The article tries to elaborate the linguistic interpretation of the Qur’an in the Ma’a>nil Qur’a>n written by al-Farra'. The book is considered as the first codified book of qur’anic interpretation. By using historical approach and critical-analitical method, the writer concludes that the book Ma’a>nil Qur’a>n is one of qur’anic interpretation colored by linguistic perspective, because al-Farra’, as a writer, was well known as linguist from Kufa, aspecially in arabic grammar (Nahwu) after al-Kisa>’i. Al-Farra>’ did not only interprete qur’anic verses to disclose the hidden meanings, but also made the interpretation of the Qur’an (tafsi>r) to justify and support the theory of Kufah’s Nahwu.

Abstrak Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana fenomena salah tulis al-Qur’an dalam dunia Muslim itu terjadi. Disadari atau tidak, sebagian umat Muslim sering salah dalam menuliskan ayat al-Qur’an meski ia menghafalnya. Berdasarkan analisis sejarah, fenomena yang seperti ini sangat mungkin terjadi. Fenomena salah tulis al-Qur’an terbentuk adalah karena dominannya pentransmisian al-Qur’an secara lisan, bukan tulisan. Petransmisian ini dilakukan sejak masa Nabi sampai sekarang. Meski al-Qur’an sudah berada dalam tradisi tulis, namun sejatinya tradisi tulis tersebut hanya untuk memperkuat kelisanan al-Qur’an. Kemudian seberapa besar kesadaran masyarakat akan tradisi lisan dan tulisan juga turut mempengaruhinya. Bagi mereka yang hanya memiliki kesadaran, lisan salah tulis adalah hal yang lumrah. Namun, bagi mereka yang memiliki kesadaran tulisan, salah tulis adalah hal yang tabu. Dalam masyarakat Muslim sendiri justru kesadaran tulis belum mendominasi dalam diri masyarakatnya secara penuh. Realized or not, some Muslims are often wrong in writing verses of the Qur'an even though he memorized it. Based on historical analysis, this phenomenon is very likely to occur. The phenomenon of mistakenly written of the Qur'an was formed because of the dominance of transmitting the Qur'an orally, not writing. This transmission has been carried out since the time of the Prophet until now. Although the Qur'an is already in the tradition of writing, but true writing tradition is only to strengthen the allegiance of the Qur'an. Then how much public awareness of oral and written traditions also influenced him. For those who have only consciousness, written oral misconduct is commonplace. However, for those who have written consciousness, mis-writing is taboo. In the Muslim community itself the written consciousness has not yet dominated in its society in full.

Abstract: The semiology theory constructed by Roland Barthes has two stages. The first stage is called the linguistic system, while the second stage is called a mythological system. In this paper, the author tries to apply the theory to understand the concept of polygamy in the Qur'an. The result of the application of the theory in Q.S An-Nisa verse 3 is the linguistic system in the word matsna, wa tsulasa, wa ruba 'means not only the number but also means a limit of polygamy permissible. While the mythological system is allowed polygamy but it is more recommended for monogamy. The ideology contained in the verse is the ideology of feminism.

Bbc.com noted that in the last 40 years in Indonesia, there were 4 major cases including Lia Eden, Arswendo, HB Jassin and Teguh Santosa. Melissa Crouch noted that at least 120 people were tried for harassing religion. However, I underline that the issue of blasphemy arises recently because it began with a case of Ahok in Kepulauan Seribu. After that case, the case of blasphemy emerged like a domino effect, leaving questions in my mind, ‘why can it be like this?'. In this study, I will try to examine how the contestation of cases of blasphemy in Indonesia is so intertwined. By using descriptive and interpretative analysis methods, I found that the polemic of the emergence of blasphemy cases in Indonesia is motivated by two things; the interpretation of certain authorities who consider that in the Koran there is a set of positive punishment for blasphemy cases. Furthermore, the Blasphemy Law in Indonesia is very biased in determining certain individuals / groups as religious opponents.

This research discusses about nushuz} of wife and the husband’s right to threat the nushuz of his} wife. This focuses on Laleh Bakhtiar’s Perspektif on violence against women in the Quran surah 4:34. The word wadhribuhunna in the surah does not only mean “to hit” but there are a lot of meanings of it, however, her interpretation of Qur’an got several critics. This surah can be interpreted upon the perspective on social and fenimism context in the relation between husband and wife in Indonesia and how it’s defferent in the Islamic Country. This is a literate study that will employ a library research methodology as well to examine and analyze the Islam position in general on the surah vis a vis women beating practises conducted by the husband based on the surah. This can be considered as a hard evidence of how the Quran should not be interpreted in a physical context alone but rather in contextual perspective.

