Kecemasan/Anxiety adalah suatu keadaan aprehensi atau keadaan khawatir yang mengeluhkan bahwa sesuatu yang buruk akan segera terjadi. Kecemasan bisa menjadi abnormal bila tingkatannya tidak sesuai dengan proporsi ancaman. Kecemasan/Anxiety merupakan salah satu kasus yang sering dimunculkan dalam adegan-adegan pada film, Salah satunya terdapat pada film yang penulis teliti yaitu Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4. Penelitian ini fokus pada pemaknaan pesan tentang Anxiety Disorder dari karakter Clay Jensen yang terkandung dalam serial drama Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4. Dalam pembahasan nya, disusun beberapa rumusan masalah, yaitu: bagaimana unsur Anxiety Disorder yang terdapat pada episode 3 serial ini dan bagaimana Signifier dan Signified dari Anxiety Disorder padaepisode 3 serial ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana unsur Anxiety Disorder yang terdapat pada serial ini dan bagaimana bentuk Signifier dan Signified dari Anxiety Disorder pada serialini. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan ialah penelitian kualitatif analisis semiotika. Unit analisis penelitian ini adalah potongan-potongan gambar, teks, suara, atau bunyi- bunyian yang terdapat dalam Episode 3 Serial Drama “Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4”. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure dengan dua tahap yakni penanda dan petanda. Hasil dari penelitian ini melalui triangulasi data adalah gejala Anxiety dari Clay diklasifikasikan ke Generalize Anxiety Disorder.

Analisis Semiotika Pada Film Parasite Dalam Makna Denotasi Konotasi Dan Pesan Moral 寄生薄膜的符号学分析从含义和道德含义

Semiotic Analysis on Parasite Film is the title in this study.  Parasite is a film that tells about the social inequality that occurs between the lives of two families (the Park and Kim families) who have very different economies.  The Park family is a very wealthy family living in large and elite housing while the Kim family is a family whose family members are unemployed poor and live in a small semibasement house at the end of the road.  The conditions experienced by the Kim Family made them try to get out of their poor life by tricking the Park Family.  The storyline of this film finally made the writer interested in researching this film with the aim of analyzing the semiotic meaning of denotation and connotation as well as taking moral messages that can be taken from this film where the Parasite film has a storyline that describes human life today.  This study uses Roland Barthes' Semiotic Theory.  The unit of analysis in this research is the film parasite, where the author takes 10 scenes that the writer will examine.  The data collection technique that the writer uses is by watching the original film that is neither cut nor censored from start to finish, observing the scenes the author studies, conducting direct interviews with informants and observing the film.  This study uses a descriptive research methodology with a qualitative approach. The author also tests the validity of the data by testing the credibility or trust in the data by triangulating data sources and checking the data by conducting interviews with informants directly and asking questions related to films that help research.

Interaksi Sosial Warga Negara Asing terhadap Masyarakat Setempat (Local Community) di Sekitar Simpang Pasar Sei Sikambing Kecammatan Medan Helvetia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan proses interaksi yang terjadi antara warga berkebangsaan asing yaitu Afghanistan dengan warga Indonesia yang berada di Kota Medan tepatnya di daerah Kelurahan Sei Sikambing C II Medan Kecamatan Medan Helvetia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah studi pustaka, observasi dan wawancara secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : Proses interaksi dan adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh warga negara asing adalah proses interaksi berbentuk imitasi. Imitasi yang dimaksudkan disini adalah proses dimana warga negara asing terdorong untuk mempelajari bahasa Indonesia agar mempermudah berinteraksi dengan masyarakat setempat. Sedangkan proses adaptasi (penyesuaian) yang dilakukan oleh para refugees ini tidak menunjukkan proses penyesuaian yang signifikan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kondisi iklim negaa Indonesia tidak terlalu jauh berbeda dengan negara asal mereka serta karakteristik masyarakat setempat yang hampir sama di kebanyakan negara lainnya  yang tidak menuntut mereka untuk merubah atau  mengikuti kebiasaan-kebiasaan atau tradisi tertentu. Hal ini bertujuan agar mereka bisa berkomunikasi untuk bisa  memenuhi kebutuhan mereka sehari-hari.

