Detection and Measurement of Displacement and Velocity of Single Moving Object in a Stationary Background 静止背景下单个运动物体位移和速度的检测与测量

The traditional Harris detector are sensitive to noise and resolution because without the property of scale invariant.  In this research, The Harris corner detector algorithm is improved, to work with multi resolution images, the technique has also been working with poor lighting condition by using histogram equalization technique. The work we have done addresses the issue of robustly detection of feature points, detected multiple of local features are characterized by the intensity changes in both horizontal and vertical direction which is called corner features.  The goal of this work is to detect the corner of an object through the Harris corner detector with multiple scale of the same image. The scale invariant property applied to the Harris algorithm for improving the corner detection performance in different resolution of the same image with the same interest point. The detected points represented by two independent variables (x, y) in a matrix (x, y) and the dependent variable f are called intensity of interest points. Through these independent variable, we get the displacement and velocity of object by subtracting independent variable f(x,y) at current frame from the previous location f ̀((x,) ̀(y,) ̀) of another frame. For further work, multiple of moving object environment have been taken consideration for developing algorithms.

Audible Tool for Color Identification Using Arduino UNO 声音工具的颜色识别使用Arduino UNO

This hardware tool is designed for assistance and training for visually impaired people to identify the surrounding colored objects. Several researches are conducted all over the world to design advanced, reliable tool and techniques to support sightless individuals. This paper describes designing of a handheld device to assist visually impaired people for color identification via generated speech. Vision is one of the five senses which is essential for a human being to survive independently. All individuals acquire the external information through the visual coding entering into the eye. The light rays penetrate and stimulate vision receptors to execute the processing of image formation. In response, the brain is able to identify the object. Unfortunately, any accidents or visual disorders with age can restrict the ability to sight the external environment. A visually impaired person can identify the texture, shape and size of an object by touching. But the sense of touch does not permit color identification. This proposed wearable tool, aid mainly focuses on individuals who are unable to observe colors due to visual disorder. A hardware device is presented which generates the speech for color detection. In this proposed work RGB sensor is used to capture the color information of the entity. An Arduino UNO card is programmed using Arduino software 1.6.3 to enhance the signal. It generates a clear audible speech for the specific color of the object. The benefit of this device is low power battery operated, portable, safe and easy to handle.

3D VIEW: Designing of a Deception from Distorted View-dependent Images and Explaining interaction with virtual World 三维视图:扭曲视依赖图像的欺骗设计及与虚拟世界交互的解释

This paper presents an intuitive and interactive computer simulated augmented reality interface that gives the illusion of a 3D immersive environment. The projector displays a rendered virtual scene on a flat 2D surface (floor or table) based on the user’s viewpoint to create a head coupled perspective. The projected image is view-dependent which changes and deforms relative to user’s position in space. The nature of perspective projection is distorted and anamorphic such that the deformations in the image give an illusion of a virtual three dimensional holographic scene in which the objects are popping out or floating above the projection plane like real 3D objects. Also, the user can manipulate and interact with 3D objects in a virtual environment by controlling the position and orientation of 3D models, interacting with GUI incorporated in virtual scene and can view, move, manipulate and observe the details of objects from any angle naturally by using his hands. The head and hand tracking is achieved by a low cost 3D depth sensor ‘Kinect’. We describe the implementation of the system in OpenGL and Unity3D game engine. Stereoscopic 3D along with other enhancements are also introduced which further improves the 3D perception. The approach does not require head mounted displays or expensive 3D hologram projectors as it is based on perspective projection technique. Our experiments show the potential of the system providing users a powerful, realistic illusion of 3D.

