Analysis of Math Teacher Candidates’ Misconception on the Dynamic Electricity Concept 数学教师考生对动电学概念的误解分析

This study was intended to reveal the profile of students’ misconception of the concept of  dynamic electricity in one private university in Cirebon city. In the study of physics, the  misconception will hamper the achievement of physics learning goals. Misconceptions will greatly hinder the process of acceptance and assimilation of knowledge in students, so that they will hinder the success to learn more. It is necessary to conduct research on the analysis of misconception of mathematics teacher candidates on the concept of dynamic electricity. Misconception is defined as a student conception that is incompatible with the simplified conception of physicists. To identify misconceptions experienced by students, multiple-choice diagnostic tests equipped with a Certainty Response Index (CRI) can be conducted. The data obtained is then completed with interview data. This research is a descriptive research which is a research to give a description about phenomenon, or facts under study by describing the value of the variable without comparing. The study found that 81% of students’ have a misconception in the sub-chapter of electric current, and 50% in the concept of electric potential difference sub-chapter.
本研究旨在揭示喀土邦市一所私立大学学生对动态电力概念的误解概况。在物理学习中,误解会阻碍物理学习目标的实现。误解会极大地阻碍学生对知识的接受和同化过程,从而阻碍他们成功地学习更多的知识。有必要对数学教师考生对动电学概念的误解进行分析研究。误解被定义为与物理学家的简化概念不相容的学生概念。为了识别学生的误解,可以进行带有确定性反应指数(CRI)的多项选择诊断测试。然后用访谈数据完成获得的数据。本研究是一种描述性研究,即通过描述变量的值而不进行比较来描述所研究的现象或事实的研究。研究发现,81%的学生在电流子章节中存在误解,50%的学生在电位差概念子章节中存在误解。

The Effectiveness of Worksheet Based Learning of Rotational Dynamics on Students’ Critical Thinking Skills Viewed from IQ Score 从IQ分数看旋转动力学练习题学习对学生批判性思维能力的影响

The aim of this study is to find out and analyze the effect of a worksheet based learning of rotational dynamics on students’ critical thinking skills viewed from IQ score and the correlation between critical thinking skills and the students’ IQ score. This research has been conducted in even semester of the academic year of 2017/2018, in university in Bandung area. All students in a university in Bandung City are the population for this study with the target population are all students in the first year in the university year of 2017/2018. The sample in this study is the first semester of Physics Education students as an experimental group, selected using purposive sampling technique, with data collecting tool in the form of written test of critical thinking skill and IQ. The research design used is one shot case design. A hypothesis test is done by using correlation and regression. The whole test of this data analysis used SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the learning-based student's worksheet on the concept of Rotational Dynamics significantly influences students' critical thinking skills. It can be seen from the score of n-gain which is 0.5. Based on the calculation on correlation obtained value of 0.185 0.05, in other words, the students’ IQ score does not affect the students’ critical thinking skills. So it can be concluded that there is no correlation between IQ and critical thinking skills which seen from the results of correlation and regression analysis.
本研究的目的在于从智商分数的角度,找出并分析基于工作表的旋转动力学学习对学生批判性思维技能的影响,以及批判性思维技能与学生智商分数的相关性。这项研究是在万隆地区的一所大学的2017/2018学年的两个学期进行的。万隆市一所大学的所有学生都是本研究的人群,目标人群是2017/2018学年一年级的所有学生。本研究的样本是物理教育第一学期的学生作为实验组,采用有目的抽样技术选择,数据收集工具以批判性思维技能和智商笔试的形式进行。本研究采用的设计为单枪式设计。假设检验是通过相关和回归来完成的。整个测试的数据分析使用SPSS程序。本研究结果显示,以学习为基础的学生旋转动力学概念作业对学生的批判性思维能力有显著影响。从n-gain的分数为0.5可以看出。通过相关系数的计算得到的值为0.185 0.05,即学生的智商分数对学生的批判性思维能力没有影响。因此,从相关分析和回归分析的结果可以看出,智商与批判性思维能力之间没有相关性。

Correlation Analysis between External Factors and Students’ Physics Learning Achievement 外部因素与学生物理学习成绩的相关分析

Research was conducted to determine whether there is 1) the relationship between the state of the family of learning achievement, 2) the relationship between the state schools of learning achievement, 3) the relationship between communities of learning achievement, and 4) the relationship between the state of the family, school and community environment against learning achievement. This research is associative quantitative correlational analysis techniques. The results showed: 1) There is a positive relationship between the state of the family of learning achievement, the result of the calculation shows r table> count r ie 0.51 > 0.38, 2) There is a positive relationship between the state schools of learning achievement, the result of the calculation shows r count> r table is 0.39 > 0.38, 3) There is a positive relationship between communities of learning achievement, it is shown from the results of calculations, the count r> r table is 0.51 > 0.38, and 4) There is a positive relationship between the state of the family, school and community environment on achievement study, it was shown from the calculation, the concordance coefficient 0,95 and the value of significance (p) of 0,00 <0.05.

