In the disposal of urban and rural garbage, diaper waste has emerged as a new phenomenon. If this kind of waste is put into a river, it will harm the water environment because the earth cannot quickly break down it. This study aims to clarify the efficacy of counseling communication in raising public knowledge of postal waste management (disposable diapers). Bibliometric analysis is used in this quantitative descriptive study. The objective is to get fresh data on the investigation of extension communication to raise public knowledge of the disposal of pospak waste. Google Scholar and Crossref, two publisher sources, were used to gather the data. Through Publish or Perish, you can access articles from both sources. After gathering the data, VOS viewer is used to analyzing it. The results of the study indicate that counseling information is still an exciting topic in increasing public awareness. The importance of communication in handling waste is included in cluster 5. While public awareness in handling waste is included in cluster 3. The study of "Waste Management" is a point of attention of researchers which can be found in 8 clusters on research topics.

Convergence occurs due to the storage of various knowledge sources in digital form. Unfortunately, in Indonesia, convergence has not yet become an option in providing knowledge services to the broader community on a massive scale. Although practitioners of documentary institutions have discussed this term frequently, they have not discussed how to carry out inter-institutional convergence. Convergence between documentary institutions is a common solution to improve accessibility, which is one way to increase the role of documentary institutions in the utilization and preservation of the nation's collective memory. In the digital era, convergence must be interpreted broadly, not just as a physical union but more on the unification of function, substance, and communication. Communication problems are indeed the main problem hindering GLAMS convergence in Indonesia. This paper describes the convergence of documentary institutions from a communication perspective and motivates to build a more open communication pattern between documentary institutions. This study examined how librarians at university libraries in Bali used e-DDC. This objective of the study was to ascertain how often e-DDC is used among university libraries and what factors affect that utilization. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. All members of the library staff or librarians who had utilized e-DDC at university libraries in Bali made up the population and samples used in this study. Total sampling was the chosen sample method. The data were obtained through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The findings of this study demonstrated that the library personnel preferred using printed DDC over electronic ones. As a result, they do not profit fully from using e-DDC. This was due to the fact that the information in printed DDC is more comprehensive than that in electronic form, making e-DDC utilization less than ideal. External factors like user training, accessibility, term clarity, and convenience of use affected how e-DDC was used. The DDC system must be re-maximized (upgraded) as a result, and the librarian or other library personnel must also be more receptive and adaptable to the current system in the library. The main purpose of using e-DDC is to make it simpler for users to find the needed classification numbers and to improve the processing section's unit.

The field of information is undergoing a very rapid transformation with the use of information technology in every community activity. The use of information technology that is increasingly friendly in the community has facilitated work management to be more effective and efficient so as to accelerate performance. However, the diverse geographical conditions of society have led to a digital divide in technology accessibility in Indonesian society, while the rapid development of technology demands equal distribution of capabilities and mastery of technology throughout the wider community. As an institution that is an information center, the role of libraries is very important in encouraging people to use information technology through digital inclusion. Libraries can carry out the role of digital inclusion through the provision of technology tools, freedom of access by the community. This study examines the role of libraries in digital inclusion with students as part of a community group. The research was carried out with a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires, to determine student responses regarding the availability of information technology devices provided by the library, their accessibility and ability to utilize these facilities. The results of this study found that the information technology facilities provided by the library and the ease of access have helped students to get information sources easily and quickly. The provision of adequate information technology facilities and easy access to libraries has played a role in helping students to become more familiar with digital devices, so that they can adapt quickly to any existing technological developments.

