Allah menurunkan kitab suci Al qur’an dan sampai saat ini masih terjaga kemurniannya. Tentu banyak kaum kafir untuk merusak kemurnian Al Qur’an tersebut. Namun dalam hal ini sekalipun mereka gotong royong mengajak semua manusia, laki-perempuan, kafir atau mukmin, yang memiliki keraguan pada al-Qur’an, mereka dapat dipastikan tidak akan bisa mendatangkan dan meniru al-Qur’an. Dalam hal ini penulis tertarik untuk mengkaji apa saja jaminan kemurnian Al qur’an di berbagai surah menurut persepektif Abu hayyan al- Andalusi dalam kitab Al-Bahr al-Muhith. Kajian ini menggunakan kajian Tafsir tematik. Setelah dilakukan kajian, penulis menemukan hal hal terkait macam-macam tantangan yang diberikan al-Qur’an ada empat tingkatan. Ini juga dikatakan sebagai tinggkatan mukjizad al-Qur’an. Itu pula merupakan jaminan atas kemurnia al-Qur’an. Kata kunci: Kemurnian Al Qur’an

This study presents a discussion of the influence of the Nasakh and Mansukh methods on the position of the Qur'an as mashadir al-Ahkam. Although there are differences of opinion among the scholars regarding the method of nasakh and mansukh in solving the problem of the two verses that seem to contradict. However, this method does not affect the position of the Al-Qur'an as mashadir al-Ahkam, but rather gives privileges to the position of the Al-Qur'an and provides its own features and challenges for the commentators to explore more deeply and broadly the legal provisions contained therein. Thus, of course it is obligatory for Muslims to stick to the Al-Qur'an as mashadir al-Ahkam in establishing a law. Keywords: Mashadir Al-Ahkam, Al-Qur'an and Nasakh Mansukh

H{adi>th is the main source of teachings after the Qur'an which comes from the Prophet, and everything that is conveyed by the Prophet is a revelation. However, in the h{adi>th sometimes there are still conflicts, disputes, or differences with other traditions or other syar'i arguments, which are called H{adi>th mukhtalif. Therefore, here we conduct a study of H{adi>th mukhtalif which is about the study of h{adi>th that seem contradictory, then compromise between the two or favor one of the two. This study is a very important requirement for every pious and faqih, in order to be able to know the importance of such h{adi>th. This can also inspire us indirectly, how we behave when we encounter traditions that contradict or differ from the existing arguments. Therefore, this article was written to discuss the methodology for resolving conflicting hadith among scholars of Fiqh which can help us to be able to behave and understand the hadiths that are dhohir contradict each other by using the right method.Keywords: H{adi>th mukhtalif, Conflicting Hadith, Scholars of Fiqh.

This paper seeks to understand the significance of the story of Moses and Khidr PBUH to develop character-building, whose actions seemed to contradict the teachings of Sharia. As one of the most prominent accounts in Islamic tradition, the long journey of Moses for receiving knowledge meets an end by encountering Khidr, an acquaintance with unique personalities who later becomes his mentor. As literary research on the Quranic tales, the discussion adopts inductive-analytical methods to describe the semantic and rhetorical aspects contained from Moses and Khidr’s relationship. Those aspects are further analyzed to instill noble virtues thoroughly. By contemplating Khidr’s confrontation toward Moses, the acts contain good reasons despite their figurative meanings may be misinterpreted as a call for evil deeds against weaklings. The results commemorate the significance of contemplation and patience and reemphasize that none shall rushing adjudicate the occurring issues because there may be wisdom in something incomprehensible. Learning from the story of Moses and Khidr, this article argues that decision-makers should incorporate with the people, and whoever takes distance from its people is incapable of solving problems.