Abstrak This paper will explore aspects of research methodology of exegesis written by Aksin Wijaya related to methods nuzuli ala Muhammad Izzat Darwazah. For that, the focus of this discussion is the methodology of his research in his own book of under title Sejarah Kenabian Dalam Perspektif Tafsir Nuzuli Muhammad Izzat Darwazah, finding out how people review mufassir. Specifically, the methodical determination of the previous his experienced has moved soon of orientation from the critical to the descriptive while facing of four books, namely: Tafsir al Hadith, 'Ashr al Nabiy wa Biatuhu Qabla al Bi'tsah, Sirah al Rasul; Suwar Muqtabasah min al Qur'an, and ad Dustur al Qur'an fi Su'uni al Hayat works of thinkers and historians. From his reading, he at least analyzes his views into two important parts, namely; 1) the interpretation method of nuzuli and the ideal concept it contains, 2) it then draws it into the realm of pre-Islamic, personal and family life of the prophet Muhammad, to the condition of the people of prophetic era through the perspective of nuzuli Izzat Darwazah exegesis. According to the reviewer, there are other research elements in writing the work of the exegesis, namely some models of research methods of interpretation at once, such as: comparative research, character research, and thematic-nuzuli research. Whereas although placed more as an overview of nuzuli interpretation, at least he invites readers, especially in Indonesia to re-read the tafsir nuzuli treasury and see which is as worthy to be developed in the turats of Islam Nusantara. Abstrak Tulisan ini hendak menelusuri aspek metodologi penelitian tafsir yang dilakukan oleh Dr. Aksin Wijaya terkait metode nuzuli ala Muhammad Izzat Darwazah. Untuk itu, fokus dari pembahasan ini adalah tentang metodologi penelitiannya dalam buku berjudul Sejarah Kenabian Dalam Perspektif Tafsir Nuzuli Muhammad Izzat Darwazah untuk mengetahui bagaimana orang mengkaji mufassir. Dimana secara khusus mulai penentuan metodis dari sebelumnya ia mengalami pergeseran orientasi dari kritis ke deskriptif dalam menghadapi empat kitab hasil perburuannya, yaitu: Tafsir al Hadits, ‘Ashr al Nabiy wa Biatuhu Qabla al Bi’tsah, Sirah al Rasul; Suwar Muqtabasah min al Qur’an, dan ad Dustur al Qur’an fi Su’uni al Hayat karya tokoh pemikir dan sejarawan. Dari pembacaannya tersebut, ia setidaknya menganalisa pandangannya menjadi dua bagian penting, yaitu; 1) metode tafsir nuzuli dan konsep ideal yang dikandungnya, 2) kemudian ia menariknya ke ranah kehidupan masyarakat pra-islam, pribadi dan keluarga nabi Muhammad saw, hingga kondisi masyarakat era kenabian melalui perspektif tafsir nuzuli Izzat Darwazah. Pun demikian, menurut penulis ada unsur penelitian lain dalam penulisan karya Aksin tersebut, yaitu beberapa model metode penelitian tafsir sekaligus, seperti: penelitian perbandingan, penelitian tokoh, dan penelitian tematik-nuzuli. Abstract Hidayatut Thulab is one of the pesantren in Kediri, East Java, which publishes many books, especially the book of morality and interpretation. Achmad Asymuni and his son Achmad Yasin Asmuni as caretakers of the Hidayatut Thulab pesantren are among the ulamas and kiai in Kediri, who are very productive in their work. This article aims to analyze one of the books by Achmad Yasin Asymuni entitled Tafsir al-Fatihah, the book of interpretation of his work is usually called tafsir bimakna petuk. The analysis was carried out using the Islah Gusmian text analysis framework with regard to the technical aspects of writing and hermeneutic aspects. From this analysis it can be seen that in the technical aspect of writing this interpretation adopts coherent systematic, detailed presentation form with persuasive exposition language style and non-scientific reference sources. As for the hermeneutic aspect, this interpretation has a Sufic theological nuance. Selain itu, kitab tafsir al-Fatihah ini menggunakan makna gandul dengan aksara Jawa pegon dengan dibubuhkan lambang kedudukan kata dalam tata bahasa Arab di hampir seluruh kata-kata.

The title of this research is distributed by some of the statements in the Qur'an about ethics against the property. On the one hand the Qur'an looked positively treasure, on the other hand the Quran as if not condone. This research would like to find a concept of how the Qur'an against ethics against property by emphasizing the ethical discussion of acquiring property, possession and utilization of ethics of property. The type and pattern of this research is a library that is descriptive qualitative analysis. The main object of his research is the Qur'an. Therefore, the method used is the science of tafseer. Because this research is to find a concept, the approach used was thematic tafseer. The texts relating to the subject matter of discussion. As for to analyze the problem, the authors use think inductively, that is, seeks to provide answers to various issues of life with departure from nas Qur'an towards reality (min al-Qur'an ila al-wâqi '). With this approach the authors limit themselves to things that are described by the Qur'an, including in the selection of the theme, and only use the vocabulary or term used Al Qur'an. The discussion in this paper are not directed to the type, quality or quantity of property. Instead it focused on the ethical attitude of man against the property, in which case the problem of acquiring property, possession and utilization of property. Of exposure data in this discussion, several conclusions, among them. The mention of the Qur'an on wealth seems less condone, not aimed at the material, melain aimed at human attitude towards wealth that made the property into a negative. The advice of the Qur'an against the wealth not only technical problems, but rather ethical issues as moral values built in Islam.