This study aims to identify and analyze the availability of a collection of compulsory subject teaching materials in the Library Science study program at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This quantitative research uses the checklist method. The research data was obtained from the RPKS/Syllabus reading list for compulsory subjects and interviews. The results of this study include an explanation of the collection based on the type of subject of the collection, the language of the collection, and the percentage of the availability of the collection to the needs of Lecturers at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities UIN Imam Bonjol. The results of this study indicate that the types of collections used in the 2018/2021 Academic Year are 75% of English Language Textbooks and Special Guidelines related to Library Science, especially in Processing Collections both Internationally and from the National Library. Data analysis shows that the number of reading lists of 20 compulsory subjects in the study program is 172 titles, with an average of 1-2 copies originating from purchases and gifts if more than 10 copies. Document data analysis resulted in the number of available reading lists in 20 courses, with the number of available collections being 37.2% and not available as much as 62.7%.

In 2020, the Simultaneous General Elections were held in many parts of Indonesia even during the Covid-19 outbreak. However, election offenses still occurred and even resulted in a new offense, which was the health protocols offense. The election offense records can be used as an indicator of democracy quality, besides its other roles. This paper will describe the role of archives related to election offenses. The study found that during the simultaneous election, the majority of offenses that occurred were administrative, code of ethics, criminal, and health protocols. The election offenses documents, in the archive context, become an important archive that is part of the election archive and can be grouped into types of election offenses archives, namely: health protocol offense archives, administrative offense archives, code of ethics offense archives, and criminal offenses archives. College sports have a significant impact on sport development. This study aims to provide a comprehensive elaboration by describing the publication's descriptive parameters, visualizing the citation pattern, extracting the author's keywords, and determining the impact and performance of research on college sports. This study includes an orientation for researchers to better understand advances in collegiate sports-related scientific publications. A thorough examination of the 947 documents found in the Scopus database was conducted from 1869 to 2022. According to the findings, the number of publications fluctuated, with 2021 having the highest number of publications. Among the 49 other countries, scholars from China accounted for approximately 325 of total global publications. Furthermore, with a total of 55 documents, the Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise is one of the most productive scientific sources. Overall, this topic's research is evolving, with new methods and directions being established. As a result, an in-depth examination of collegiate sports in a variety of research areas can help researchers and practitioners advance prospective knowledge in these fields.

This case study is aimed at exploring the development and role of Bayan traditional library as the source of information, education, and cultural preservation. The data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study engaged traditional leaders, library managers, and Pokdarwis (tourism awareness group) as the informants. The study showed that Bayan traditional library was present among indigenous peoples due to the modernization which shifted the younger generation's paradigm to continue preserving culture. The library functions are as a forum to foster public interest in reading, a vehicle for Bayan traditional museum, and facilities for Bayan community to meet the book needs related to formal and informal education. It also provided numerous references for researchers to conduct research, learning facilities for local wisdom, and the arts of the native community. The library services are of course still conventional, as it can be seen from the concept of open library space, and circulation services are not organized technologically. Moreover, the role of the library in preserving culture is carried out by documenting various cultural activities, which are then translated into writings or works to increase the spirit of the younger generation to maintain cultural existence.

OPAC libraries basically have provided complete metadata with various data fields that can be used to contain more detailed collection information. This paper will analyze the potential for additional data collections, especially collection abstractions from the point of view of information needs and information dissemination. The study used a literature review analysis by referring to several sources of information such as scientific articles from electronic journals or other online sources as well as books relevant to this study. The data was obtained by observing the OPAC of online-based libraries from several educational institutions. The results of the study showed that the metadata pattern built by the library is still limited to a brief description of the collection so that the benefits of the information are not necessarily obtained by the user. The addition of abstract data to the OPAC, from the point of view of information dissemination is very necessary because the users need more detailed information. Libraries can add abstract data by choosing one of the methods in the summary process, namely abstraction and extraction.

The COVID-19 pandemic has made researchers from various fields make fundamental contributions according to their expertise. One of which is in the education field. The field has created research results and published them in reputable journals to increase the readability for the community. The published researches provide an overview of the challenges of teaching and learning activities during the pandemic and the solutions offered. This study presents the analysis results using the Bibliometrix R-Package on 950 data sourced from the Scopus database during the years 1990-2022.