This article examines the role of Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat Tanjung Jabung Barat—Islamic Jambi's (Boarding School) Pesantren in promoting tolerance and deterring radicalism. When the surrounding environment is so plural with many religions other than Islam, this pesantren remains true to the principles of tolerance and is not fanatical. When the region around the pesantren drew public attention as a hotbed of radicalism and terrorism, the pesantren continued to instill kindness, anti-radicalism, and anti-terrorism. In the fight against radicalism and terrorism, this pesantren collaborates with the local government. In this article, the major question is how the pesantren strategy instills tolerance values in efforts to deradicalize or counter-terrorism acts. The research relied heavily on observation, which was supplemented by interviews with Kyai and Ustadz, students, and neighbors in the vicinity of the pesantren. The Pesantren Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat, according to this study, has the natural ability to oppose radicalism through the use of the Pesantren Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat.

The narrators have tried to convey the hadith, its accompanying physical expression, and its reading methods to the listener directly in oral communication. Thus, these learning transmission methods shifted from the oral world to textual word, henceforth it made the narrators rephrase the verbal utterances into written phrases, such as “one separates the fingers”, “his/her voice amplified” and others. The problem is, written expressions might not completely transcribe spoken language, more specifically for the transmitting narrators of the reading methods of the Quranic verses (qirā’at āyāt al-Qur’ān). This article focuses to illustrate forms of narration on the Quranic reading methods in written expressions and the complementary explanations detailed by the narrators. The results appear that some of the narrations on the variety of reading methods of the Qur’an in some Hadith literature required detailed information, such as mentioning the letters of the Arabic letters and how to read specific phrases and punctuation. These additions clarify the variety of the Quranic reading methods hence such utilitarian information is beneficial for the narrations in the mediated world.

Women’s disparities and injustices in obtaining adequate education become the background of Rahmah El-Yunusiyah to modernize women’s education. This is a library study that uses a historical approach. The data were obtained from various references through a documentation method, and the collection technique used was accumulating, analyzing, and selecting as the goal. Once the source was identified, the descriptive-analytical analysis was carried out using historical reinterpretation; therefore, all data are collected, reduced, analyzed, and concluded. Rahmah el-Yunusiyyah is an independent warrior and woman educator who has built many women education institutions dedicated to upholding women’s dignity in all aspects of life. The blend of curriculum among religion, Arabic, and general science is known as tripartite education. The teaching system is classical with a boarding system and provides three certificates.

Rural communities in West Kalimantan use the Dayak language as their daily communication language. However, they do not understand the language, this condition makes it difficult for them to understand the contents of the Qur'an which is generally translated into language. This is qualitative research, with a descriptive-analytic method. The results of this study indicate that the Vernacularization of the Qur'an in the Kanayatn Dayak language has never been done before. Therefore, based on this, the research is feasible to do. The stage is to see the vernacularization process as an initial effort of indigenization (indigenization), especially for the people of the interior of West Kalimantan. The results of this study indicate that the vernacularization of the Qur'an is carried out using the ijmali (global) interpretation method by providing footnotes for verses that require explanation. Meanwhile, the process of indigenization is to make the Qur'an easier to understand, especially for the people of the interior of West Kalimantan, so that the values of the Qur'an can be applied in the daily life of the Dayak community.Abstrak: Masyarakat pedalaman Kalimantan Barat menggunakan bahasa Dayak sebagai bahasa komunikasi sehari-hari dan minimnya pemahaman dalam bahasa Indonesia, hal tersebutlah menyulitkan mereka untuk memahami isi al-Qur`an yang pada umumnya menggunakan terjemahan bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan motede analisis-deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Vernakularisasi Al-Qurʻan dalam bahasa Dayak Kanayatn belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian layak untuk dilakukan yaitu melihat proses vernakularisasi sebagai upaya awal dari indigenisasi (pribumisasi) terutama untuk masyarakat pedalaman Kalimantan Barat. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah vernakularisasi Al-Qur'an yang mencakup seluruh isi al-Qur'an dengan menggunakan metode interpretasi ijmali (global), yaitu dengan memberikan catatan kaki untuk ayat-ayat yang membutuhkan penjelasan. Sementara proses indigenisasinya adalah menjadikan al-Qur'an lebih mudah dipahami, terutama untuk masyarakat pedalaman Kalimantan Barat, sehingga nilai-nilai al-Qur'an dapat bumisasikan.