Travel Accessibility Criterion of Urban Commuters: Evidence from Hyderabad, Pakistan 城市通勤者的可达性标准:来自巴基斯坦海得拉巴的证据

Travel accessibility is a crucial factor in examining travel and transportation services. However, lack of suitable transportation facilities often severely affects the daily working schedule of the local inhabitants. Thus, this study aimed to record and examine the accessibility criterion of the commuters of Hyderabad, Pakistan. The data were randomly procured with the help of a questionnaire survey. Total 384 questionnaires were filled from the study to record the accessibility parameter of the local inhabitants. Correlation and frequency tests were performed to analyze data. It was found that local inhabitants in Hyderabad were facing accessibility problems and struggled to reach their destinations efficiently. This study can assist the development authority and traffic department of Hyderabad in formulating relevant policies to mitigate the accessibility problems.

Real-Time Protocols For Communication and Collaboration Environments in Telemedical Applications 远程医疗应用中通信和协作环境的实时协议

World is now moving in the era of high information and communication technology. Under the term telemedicine and tele-cooperation research series are carried out presently, intended to enable and expand a distributed, group-related cooperative work within the area of medicine. For this purpose, applications are needed, which support real-time control processes, distributed applications, communication and cooperation technology, and the representation of shared information and data. Real-Time Protocols are the basis of telemedical applications. They are needed in almost all fields of telemedicine reaching from communication transmission to reliable data transfer. In a telemedical system, how these real-time protocols are used for communications, collaboration with telemedicine applications is worth to be explored and has been discussed in this research article along with the challenges of real-time applications and their solutions by using real-time protocols.

Piece-wise Linear Fuzzy Sliding Mode Controller for Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV) 深潜救援船分段线性模糊滑模控制

The paper aims to present the design and performance of a single input fuzzy sliding mode controller (SIFSMC) to control the motion of deep submergence rescue vehicle (DSRV). The proposed controller uses the linear single dimension rule base where as the conventional fuzzy sliding mode controllers (CFSMC) uses the two-dimensional rule base. Moreover, the proposed controller does not merely depend on the DSRV exact mathematical model unlike that of the linear controllers. Using SIFSMC, the number of rules governs are also greatly reduced in comparison with the CFSMC, without compromising the overall performance. The robustness, equivalency and efficacy of proposed idea is illustrated through the simulation results using a marine system simulator in MATLAB/Simulink® environment. The main objective of the paper is to compare CFSMC and SIFSMC for UUV’s. Consequently, a comparative analysis of proposed SIFSMC is shown with the CFSMC for the same system of DSRV.

Performance Evaluation of MRMED Algorithm by Monitoring BER 监测误码率的MRMED算法性能评价

In this research work, we have developed a communication system (transmitter / receiver) to control peak to average power (PAPR) with  small bit error rate (BER) for a 4G system called multicode code division multiple access (MCCDMA). Proposed communication system works on modified Reed Muller encoded data (MRMED) string. In MRMED data is first encoded with Reed Muller (RM) code. Thereafter, encoded RM message is XORed with optimal binary string, which results lower Peak to Average Power ratio (PAPR).  A well-known fact is that, bit error rate (BER) is the best performance measurement tool for a communication system. To check the integrity of our communication system, we have run the simulation for monitoring BER using MRMED sequence. Simulation work conducted, with multipath Rayleigh fading, Minimum Shift Keying (MSK) modulation and several orders of RM codes. Our results show that implementing MRMED sequences of the suggested MCCDMA communication structure, returns noticeable lower BER. For instance, in case of RM(1,4), that has error improvement proficiency of 3 (three) errors , returns BER = 8.2x10−5 adopting MSK, at SNR = 12dB. Thereafter, encoded RM message is XORed with optimal binary string, which results lower Peak to Average Power ratio (PAPR).  A well-known fact is that, bit error rate (BER) is the best performance measurement tool for a communication system. To check the integrity of our communication system, we have run the simulation for monitoring BER using MRMED sequence. Simulation work conducted, with multipath Rayleigh fading, Minimum Shift Keying (MSK) modulation and several orders of RM codes. Our results show that implementing MRMED sequences of the suggested MCCDMA communication structure, returns noticeable lower BER. For instance, in case of RM(1,4), that has error improvement proficiency of 3 (three) errors , returns BER = 8.2x10−5 adopting MSK, at SNR = 12dB.