Makna Pemasangan Pintan (Sajen) dalam Menyambut dan Mengakhiri Bulan Ramadhan pada Etnis Jawa di Dusun VII Desa Laut Dendang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang pemasangan Pintan (Sajen), mengetahui proses pemasangan Pintan (Sajen), dan mengetahui makna pemasangan Pintan (Sajen).Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitataif dengan pendekatan Etnografi. Penelitian dengan pendekatan Etnografi menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data seperti observasi partisipasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi dan membuat catatan lapangan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa Tradisi pemasangan Pintan (Sajen) merupakan tradisi yang turun menurun masih dilaksanakan hingga saat ini. Pemasangan Pintan (Sajen)merupakan tadisi pemberian suatu sajian kepada para leluhur yang sudah tiada saat menyambut dan mengakhiri Ramadhan. Latar belakang etnis Jawa masih melaksanakan tradisi ini karena dengan kepercayaan etnis Jawa bahwa arwah leluhur akan datang saat masuknya bulan Ramadhan sehingga diberikan sajian yang disebut Pintan (Sajen)proses pemasangan Pintan (Sajen)dimulai dengan menyediakan beberapa jenis makanan nasi, lauk pauk seperti Ayam, dan sambal, beberapa jenis meinuman seperti kopi, teh manis, air putih, selain itu ada Pisang Raja, Kue Apem, bunga telon, rokok. Setelah pemasangan dilaksanakan maka dilakukannya Pemasrahanyang maksudnya adalah mengundang dan mempersilahkan para leluhur untuk menikmati sajian Pintan (Sajen)yang sudah disediakan kemudian dilakukan Morotin atau penarikan sajian dari meja sebelumnya.  Pemasangan Pintan (Sajen)dalam menyambut dan mengakhiri Ramadhan memiliki makna memberikan penghormatan kepada leluhur, karena walaupun mereka sudah tiada anak dan cucunya masih mengingat mereka dengan memberikan sajian Pintan (Sajen).

Studi Eksploratif Persepsi dan Etika Masyarat Jawa dalam Menghadapi Erupsi Gunung Semeru 针对塞默鲁火山爆发的爪哇知觉和伦理研究

This study aims to explore the ethical perceptions of the Javanese community in dealing with the eruption of Mount Semeru in Lumajang, East Java. This type of research is qualitative, using exploratory methods. Exploration was carried out with 30 informants who were divided into 4 groups, namely general public groups, indigenous peoples groups, santri community groups, and modern community groups, but in this study 3 groups were crucial to determine the research results. The results of this study show differences in the perceptions of the three groups, namely indigenous groups using a mythical approach, santri community groups using religious and scientific approaches, while modern community groups use a scientific approach. However, there are some modern people who still believe and believe in myths. The conclusion of this study is that the differences in the perceptions of the three groups represent the way of arguing with their beliefs and beliefs.

The results of this study show differences in the perceptions of the three groups, namely indigenous groups using a mythical approach, santri community groups using religious and scientific approaches, while modern community groups use a scientific approach. However, there are some modern people who still believe and believe in myths. Komunitas Young Interfaith Peacemaker Community (YIPC) di Kota Medan Medan镇年轻的跨信仰和平主义者社区

The YIPC community is a national scale interfaith peace community. The YIPC center is in Yogyakarta and has several regions, one of which is in Medan. As a community that is quite large and consists of several religious backgrounds, it will have its own challenges in maintaining the existence of its community. One of the ways is by strengthening integration among YIPC members. The solid integration within the group can be reflected in the interaction and communication between group members. Therefore, this research is focused on exploring further about communication within the YIPC community. The research method used is a qualitative approach. The unit of analysis is the Medan Regional YIPC community. Regional routine activities carried out are Scriptural reasoning and weekly discussions, Peace Camp (PC), Holding various social actions, Training for facilitators, commemorating religious holidays and Commemorating International Day of Peace.

