This paper proposes a Node Localization algorithm using Convex Optimization (which is called NLCO) in Wireless Sensor Networks. NLCO can be used to help localizing a friend or malicious node. NLCO uses an algorithm based on optimization of convex to evaluate the place of malicious node. Simulation results show that NLCO is both secure and robust in an environment without colluding. NLCO can identify more than half of the malicious nodes. Furthermore in an environment with colluding, no more than 15% of malicious nodes can escape from the identification of our methods.

This paper presents an identification approach based on invertible singleton fuzzy models in order to implement a control system for a progressive cavity pump-based petroleum production system, by using the inverse model control scheme. The identification proposal uses input-output process variables measurements and an off-line genetic algorithm, which is designed for guarantying the analytical calculation of the inverse model. Regarding the application of the genetic algorithm, three selection methods are evaluated: tournament selection, roulette wheel selection and linear rank selection. Once the fuzzy singleton model is identified, the controller design is a straightforward procedure. Computer simulations show the potential application of this kind of model in real industrial control processes.

In order to reason for the conflicting beliefs, this paper employs the conclusion that does not contain opposite information as the hypothesis expansion. Furthermore, it provides the definition of hypothesis extension based on the method of belief non-revision. The hypothesis expansion has a series of good mathematical properties, e.g., consistency and closeness. This paper proposes the algorithm for extension of clausal beliefs based on the definition and its good nature. Although the number of clausal beliefs may decrease the working speed of the algorithm, the correctness of the corresponding conclusion is enhanced. The experimental results demonstrate that, for a certain amount of beliefs, the efficiency of proposed approach still can be guaranteed.

To ensure the safety and serviceability of underground pipeline, it is essential to inspect and assess its structural and functional condition. Underground pipe inner-surface defect inspection is constrained by space accessibility. Thus, in this work we propose a comprehensive in-pipe inspection method based on active stereo omnidirectional vision. In our system, a crawling robot equipped with an active stereo omnidirectional vision sensor travels along the pipeline, taking panoramic images of the internal surface and laser streaks projected from an omnidirectional laser in real time. Afterwards, the internal surface panoramic images are disposed as follows: unwrapping, pre-processing and geometrical features extraction of the defect region, ultimately we classify the defects' category and degree. On the other hand, image sequences with laser streaks are used to extract 3D point cloud data of the inner-surface and calculate the deformation rate of the pipe, this part is not included in this paper. Experimental results show that our system is capable to achieve a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the in-pipe defects such as crack and corrosion, and provide a new approach for inspection of the in-pipe internal surface defects.

In research of copyright protection of digital text, according to the text watermark robustness and weakness of attack resistance, the irregular surface texture mapping strategy has been introduced into text zero-watermark technology, puts forward the method based on texture mapping coordinates of text zero-watermark, and constructs the construction and detection process model, and also designs the core algorithm. First, from the word level, paragraph level and text level, those levels construct the text- curved surface projection model. Then extract the center word coordinates corresponding to the plane and curved surface in the model. Last for the surface coordinates, by using the edge-vertex texture mapping and the interior point harmonic mapping, to get the texture coordinate, and then combine it with plane coordinate to build index to complete text zero-watermark construction and detection. In order to validate the watermark scheme is effectively and feasibly, simulation tests are provided. The experimental results indicate the method has good robustness and strong ability against attack, especially, for the attack toward sentence type conversion, it has more obvious advantages.

Image-to-Device color gamut mapping is one of the most important trends in gamut mapping work. And many researchers have studied more in the area of new and common method for gamut mapping. In this paper, the original images gamut was studied. And we proposed four properties of image gamut including gamut volume, color distribution density, projection on a*b* plane and smoothness. The properties of several kinds of digital images, shadow image (Red Couch), highlight image (Wedding), group portraits image (Younger of Different Skin Colors), lady portrait image, neutral gray image, full-tone image (Fruits), and memory color image (Bridge with Roof) were investigated. The experiments indicated that there were distinct differences among them. The same gamut mapping methods were used for those above original images and the mapping results were evaluated. The results showed that the gamut mapping results were different when various images with different gamut properties were mapped using the same method. It indicated that the quality of color gamut mapping was influenced by the original image gamut properties. The results help to study on new common color gamut mapping algorithms.

This paper studies the design of host computer software for cloud particle measurement system. It includes data communication, data storage, RLE (Run Length Encoding) decompression, system environment variables and image display of particle data. The difficulties are the software architecture design and tri-channel data communication realization. The software has been implemented with the state machine and the queuing mechanism of LabVIEW. The tri-channel data communication uses three RS-422 ports. The high speed channel of tri-channel data communication, i.e. two-dimension particle data, uses synchronous format of HDLC (High-level Data Link Control). The test results show that the software meets the system requirements completely. This software has been registered software copyright, registered number is 2011SR058815.

A new method to design ball grinding mill automatic controlling system based on the MCGS configuration software was introduced, and the structure and the working principle of the whole system were studied. In the design of this system, the computer with MCGS configuration software was used as a host computer, and the monitoring functions, such as data collection, processing, display, alarm, report output, etc., were realized. Hypogynous machine (PLC)was used as regulator, so the process controlling was realized. The system can be completed on the mill's work situation of real-time remote monitoring and overload alarm. And the real-time adjustment of the input of mineral and water can be done according to the changes of the output of pulp granularity, pulp density and motor current. Automatic controlling of the ball grinding mill system would be finally completed.
