Generation of FIR filters by using neural networks to improve digital images 利用神经网络生成FIR滤波器以改善数字图像

The aim of the article is to show correction possibilities of digital images, achieved by image acquisition tools built on low class CCD matrices, such as their quality were close to images achieved by high class tools. For this purpose the authors used the linear filter with 3×3 mask, which were generated with neural network.

Novel circuit implementation of the Nóse-Hoover thermostated dynamic system Nóse-Hoover恒温动态系统的新颖电路实现

It came as a surprise to most scientists when Lorenz in 1963 discovered chaos in a simple system of three autonomous ordinary differential equations with two quadratic nonlinearities. This paper reviews the numerical analysis, simulation and circuit implementation of conservative chaotic oscillator. There is reason to believe that the algebraically simplest examples of chaotic flows with quadratic and piecewise linear nonlinearities have now been identified. A special case of the simple Nóse-Hoover system where the chaotic attractor can be observed without the need to set parameters of the system (or all are equal to one) is described.

Lossless grounded inductance simulation using only one modified dual output DDCC 无损接地电感模拟只使用一个改进的双输出DDCC

In this work, we present a new topology for realizing a grounded inductor employing only a single current conveyor (CC), called modified dual-output differential difference current conveyor (MDO-DDCC), and a minimum number of passive components, two resistors, and one grounded capacitor. The non-ideality effects of the active element on the simulated inductor are investigated. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed grounded inductance simulator, it is used to construct a parallel resonant circuit. Simulation results are given to confirm the theoretical analysis.

Analysis of high-level features for vocal emotion recognition 语音情感识别的高级特征分析

The paper deals with the vocal emotion recognition which is a very important task for several applications in the field of human-machine interaction. There is a plenty of algorithms proposed up to date for this purpose that exploit different types of features and classifiers. Our previous work showed that high-level features perform very well in terms of emotion classification from speech. However, little attention has been paid so far to the statistical analysis of these features. For this reason the presented paper mainly focuses on the emotion recognition by using only high-level features. Two different emotional speech corpora were exploited in our experiments, namely the Berlin Database of Emotional Speech and the COST2102 Italian Database of Emotional Speech. Results showed that the best high-level features in terms of high discriminative power strongly differ among the databases considered on the first hand and among the emotions within each database on the second hand.

Two way clustering of microarray data using a hybrid approach 使用混合方法的微阵列数据的双向聚类

The Microarray technique is rather powerful, as it allows to test up thousands of genes at a time, but this produces an overwhelming set of data files containing huge amounts of data, which is quite difficult to pre-process, separate, classify and correlate for interesting conclusions to be extracted. Modern machine learning, data mining and clustering techniques based on information theory, are needed to read and interpret the information contents buried in those large data sets. Independent Component Analysis method can be used to correct the data affected by corruption processes or to filter the uncorrectable one and then clustering methods can group similar genes or classify samples. In this paper a hybrid approach is used to obtain a two way unsupervised clustering for a corrected microarray data.

An eigenvalue analysis based bandwidth selection method for curve reconstruction from noisy point clouds 基于特征值分析的噪声点云曲线重构带宽选择方法

In this paper, we propose an eigenvalue analysis based bandwidth selection method for fitting curves to noisy point clouds. Firstly the selection of a suitable local region radius (bandwidth) is carried out by using the normalized maximum eigenvalue. Then the regression line of the local region is used for ordering the data. Finally, a 3th order polynomial is fitted to the local data by using least squares method.

Object localization in medical images 医学图像中的目标定位

This paper is focused on localization of objects in medical images. A novel improvement of an existing method for localization of artery in longitudinal ultrasound B-mode scan is proposed in the paper. The localization is based on a classification of pixels according to image information in their neighborhood. To suppress misclassified points, a novel RANSAC based method is proposed. This method is able to find the most appropriate mathematical model of depicted common carotid artery (CCA) on the basis of previous classification. The proposed RANSAC based method with its mathematical footing is described in detail and the results of method within the algorithm for localization of artery are enclosed. By using the proposed RANSAC based method the localization method becomes very robust.

Objective evaluation of audible aliasing distortion in digital audio synthesis 数字音频合成中可听混叠失真的客观评价

This paper deals with aliasing distortion in digital audio signal synthesis of basic periodic waveforms with infinite Fourier series. There is aliasing when these signals are generated in digital domain because of its unlimited bandwidth. There are several synthesis techniques of these signals designed to avoid or reduce the aliasing distortion but they have high computing demands. Trivial generation of basic periodic waveforms is therefore still effective for sound synthesis when oversampling is used. There will always be the aliasing distortion but some spectral components produced by the aliasing will be masked with harmonic components and thus inaudible. This paper deals with objective evaluation of audible aliasing distortion with the help of a psychoacoustic model of simultaneous masking and compares the computing demands with other methods.

Composite RF tuner models and their object oriented implementation 复合射频调谐器模型及其面向对象实现

This paper presents a novel approach to RF tuner modeling, called composite modeling. The RF/analog blocks are composed by analytical models, obtained by selecting, configuring and merging of pre-defined attributes; these attributes are closed-form analytical representations of the analog signal-processing functions (gain, filtering, frequency conversion, etc.) and the non-idealities considered (noise, nonlinearity, carrier frequency offset, I/Q imbalance, etc.). A framework for modeling RF tuners based on object oriented programming was developed using this method. It enables the development of well-structured yet fully scalable and re-configurable models — thus easy to maintain and refine further, by adding new features; also, the class hierarchy for object oriented implementation is given. The usefulness and flexibility of the proposed approach is demonstrated by an example, the modeling and analysis of a DVB-H tuner for both passband and equivalent baseband simulation.

The first one is the n-D complex analytic signal with a single-orthant spectrum defined as the extension of the 1-D Gabor's analytic signal. The second one is the n-D hypercomplex analytic signal defined in Clifford and Cayley-Dickson algebras. Their signal-domain and frequency-domain definitions are presented and compared. Some relations between the spectra in 2-D and 3-D hypercomplex domains are presented. The paper is illustrated with the example of a 2-D separable Cauchy pulse.
