hiding bevahior (KHB), which is influenced by knowledge complexity (KC), psychological ownership (PO) and moderated by avoidance motivation. This research is a survey research type with a quantitative approach. The analytical technique used is SEM-PLS with the help of analysis tools using SMART-PLS 3.0. In addition, simple slope analysis is used to see the moderating role of avoidance motivation in moderating the effect of psychological ownership on knowledge hiding. Respondents in this study were 187-line managers from 78 SMEs. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a saturated sampling method. The results showed that all hypotheses were accepted, which means that psychological ownership has a positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing, and avoidance motivation can moderate psychological ownership on knowledge sharing. This study contributes to examine the source and effect KHB, thereby providing a method for SMEs, particularly in Indonesia, to effectively reduce KHB. This study also finds AM as a moderating variable that modulates the effect of KC on KH, whereas this was rarely explored in earlier study.

Humility is a leadership model inherent in Asian culture and is believed to impact employees' productive behavior and attitudes positively. By examining how leader humility affects the workplace's civility climate and innovative work behavior (IWB), the current study seeks to address the scarcity of studies on these relationships. We also posited that the perceived civility climate mediated the relationship between leader humility and IWB and examined the role of job insecurity as a boundary condition. PLS-SEM was applied to test hypotheses from data on 328 employees in various sectors in Jakarta. The analysis results indicate humility could promote perceived civility and innovative work behavior. In addition, we discovered that civility climate acted as a mediator in leader humility and IWB relationship. Moreover, we empirically reveal unique findings regarding the role of job insecurity as a moderator in the leader-humility-IWB and civility climate-IWB relationship. The present study is the first attempt to explore the role of intermediate civility climate in the relationship between leader humility and IWB. Moreover, we add job insecurity as a boundary condition to provide new insights into explaining IWB

This paper is structured to explain the effect of the business cycle on the distribution of Islamic banking financing in Indonesia. Furthermore, this research examined the differences between account receivables financing and profit-sharing financing, as well as different forms of Islamic banking. In this case, Islamic banking financing, account receivables financing, and profit-sharing financing will have the same responses or changes in the face of the business cycle in Indonesia. This research is focused and limited to the response of Islamic banking financing to the business cycle in Indonesia. Second, this research used quarterly data from 2007 to 2020 obtained from financial data of each sharia commercial bank and sharia business unit published through the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank of Indonesia; meanwhile, the macro-level data was taken from data from the Central Agency publication Indonesian Statistics. Third, the estimation method used is the Panel VAR to accommodate the heterogeneity between firms. The results show that capital and liquidity respond positively to changes in banking financing, account receivables financing, and profit-sharing financing. The results also show that performing loans and profitability will decrease if there is a shock to the three types of financing.

This research aims to examine the impact of risk management, especially operational risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk on firm performance with corporate governance as a moderating variable. The research was conducted using secondary data from 48 companies in the Southeast Asia region which are included in the Consumer Durable and Apparel, Consumer Service, and Consumer Staples industry categories at S&P Capital IQ during the 2017-2021 period. The sample collection technique in this study used a purposive random sampling method. The result of this study finds that operational risk and credit risk do not affect firm performance, while credit risk has a negative effect on firm performance. This study also found that corporate governance can reduce the negative effect of liquidity risk on firm performance but strengthen the relationship between operational risk and credit risk on firm performance. The result found in this study has implications and contribution for the company to develop a good corporate governance in order to maximize the risk management and also for investor to assess the company risks.
