Automatic gain control (AGC) is an important way to expand input dynamic range and improve sensitivity of radar receiver. Digital automatic gain control (DAGC) is widely used in large dynamic range & high sensitivity radar digital receiver. In this paper, we propose a DAGC algorithm for radar digital receiver, and analyze the property of algorithm. Next, a simplified implementation of the algorithm is developed and simulated. Simulation results show that the designed DAGC algorithm can rapidly adjust gain to satisfy the needs of gain control in large dynamic range & high sensitivity radar digital receiver.

In this paper, we propose an opportunistic cooperative transmission (OCT) scheme combined with bi-directional relaying and physical layer network coding (PNC) in wireless sensor networks (WSNs).This scheme can be switched between PNC based distributed space-time block coding scheme and cooperative network-assisted diversity multiple access scheme to obtain the minimized frame-error-ratio (FER) performance. We analyze the FER performance difference when the two schemes are adopted separately to find the location of the relay where the system should change its cooperative scheme to obtain the smaller FER. Numerical and simulation results demonstrate that lower error rate can be obtained wherever the relay locates in the proposed scheme.

Wavelet is the last decade developed and quickly applied to a mathematical tool in many areas of image processing and speech analysis is a new breakthrough following Fourier (Joseph Fourier) analysis. Wavelet transform analysis of the local characteristics of the digital signal can depend on the scale stretching and displacement transformation, and then show the essential characteristics of digital signals within the. A simple method determining the thermal focal length of gain medium was investigated. Then by using computer simulation results, a novel configuration was proposed. In the new configuration, the gain medium acts as a mode limiter at maximal pump power, which restrains resonance of high-order modes and guarantees not only high output power but also high beam quality. An LD side-pumped Nd:YAG laser with output power of 400W at 1064nm was obtained experimentally with the new configuration. The experimental results are in agreement with theoretical predictions.

Association rule is an important technology in Data mining. In library lending services, it can be used to analyze and add up the library loan services and information, and can scientifically carry out proposed borrow and recommended books to improve the efficiency of library management. By case analysis, it shows that the apriori algorithm in the association rule can effectively tap the hidden behind the valuable information in the data, and provide decision support for the library services and help libraries to carry out personalized information services.

In Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET), the wireless medium is shared by the nodes in the network, and the available bandwidth is the most important parameter for the QoS policy designing. The estimating method in IEEE802.11e based MANET is proposed in our paper. With the method of channel monitoring, collision estimating and backoff duration predicting, the available bandwidth estimating can be achieved with the distributed manner. Results show that our proposed estimating method is accurate.

In wireless sensor networks, clustering algorithm prolongs network lifetime significantly. The network is often organized into clusters of equal size, but such even clustering method results in unequal loads on the cluster heads(CHs). To balance the energy consumption of the network nodes, an uneven Clustering Algorithm based on Fuzzy Theory(FTCA) is proposed. With the consideration of both the node's location and residual energy during CHs election, the algorithm optimizes the clustering probability. Triangle module operator in fuzzy theory is used to integrate the degree of location-based membership function and that of the residual energy. And the probability for a node to be a CH is decided by fusion result. Therefore, the network is divided into uneven clusters. Simulation results show that FTCA effectively balances and reduces the energy consumption of the network, and obviously prolongs the network lifetime.

As for MPC controllers, hard-constraint such as constraints on input magnitude or/and rate are generally regarded as an inviolable rule that has to be satisfied strictly before the cost function is optimized at each sampling instant. Such strategy is to result in control conservatism of MPC, as well as infeasibility problem. In this paper, constraint-softening technique is proposed, in which hard-constraint are relaxed appropriately and hence the region of hard-constraint is enlarged directly in optimizer of MPC. As a result, transient performance of the resulting system is significantly improved. Meanwhile, the feasibility problem is solved via this approach. A simulation result demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed constraint-softening technique.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are usually deployed in the work area for a long time, but most key managements are not stable enough that brings great threats to the WSNs. In this paper a multi-phase key pre-distribution scheme based on hash chain (HM scheme) is proposed in which the work time is divided into phases with different key matrixes to guarantee the safety of WSNs. Simulation results prove that HM scheme performs with perfect stability even though the nodes change greatly.
