Hui folk dance has its unique charm as an indispensable part of Chinese folk dance. It reflects the customs and cultural characteristics of the Hui nationality. This article explores the historical formation of Hui folk dance, analyses its formation process in different periods of history, analyses the culture, the body vocabulary of the folk dance, the music, the rhythm of the dance, the influence on the folk dance, and the expression of aesthetic consciousness. Folk dances of the Hui nationality originate from the folk, and they also show their unique living habits, combining dance with the details of life to outline their unique dance posture. Hui folk dance expresses the value of aesthetic emotions, aesthetic knowledge, and aesthetic ideals of dance through historical portraits, national spirits, and traditional canons. The formation, aesthetic consciousness, and aesthetic characteristics of Hui folk dance were analysed to better understand the history and culture of Hui folk dance, learn it, inherit it, promote it, and enrich it for sustainability. Dance aesthetics as part of audience service. The audience will be aesthetically satisfied and this will affect their behavioural intentions.

A student learning portfolio is a documentation of student work that exhibits a student's effort, learning progress, achievements, and competencies gained during a course or time in university. However, compiling a hardcopy student learning portfolio requires excessive physical resources and space. Therefore, an innovative, creative and economical solution is needed for quality student service. Hence the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Pulau Pinang, has developed an initiative to implement an online student learning portfolio using the Google Sites online platform. This paper has two main objectives. Firstly, to describe the documentation processes of the online student portfolio implementation, which comprises the students' learning reflection, the cumulative Program Outcomes, (PO) attainment, and the progressive learning performance. Secondly, to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the student learning portfolio using an online platform. 863 students participated and successfully produced the online learning portfolio. The output and feedback received from the participants show that the implementation of the online student portfolio is highly beneficial and effective for both the students and the Faculty management, especially during a pandemic like COVID-19, where an economical solution is required, and the availability of documentation online can be accessed remotely.

Augmented reality has become one of the learning processes applicable through mobile devices, called Mobile Augmented Reality (MAR). Learning and service experiences can be enhanced using mobile devices such as those offered by MAR, an innovative learning space providing active interaction of superimposing digital content into the real world. Previous studies have discussed the importance of the MAR system in various domains, especially in education, as it led students to achieve higher levels of engagement in their learning process. However, there are limitations in highlighting the importance of the development process for MAR. Therefore, this present study describes the development process of MAR through the AREM model, which aimed to exhibit the systematic guidelines in producing a practicable MAR. It also highlights the preferable learning content and media component based on the respondents’ responses in the survey questionnaire. Data gathered from questionnaires were analysed by using descriptive statistics. The guideline in developing MAR can benefit students and educators in producing a MAR for learning purposes.

Providing affordable, safe, and reliable care while improving performance and efficiency remains a challenge in the healthcare sector. This study reviews the previous researches on the effect of lean manufacturing practice (LMP) and industrial revolution 4.0 technologies (IR 4.0 tech) on sustainability; however, there is still a paucity of literature on the implementation of the practices in the healthcare sector. Although studies have shown that LMP has significantly impacted organizational performance in the manufacturing industry, the integrated effects of LMP and IR 4.0 technologies on sustainable performance have not been empirically examined in the healthcare sector. This study, therefore, intends to have a preliminary conceptual approach to the joint effect of LPM and IR 4.0 technologies on sustainability before subsequently going for an empirical study to address the gap in the sector. The study aimed to confirm the future direction of the public health sector that has recently been employing new technologies in its service systems. The consequent study shall be based on data collected from the health practitioners who are working and familiar with the smart tools to expedite services for healthcare. However, this present study unfolds the significant contribution of operations management practices and how sustainable performance can be enhanced through performance variation and strategic implementation in the healthcare sector. Lean practices and IR 4.0 technologies lead to improvement and operational sustainability when fully implemented in the healthcare sector.

