New Constriction Particle Swarm Optimization for Security-Constrained Optimal Power Flow Solution 安全约束下的新型收缩粒子群最优潮流解

This paper presents a new version of constriction particle swarm optimization (NCPSO) with mutation mechanism for solving the security-constrained optimal power flow (OPF) with both the steady-state security constraints and the transient stability constraints. The objective of SCOPF in considering the valve-point loading effect of the unit and the operating limits of FACTS devices is defined not only to minimize total generation cost but also to enhance transmission security, reduce transmission loss, and improve the bus voltage profile under normal or post-contingent states. The proposed NCPSO method involves a new cognitive behavior of particle. The particle can remember its previously visited best and worst positions, thus it can explore effectively the search space. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated for the IEEE 30-bus and 57-bus systems.
针对既有稳态安全约束又有暂态稳定约束的安全约束最优潮流问题,提出了一种具有突变机制的新型收缩粒子群优化算法。SCOPF在考虑机组的阀点负荷效应和FACTS设备的运行限制时,其目标不仅是为了使发电总成本最小化,而且还要提高输电安全性,降低输电损耗,改善正常或事后状态下的母线电压分布。提出的NCPSO方法涉及到一种新的粒子认知行为。该粒子能够记住其先前访问过的最佳和最差位置,从而能够有效地探索搜索空间。在IEEE 30总线和57总线系统中验证了该方法的有效性。

Electric Power Systems Contingencies Analysis by Paraconsistent Logic Application 电力系统事故分析的副一致逻辑应用

In this paper we present paraconsistent logic application at electric power system contingency analysis with risks identification. Para-consistent Logic is a non-classic logic whose foundations allow for the treatment of contradictions without invalidating the conclusions through algorithms named PANs - para-consistent analysis nodes. In the equations of the PANs are calculated signals representing restrictions, risks and configurations of electric power systems networks. The "pre- Fault state" represented by the resulting evidence degree from PAN is evaluated together with the "post-fault" information in a contingency evaluation. In that way the occurrence type and their parameters are classified by PANet with the purpose of offering an optimized re-establishment sequence to the power system. This method is being validated through off-line tests applied at the Eletropaulo-Eletricidade de Sao Paulo, an electric power distribution utility company of Sao Paulo state, Brazil, which has a distribution network and a model substation of medium range.

Zone Clustering LMP with Location information using an Improved Fuzzy C-Mean 基于改进模糊c均值的区域聚类LMP

For the efficient zone clustering of Large-scale power system, this paper introduces an improved fuzzy C-means (FCM) approach. Due to physical characteristics of Power System, each node of the power system has their own locational marginal price (LMP) indicating the network-related characteristics of the system. In electricity market, it has been on the rise across much of a deregulation market to price market clearing prices considering LMP. It is inefficient to price on each node individually. Hence classification for the whole system into distinct several subsystems based on a dissimilarity measure is typically needed for the efficient operation of the whole system. Moreover, the location information on the system is taken into account in order to properly address the geometric mis-clustering problem such as grouping geometrically distant nodes with dissimilarity measures into a common cluster. Therefore, this paper proposes the improved FCM approach for clustering LMP with location information. We have conducted the clustering in real Korea power system to verify the usefulness of the proposed improved FCM approach.

Application of Neural Network to One-Day-Ahead 24 hours Generating Power Forecasting for Photovoltaic System 神经网络在光伏发电系统一天前24小时发电量预测中的应用

In recent years, introduction of an alternative energy source such as solar energy is expected. However, insolation is not constant and output of photovoltaic (PV) system is influenced by meteorological conditions. In order to predict the power output for PV system as accurate as possible, it requires method of insolation estimation. In this paper, the authors take the insolation of each month into consideration, and confirm the validity of using neural network to predict one-day-ahead 24 hours insolation by computer simulations. The proposed method in this paper does not require complicated calculation and mathematical model with only meteorological data.

Fair Allocation of Distribution Losses based on Neural Networks 基于神经网络的配电损失公平分配

In a competitive energy market environment, the procedure for fair loss allocation constitutes a matter of considerable importance. This task is often based on rough principles, given the difficulties on the practical implementation of a fairest process. This paper proposes a methodology based on neural networks for the distribution of power distribution losses among the loads. The process is based on the knowledge of load profiles and on the usual consumption measures. Simulations are carried out for a typical MV network, with an extensive variety of load scenarios. For each scenario, losses were calculated and distributed by the consumers. The allocation criterion is established assuming a distribution proportional to the squared power. Finally, a neural network is trained in order to obtain a fast and accurate losses allocation. Illustrative results support the feasibility of the proposed methodology.