The research purposes to see the netnography that occurs in the WTSM community in WAG about street photography. In this research, researchers used a virtual ethnographic approach. Virtual ethnography is an ethnographic method used to observe social phenomena and or user culture in cyberspace. Communication in the WAG Community WTSM is a social interaction that occurs in an open, flexible, and dynamic way. Every day WTSM Community members interact with each other, discuss with each other. This makes the knowledge of WTSM Community members grow, especially in the field of street photography. The social integration that occurs in the WTSM Community WAG can be seen from the social activities carried out by fellow members, these mutual help activities build good integration among members. Based on the contents of the WAG conversation, the WTSM Community has a star pattern communication pattern, each member communicates with each other without any relationship restrictions between members, so that each member is free to communicate with all members.

Analisa Simbolik Ritual Penusur Sira di Desa Dokan, Kecamatan Merek, Kabupaten Karo

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna simbolik Ritual Penusur Sira yang ada di desa Dokan. Untuk mengannalisis tujuan tersebut, maka dipaka teori komunikasi dan teori semiotik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menemukan, bahwa Pertama, adanya hubungan antar dimensi antara Beru Dayang dengan masyarakat desa Dokan. Kedua, setiap kata, benda, tanaman serta tahapan pelaksanaan Ritual Penusur Sira memiliki makna simbolik yang berisikan harapan dan doa kepada Dibata (Tuhannya). Makna-makna simbolik menyimpan kearifan lokal yang menjadi pedoman hidup dan menjaga hubungan antar manusia, manusia dengan Tuhannya, dan manusia dengan alam. Ketiga, setiap sangkep nggeluh memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pelaksanan ritual atau upacara adat. Masyarakat etnik Karo sangat menjaga hubungan darah dan meringankan beban pekerjaan maka fungsi Sangkep Nggeluh masih tetap dipertahankan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antar budaya lokal dan budaya global di kalangan masyarakat etnik Karo telah meminggirkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dan memunculkan persepi baru. Akibatnya Ritual Penusur Sira di kalangan masyarakat etnik Karo di desa Dokan mengalami degradasi makna dan bahkan dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang tidak penting.

This study purpose to know some factors which has background a children working as a singer, social interaction between a children singers with the condition economy of family. The children working as a singer in Simpang Pos Jl. Jamin Ginting Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Medan. The research methodology used a qualitative research with descriptive approach technic to collecting data that used is observation, interview, and documentation. The result of research is the children that working as singers has background some of factors related to one another is a problem of poverty that cause low income the parents so that the children working too, some of the poor children working because willingness their self because realize the income of their parents that unable sufficient the needed of family, beside that the children working in the streets as singers that cause of blind following factors with their friend of the same age and cultural factors.

This study aims to determine the phenomenon of young marriage in the digital era for ethnic Karo in Pekan Sawah Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency. This research was conducted qualitatively with a descriptive approach. The data needed is collected through observational studies, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted to determine the phenomenon of young marriage in the digital era for ethnic Karo in Pekan Sawah Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency. This study concludes that the phenomenon of young marriage in the digital age for the Karo ethnicity in Pekan Sawah Village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency, that the phenomenon of young marriage does not affect every system, because in this case only the most prominent social system. This means that individual behavior in the social system is governed by culture, just as it does in Pekan Sawah Village. They consider young marriages to be commonplace, because previously the village community had done a lot of young marriages. The phenomenon of young marriage that occurs in Pekan Sawah Village is a patterned network, which forms a coherent whole as a totality of social values and their own behavior. The development of technology in the digital direction has brought various changes. The digital age is not a matter of being prepared or not and is not an option but is a consequence.