The deadly coronavirus disease which started in the year 2019 (COVID-19, as named by the World Health Organization) is a grave threat to mankind. This COVID-19 pandemic has caused the loss of many lives worldwide. Henceforth, this omni-present and dangerous virus need to be curbed soonest possible and the entire world needs to do its best with love and care to contain the pandemic. As being said, all stakeholders at different levels need to join hands and work together consistently and continuously to achieve service excellence for sustainability.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the prospective learner’s perception of effective market segmentation and advertising messages for open distance learning (ODL) advertisements. A descriptive study was conducted to assess the perceptions of prospective ODL learners in Malaysia. Selfadministered questionnaires were used to obtain meaningful data from 314respondents. The study was conducted from January to March, 2021. Based on the analysis, accessibility between the ODL institution and its market segments was viewed by the majority of the respondents as more important than substantiality. Furthermore, the respondents agreed that reminders and persuasive messages are significant in attracting audience attention to an ODL institution. The standardised path coefficients have shown that accessibility, reminders and persuasive messages are significant predictors of the sustainability of ODL institutions, whereas substantiality was perceived by the respondents as being insignificant. The results from this study will help ODL institutions be more focused when designing their advertising messages, and will deepen their understanding of market needs. These findings have strong implications for academic ODL institutions, particularly in the aspect of institutional sustainability based on effective market segmentation and the right strategy of advertising messages.

Over the years, researchers have conducted various studies on the adverse effects from world development growth. The real-time evidence of changes in the climate favours the stakeholders to support the sustainable development concept by balancing the environment, economic, and social needs. The construction industry is one of the industries held responsible for the release of harmful emissions throughout its lifecycle. The awareness of the need of supporting the sustainable principle has led to many initiatives in reducing the energy consumption in buildings, which include the demand for green building construction. Although extensive research and evaluation tools of green buildings are carried out, lessattention is made on social needs, which include the occupants’ perception and satisfaction. Consequently, recent studies found discrepancies in occupant satisfaction claiming better comfort and health in green buildings. This study is therefore aiming to identify the key social factors that lead to occupants’ satisfaction. Literature was carried out by systematically searching online literature databases, using keywords searches, within ten (10) years of time frame from 2012 to 2021. Through the analysis, the following result on the social factors is obtained, namely comfort, health, safety, system’s controllability, productivity at work, corporate satisfaction, water efficiency, and energy efficiency. By identifying these factors, this article is hoped to improve the development of the green strategy, supporting the eleventh and thirteenth trust in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Tax evasion amongst small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is a global concern. While the social-psychological aspect has been explored, its influence on tax evasion in SMEs is still inconclusive. This study examines the effect of fairness and transparency on the attitude towards tax evasion amongst the owners of SMEs. A mixed-mode survey was used in obtaining data from four populous divisions of Sarawak, Malaysia. Random sampling was employed in selecting the potential respondents from the service sector. Data from 91 useable questionnaires were analysed using Smart-PLS 3.0. The results revealed that distributive fairness and distributive fiscal transparency have significant negative effects on SME owners’ attitudes towards tax evasion. On the other hand, general fairness and informational transparency were insignificant. These findings may benefit the tax authority and policymakers in formulating appropriatestrategies to curb erosion of income tax revenue from tax evasion. The findings also contribute to the paucity of literature about the significance ofthe social-psychological aspect in minimizing tax evasion.

The COVID-19 outbreak has impacted global mental health and wellbeing; those severely affected are the healthcare workers (HCWs). Despite the overwhelming consequences, there is sparse knowledge on subjective opinions of HCWs on factors contributing to their stress. This study aimed to explore the opinions of HCWs on factors contributing to their psychological distress. We analysed thematically secondary data of the opinions and suggestions of HCWs, which were retrieved from the computerized mental health monitoring system and online Psychosocial First Aid of the main admitting hospital for COVID-19 in Malaysia and its related healthcare facilities during the second wave of the pandemic. Data of 1290 HCWs indicated the main concerning themes were i) work safety and hazard; ii) organizational culture and behaviour; iii) appreciation and reward and, iv) their concern on public issues. These findings may inform hospital authorities to provide more effective service management to prevent psychological distress and address the relevant contributing factors to ensure the HCWs have optimum mental health during current and future disasters.

The recent outbreak of COVID-19 has negatively impacted the global Islamic economy, including the Halal food industry. Despite the pandemic, the Halal food industry continues to survive due to the growing and diverse Muslim population. Thus, researchers focus has shifted to the global Muslim consumers, especially their religiosity. Over the past few years, substantialresearch has focused on the effect of religiosity in predicting behaviour. Nevertheless, current conceptualisation and operationalisation have limited understanding of the multidimensional nature of religiosity. As such, this scarcity may not reflect the entire phenomenon. This paper aims to identify the Muslim consumer religiosity factors concerning Halal food products. The findings from this study suggest five factors that contribute to Muslim consumer religiosity, including the socio-environmental aspects that are essential pillars of sustainability. This new finding suggests that future research explore the social and environmental responsiveness concerning Muslim consumers in order for Halal practitioners to develop sustainable strategies that cater to Muslim consumer preferences.
