Power Modules As Key Component Group For Power Electronics 电源模块是电力电子的关键组件组

In this paper, the state-of-the-art key technologies related to the advancement of IGBT modules and IPMs as key components for a sustaining growth of power conversion technologies and equipment have been reviewed in the beginning part. In the later part, an analysis of the changing requirements from various application fields and projections of future growth for power modules required to comply with such needs will be made, including description about newer chip and packaging technologies. The paper will also highlight on the status and the possibilities of silicon carbide based power semiconductors for future power conversion applications.

System Variation of Electrical GEN-SET with Energy Buffer 带能量缓冲器的发电机组系统变化

The new generation of electrical generator sets (EGS) is based on the variable speed generation concept. The diesel engine changes the speed according to the load of the set. The optimum speed is hereby calculated according to the load of the EGS with as the optimality criterion the minimum fuel consumption. The analysis of the dynamic behavior of such new EGS concept shows some new problems with power and voltage drops at sudden increase of the load. The dynamical properties of EGS concept with variable speed technology could be improved by using an energy buffer. Solutions of concept EGS with the energy buffer and their advantage or disadvantage are discussed in this paper.

A Novel Multi-Phase Buck Converter for Lap-top PC 一种新型笔记本电脑多相降压变换器

We propose a novel multi-phase buck converter with a simple gate drive circuit, which is suitable for mobile microprocessors of lap-top computers. In case of the three-phase construction, the duty-cycle of this converter is extended to three times of that of the typical buck converter because the voltage conversion ratio is given as V0/Vi = D/3. The switching loss and switching stress are reduced sufficiently because the switching operation is achieved by one-third of the input source voltage (Vi/3). The current ripple of the output smoothing capacitor is the same as that of conventional five-phase buck converter. The current unbalance between the respective phases is removed automatically and completely without any current sensing means. The above fine characteristics are simply achieved with two additional capacitors.

AC Power Transmission Even when One Phase is Lost 交流失相输电

This paper presents the development of a voltage conditioner, which main function is to supply the voltage of an isolated load within specified quality parameters, even during momentary or continuous loss of one of any system phase. In order to do this, the conditioner is able to transfer power between its phases through a common dc link. Besides load voltage conditioning, the studied system has a power conditioner at the source side that makes source current conditioning. The function of this source-side current conditioner is to provide a balanced three-phase current to the source. Power circuit configuration and control strategy are presented. Computational simulations in the time domain of various situations associated to a typical operation of an electrical system were performed and are presented. Large motor starting with meaningful voltage drop is considered in the study. This study was intended for developing alternative concept on electric power supply for future offshore oil production systems.

Single-phase Buck-boost PFC Converter for V-connected Three-phase Inverter 用于v接三相逆变器的单相降压-升压PFC变换器

The buck-boost power factor corrected (PFC) converter has wide range of the DC output voltage. In this paper, the application for the V-connected inverter to reduce the cost of the inverter is proposed. First the balance of series connected smoothing capacitor voltage is discussed. Next, double converter configuration to reduce the input current ripple is discussed. Finally, a soft-switching method of the buck-boost PFC converters when the system operates in the discontinuous current mode (DCM) is proposed.

Most wire communication systems utilize communication lines as power lines. The powered terminal needs to separate ac communication signals and dc supply power in its input part connected to the communication lines. In our communication system, it is preferable that the electronic choke be bidirectional. So, we have already proposed a low-loss electronic choke with small inductors and an amplifier. This circuit can be also used in the powering terminal. The electronic choke has high input impedance against communication signals. The frequency range of acceptable signals is determined mainly by resonance frequency of the inductors. In this paper, a method fitting this frequency range to the communication signal is proposed. To realize this, we introduce an inductor having new structure and external connection. By the effective use of electric coupling and magnetic coupling in windings, input impedance of the electronic choke is increased.

A New Quadratic, Three-Level, DC/DC Converter Suitable for Fuel Cell Applications 适用于燃料电池的新型二次、三电平DC/DC变换器

This paper presents a new non-insulated quadratic three-level DC-DC boost converter. The quadratic feature is interesting for application where a wide voltage range is necessary. Since it is a current-source converter, its application in a fuel cell energy conversion system is interesting. Theoretical analysis for CCM of operation and experimental results are presented. A comparison between the two cascaded boost converter, the single switch quadratic boost converter and the proposed converter is made regarding commutated power. The efficiency of the proposed converter is higher than the others.

Operation Analysis of a Novel High Frequency-Link Asymmetrical Half-Bridge ZCS-PWM DC-DC Converter 一种新型高频链路非对称半桥ZCS-PWM DC-DC变换器的工作分析

A novel zero current soft-swithlng PWM half-bridge DC-DC converter topology is proposed in this paper. The newly proposed converter consists of a PWM-controlled half-bridge inverter and a current doubler rectifier linked with a high-frequency transformer. In order to attain the wide range of soft switching operation in the high voltage/low current primary side inverter, asymmetrical lossless snubbers composed by an actively-switched capacitor and lossless inductors are employed in the half-bridge arm, providing Zero Current Switching (ZCS) that is less sensitive to the magnitude of the input current. The operation characteristics of the proposed DC-DC converter are described, and its feasibility is demonstrated with simulation and preliminary experimental results.

An Adaptive FNN Control for Torque-Ripple Reduction of SR Motor Drive SR电机驱动转矩脉动抑制的自适应FNN控制

The purpose of this paper is to implement a novel approach to learning control for torque-ripple reduction of switched reluctance motor (SRM) using an adaptive fuzzy neural network (AFNN) control. First, the dynamic models of a SRM drive system are builted though SRM experimental tests and parameters measurements. Then, in order to reduce torque ripple, an AFNN speed control system that combined FNN and compensated control with adaptive law is developed to control SRM drive system. The AFNN control system produces smooth torque up to the motor base speed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated by experimental results.

First, the dynamic models of a SRM drive system are builted though SRM experimental tests and parameters measurements. Then, in order to reduce torque ripple, an AFNN speed control system that combined FNN and compensated control with adaptive law is developed to control SRM drive system. The AFNN control system produces smooth torque up to the motor base speed. Current Compensation Signal in Suppression Control for frame vibration of PMSM by Sensorless Control 无传感器控制在PMSM机架振动抑制控制中的电流补偿信号

It is well known that the frame vibration of the PMSM occurs. The authors have suggested a suppression frame vibration method using Fourier transform and repetitive control. The method requires an acceleration sensor and a position sensor. However, the use of such a sensor is not desired from a cost point of view. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a frame vibration suppression method with no sensor. The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated thorough some experiments.
