Separation of secondary surveillance radar signals 二次监视雷达信号分离

This paper describes methods which will be used in the separation of multiple secondary surveillance radar replies. Mainly the A/C mode is examined. The aim of this research is to examine several methods to apply correlation of signal with template to isolate transponder reply. Thoughts are to use a differentiation of signal to better the correlation response and avoid false reception.

Additional approach to the conception of current follower and amplifier with controllable features 对具有可控特性的电流跟随器和放大器概念的另一种方法

Several modeled conceptions of current follower (or amplifier) with electronically adjustable input (intrinsic) resistance and current gain (in case of amplifier) are presented in the contribution. Features of proposed models are documented by symbolical analyses when considering important parasitic small signal properties. An example of behavior of such model is verified by simulations in PSpice. Described approaches allow design of applications without external (in IC case) floating resistors. Simple examples of two functional adjustable voltage mode biquad and oscillator are included.

Time-frequency signal representations are modern methods of signal processing, which can also be applied to test the homogeneity of the Poisson process. They can therefore be used to search for an unconventional reliability growth model (RGM) of electronic systems. In this paper we will present an approach to searching for unconventional reliability growth models of electronic system by testing the homogeneity of the Poisson process in its time-frequency representation.

Energy demands of 802.15.4/ZigBee communication with IRIS sensor motes 802.15.4/ZigBee与IRIS传感器通信的能量需求

Limited energy sources of nodes in wireless sensor networks require a careful consideration of energy consumption of all processes during the sensors deployment. To analyze energy consumption and to predict a lifetime of a network, a comprehensive energy model based on commercial products is necessary. Therefore, we have focused on the analysis of energy consumption during RF communication with particular 802.15.4 compliant nodes. We have designed experimental testbed and explored the scenario of node association and data transmission. For the measurement we used IRIS sensor nodes with 802.15.4/Zigbee protocol stack and shunt connection. The results show that energy consumption cannot be calculated only from datasheet values of current drain and length of a packet but intervals of listening and waiting between transmissions play important role as well.

Comparison of the efficiency of turbo codes with different number of states 不同状态数的turbo码效率比较

The paper presents the construction of encoders and decoders turbo codes with different number of states. Simulation results of the transmission quality of turbo codes were presented. Decoders for turbo codes have been tested with a fixed number of iterations and with mechanisms that reduce the number of iterations. The data were transmitted in an Outdoor to Indoor & Pedestrian B environment for a data rate of 384 kbps. The SOVA algorithm was used for turbo decoders.

Correction of artifacts in diffusion-weighted MR images 弥散加权MR图像伪影的校正

The authors describe the techniques for measuring diffusion coefficients and creating DWI and DTI images. In order to increase the accuracy of diffusion coefficient measurement, it is necessary to eliminate the influence of artifacts such as the influence of magnetic field inhomogeneity, eddy currents, or temperature. For these artifact sources, the article presents experimental detection of the magnitude of errors, which is realized using the three measurements method, and proposes correction possibilities. The results are compared with diffusion measurements at different sizes of 6-factors.

Object localization in medical images 医学图像中的目标定位

This paper is focused on localization of objects in medical images. A novel improvement of an existing method for localization of artery in longitudinal ultrasound B-mode scan is proposed in the paper. The localization is based on a classification of pixels according to image information in their neighborhood. To suppress misclassified points, a novel RANSAC based method is proposed. This method is able to find the most appropriate mathematical model of depicted common carotid artery (CCA) on the basis of previous classification. The proposed RANSAC based method with its mathematical footing is described in detail and the results of method within the algorithm for localization of artery are enclosed. By using the proposed RANSAC based method the localization method becomes very robust.

HomePlug simulation model for analysis of the rounding functions HomePlug仿真模型的舍入函数分析

There are a lot of MAC approaches in the power line communication. This paper is focused on the most widespread broadband power line communication, HomePlug system. The paper deals with the medium access control function of the HomePlug system. The various probabilistic distributions were tested for random values generating. We show, that it is important to choose the suitable rounding function for a random integer number getting.

Objective evaluation of audible aliasing distortion in digital audio synthesis 数字音频合成中可听混叠失真的客观评价

This paper deals with aliasing distortion in digital audio signal synthesis of basic periodic waveforms with infinite Fourier series. There is aliasing when these signals are generated in digital domain because of its unlimited bandwidth. There are several synthesis techniques of these signals designed to avoid or reduce the aliasing distortion but they have high computing demands. Trivial generation of basic periodic waveforms is therefore still effective for sound synthesis when oversampling is used. There will always be the aliasing distortion but some spectral components produced by the aliasing will be masked with harmonic components and thus inaudible. This paper deals with objective evaluation of audible aliasing distortion with the help of a psychoacoustic model of simultaneous masking and compares the computing demands with other methods.

Beamforming approach for localization in WSN based received signal strength 基于接收信号强度的无线传感器网络波束形成定位方法

This paper is concerned with localization in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). We propose a novel localization algorithm based beamforming. The performed localization algorithm is adopted for a typical communication model in WSNs involving two clusters of sensors at both transmitter and receiver sides of the communication link. The set of collaborative sensor nodes located at the transmit cluster could be assimilated to a distributed Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system [1], [2], [3]. We tackle the task of estimating the position of randomly distributed sensor nodes and we present a novel algorithm based on the beamforming approach [4], [5] and the received signal strength (SS) measurement. The correct operation of the proposed algorithm has been proved by simulation. The collected results for the sampling deviation of the estimator and the estimator variance are envisaged in order to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed algorithm.