Intelligent Agents Applied to Reconfiguration of Mesh Structured Power Systems 智能代理在网格结构电力系统重构中的应用

In this paper, the authors propose a multiagent system based reconfiguration methodology for mesh structured power systems. One of the important features of this multiagent architecture is that the intelligent agents in the multiagent system work in a completely decentralized manner. There is no central controller in the system. In this multiagent system, an agent can send/receive signals to/from a major electric component in the power system. Each agent only communicates with its immediate neighboring agents. A simulation platform is also introduced for validating the proposed reconfiguration methodology. In the simulation platform, the intelligent agents are implemented using Java agent development framework. The power system is implemented in a real time digital simulator. The simulation results show the proposed reconfiguration methodology is effective and promising.

Optimal Placement of Phasor Measurement Units: Particle Swarm Optimization Approach 相量测量单元的最佳放置:粒子群优化方法

This paper is concerned about the optimal placement of phasor measurement units (PMUs) so as to make a system completely observable. Observability assessment is done by the aid of the topological observability rules. Moreover a new rule is added which can decrease the number of required PMUs for complete system observability. A modified binary particle swarm is used as an optimization tool for obtaining the minimal number of PMUs and corresponding configuration. In order to improve the speed of convergence, an initial PMU placement is provided by graph-theoretic procedure. The simulation results of proposed approach are presented for several IEEE test systems. Index Terms-Observability analysis, optimal placement, particle swarm optimization, phasor measurement unit.

Study on Fault Location for High Voltage Overhead Transmission Lines Based on Neural Network System 基于神经网络系统的高压架空输电线路故障定位研究

A distributed & hierarchical NN (DHNN) system based on the integrated module architecture and hierarchy architecture is proposed in this paper. The DHNN system adequately uses the powerful function of artificial neural networks at aspects of pattern identification, nonlinear-approaching, associative memory et al. Its information processing mechanism coincides with the processing law of classification-sketchiness-accuracy in human biologic NN system. This system not only can deal with the advanced information required by fault location for HV overhead transmission lines but accurately locate the fault sites. Thus this method for fault location presented in this paper can thoroughly eliminate the disadvantages in other extant fault location methods, such as convergence to the false root or divergence in the procedure of iteration, which result in the great location error in practice. This paper pioneers a new direction to the study and application on fault location. Results from theoretical analyses and simulations by EMTP show that fault location precision of this method can completely satisfy practical requirements.

The DHNN system adequately uses the powerful function of artificial neural networks at aspects of pattern identification, nonlinear-approaching, associative memory et al. Its information processing mechanism coincides with the processing law of classification-sketchiness-accuracy in human biologic NN system. This system not only can deal with the advanced information required by fault location for HV overhead transmission lines but accurately locate the fault sites. Thus this method for fault location presented in this paper can thoroughly eliminate the disadvantages in other extant fault location methods, such as convergence to the false root or divergence in the procedure of iteration, which result in the great location error in practice. This paper pioneers a new direction to the study and application on fault location. Impact Analysis of Transmission Capacity Constraints on Wind Power Penetration and Production Cost in Generation Dispatch 发电调度中输电容量约束对风电渗透和生产成本的影响分析

Wind power penetration in Taiwan power system faces significant barriers due to limited transmission capability. One of the most important future challenges seems to be the management of the integration of fluctuations in the electricity production from wind energy sources. In this paper, a penalty function-direct search method (PF-DSM) is developed to further modify the direct search method (DSM) to improve computation efficiency. The PF-DSM algorithm is used to facilitate economic sharing of generation and reserve across areas, and minimize the total generation cost in the multi-area wind-thermal coordination dispatch problem. Several technique constraints are applied to determine the optimal proportion of wind generator capacity that can be integrated into the multi-area isolated system. Numerical experiments are included to understand the effects of wind generator capacity in production cost analysis and to illustrate the impacts of transmission capacity limits on wind power penetration level in each area.

Optimal Phase Arrangement of Distribution Feeders Using Immune Algorithm 基于免疫算法的配电馈线相位优化配置

In this paper, the immune algorithm (IA) is proposed to derive the rephasing strategy arrangement of laterals and distribution transformers to enhance three phase balancing of distribution systems. The multi-objective function is formulated by considering the unbalance of phasing currents, the customer service interruption cost and labor cost to perform the optimal rephasing strategy. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology to enhance three-phase balancing of distribution systems, a practical distribution feeder in Taipower with 523 customers is selected for computer simulation. By minimizing the objective function subjected to the operation constraints, the rephasing strategy has been derived by selecting the laterals and distribution transformers for phasing adjustment. The phase currents and neutral currents of test feeder before and after the execution of proposed rephasing strategy have been measured and collected by the SCADA system in Taipower. It is found that the neutral current of test feeder has been reduced to be less than the over neutral current limit by executing the rephasing of laterals and distribution transformers.