The diversity of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Based on Morphological Approach 基于形态学方法的芙蓉植物多样性研究

The aim of this research was to know the morphological diversity of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis through visual observation. The character of the qualitative and quantitative morphology of Hibiscus was analyzed descriptively. The result showed that there are 15 types of Hibiscus have morphological differences. There are two kinds of leaf shape that is ovatus and deltoideus. While The leaf base is obtusus, rotundatus and truncatus. The leaf apex includes acute and acuminate. All cultivars have a similar leaf margin that is serrate. The leaf colours are variable ranging from green, young green, dark green and variegate (combination between green and white). The flowers have 6 main color variations i.e beige, yellow, red, orange, pink and white. The corolla forms a single petal or a double petal, with two types of corolla uniquely buds and breech. It can be concluded that the cultivar of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is variable in leaves and flowers.

Response of Pineapple Callus (Ananas comosus Merr.) through In-Vitro Colchicines Treatment 秋水仙碱对菠萝愈伤组织的影响

Pineapple Plant ( Ananas comosus (L.) Merr) is a fruit plant that has a high economic value. Increased variety of pineapple preparations lead to increased demand for pineapple fruit. Polyploidation is one way to increase the varieties using colchicine. This study aims to know the pineapple explants of callus response after being treated by colchicine using in vitro method. This research used Group Randomized Design (GRD) which variations concentration of Colchicine 0%, 0.01%, 0.05%, and 0.1%. Parameters were observed to response and thickness of callus of pineapple explants. Data were analyzed using F test and DMRT test in which significance level of 5% with SPSS 17 program. The results showed that pineapple plant explant able to respond colchicine concentration marked with thicker callus. The best colchicine treatment to induce pineapple explants callus was concentration 0.1% of colchicine.

The Benefit of Purple Aruk Rice (Siangu) in Lowering Body Mass Index (BMI) and Body Fat Percentage 紫阿鲁米对降低体质量指数和体脂率的作用

Aruk rice is an iconic rice from Province of Bangka Belitung which is made from cassava while purple aruk rice (PAR)e is made from sweet potato ( Ipomea batatas ). Ipomea batatas is a high nutritional food that possesses several medicinal value including anti-cancer, antidiabetic, and anti-inflammatory activities. This research aimed to assest the organoleptic features of PAR and analyze the effect of PAR consumption in lowering the BMI and bofody fat percentage. The design of this research was randomized crossover design with quasi experimental research within subjects single-factor two-level design. This experiment consist of three phases, phase 1 (plain rice consumption), wash out phase, and phase 3 (PAR consumption). The only different between two phases was the source of the carbohydrate. The data of decreasing BMI and body fat percentage betweern plain rice diet and purple aruk rice was analyzed by using paired t test. Organoleptic assessment showed that the aroma of PAR is dislikeable but the natural purple colour is likeable. The decreasing of BMI and body fat percentage was found higher in phase 2 (2,05±0,10) than phase 1 (0,4±0,14), p=0,002. The decreasing of body fat percentage was also found higher in phase 2 or purple aruk rice diet (2,55±0,25) compared to phase 1 plain rice diet (0,5±0,20), p=0,003. Consumption of aruk purple rice lower BMI and body fat percentage more effective than consumption of plain rice.

The examination of the acoustic characteristic of rice bran has been performed. The materials are the alternative materials of the noise controllerfrom the use of synthetic fiber materials like glasswool. The examination is completed by using tube impedance method. The result of the examination reveals that the natural fiber materials that have been mixed with glue have a good value of sound absorption at frequency 400-1200 Hz whereas at frequency 200 Hz, its value does not change significantly. The high value of the sound absorption is owned by materials with the bigger porous. Beside the coefficient of the absorbtion, the examination of value of acoustic impendence is also performed. The result shows that the similar composition between natural fiber and glue has a bigger value of impendence compared to the lower composition of glue. It is caused by the fulfillment of the bigger amount of the porous by glue.
对米糠的声学特性进行了测试。这些材料是噪音控制器使用合成纤维材料如玻璃棉的替代材料。采用管阻抗法完成检测。测试结果表明,掺入胶水的天然纤维材料在400 ~ 1200hz频率处吸声值较好,在200hz频率处吸声值变化不明显。多孔材料具有较高的吸声值。除吸收系数外,还进行了声阻抗值的检测。结果表明:天然纤维与胶水的成分相近,其阻抗值较大,而胶水的成分较低;这是由于胶水满足了较大的孔隙量而引起的。