This study examines social change or social transformation in the view of the Qur'an. This paper emphasizes the understanding that social transformation is a necessity because it is part of the sunnatullah applied in the reality of life through the pattern or process of its transformation. This paper uses the concept of alibtila' as a selection process. The argument is described based on the perspective of the verses of the Qur'an and by the interpretations of the interpreters in understanding the verses that identify the term. In addition, this study is intended to build knowledge that people can understand and be able to realize a positive-idealistic, constructive social transformation amid their lives based on the most fundamental source of Islamic teachings.Abstrak: Studi ini mengkaji tentang perubahan sosial atau transformasi sosial dalam pandangan Al-Quran. Tulisan ini menekankan pada pemahaman bahwa transformasi sosial adalah sebuah keniscayaan terjadi karena itu merupakan bagian dari sunnatullah dalam realitas kehidupan melalui pola atau proses transformasinya. Tulisan ini menggunakan konsep alibtila' sebagai proses seleksi. Argument tersebut dideskripsikan berdasarkan perspektif ayat-ayat Al-Qur‟an dan sesuai dengan interpretasi para penafsir dalam memahami ayat-ayat yang mengidentifikasi term tersebut. Selain itu, studi ini ditujukan agar masyarakat dapat memahami dan mampu mewujudkan transformasi sosial yang positif-idealistik, konstruktif di tengah-tengah kehidupan mereka berdasarkan kepada sumber ajaran Islam yang paling fundamental, yaitu ayat-ayat Al-Qur‟an Al-Karim dari karya-karya tafsir yang menjelaskannya secara lebih rinci dan luas.

This paper is a literature review of Mulla Sadra's thoughts on the concept of ilm al-ilahī to complement the western epistemological discourse which is considered to eliminate the spiritual aspect in philosophy. This paper aims to explain the meaning, purpose, and urgency of Ilm al-Ilahī to add paradigms and individual behavior in Mulla Sadra's perspective by referring to one of his magnum opus entitled al-Hikmah al-Mutāliyah fī al-Asfār al-Aqliyyah al-Arba'ah. . By using the philosophical descriptive method, it is concluded that al-'Ilm al-Ilah' in Mulla Sadra's philosophical systematics explains the significance of the paradigm and individual behavior to achieve ultimate perfection through the actuality of the soul. The soul in Mulla Sadra's view is the substance of human existence that experiences a movement from potential to actuality by involving the existence of reason and the five senses as the basic building of Islamic epistemology. The result of this paper is that the western epistemological discourse has not yet explained spiritual knowledge in human existence, while Mulla Sadra's significant role is to complete it by adding the spiritual side that is neglected in western discourse.Abstrak: Tulisan ini merupakan telaah pustaka pemikiran Mulla Sadra mengenai konsep ilm al-ilahī untuk menyempurnakan wacana epistemologi barat yang dipandang telah menghilangkan pengetahuan spiritual dalam peradaban filsafat. Tulisan ini bertujuan menjelaskan makna, tujuan, dan urgensi Ilm al-Ilahī untuk menyempurnakan paradigma dan perilaku individu dalam perspektif Mulla Sadra dengan merujuk salah satu magnumopusnya yang berjudul al-Hikmah al-Mutāliyah fī al- Asfār al-Aqliyyah al-Arba’ah. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif filosofis dihasilkan kesimpulan bahwa al-‘Ilm al-Ilahī dalam sistematika filsaat Mulla Sadra menjelaskan signifikansi paradigma dan perilaku individu untuk mencapai kesempurnaan hakiki melalui aktualitas jiwa. Jiwa dalam pandangan Mulla Sadra merupakan substansi keberadaan manusia yang mengalami pergerakan dari potensial menuju aktualitas dengan melibatkan eksistensi akal dan pancaindra sebagai bangunan dasar epistemologi Islam. Hasil dari tulisan ini, ialah menyempurnakan wacana epistemologi barat yang dipandang belum menjelaskan pengetahuan spiritual dalam eksistensi manusia melalui studi pemikiran Mulla Sadra.
