Parir y nacer en tiempos de covid-19 en Uruguay 乌拉圭新冠病毒时期的分娩和出生

The purpose of the article is to analyze the structural dimensions of the social production of delivery and birth in the context of covid-19 in Uruguay, focusing on women’s experiences, based on the dialogue between critical medical anthropology and feminist anthropology. Through a qualitative and exploratory methodology, secondary data are linked to the interviews of eight women of medium-high socio-educational level. We conclude that their experiences, care trajectories and strategies deployed, were crossed by fears and uncertainties regarding respect for their enshrined rights during the care of pregnancy, childbirth and birth in the health services by appealing to arguments of exceptionality. This article contributes to the understanding of the cases’ continuities and exceptionalities, taking into account the variables of gender, class and nationality. Additionally, this article also contributes to the fruitful development of dialogues between both conceptual approaches.

Tzuultaq’a: defensa territorial y diferencia radical entre los mayas q’eqchi’ Tzuultaq ' a:领土防御和q ' eqchi玛雅人的根本区别

El objetivo de este trabajo es argumentar que los conflictos territoriales que afectan al pueblo maya q’eqchi de Sierra de las Minas, Guatemala, representan conflictos ontologicos en que lo que se defiende no es simplemente un conjunto de recursos naturales, sino una diferencia ontologica radical reflejada en modos de vivir particulares. El trabajo se construyo con base en trabajo etnografico y entrevistas a lideres comunitarios. Se llego a la conclusion de que las disputas territoriales que se desarrollan en dicha region no se limitan al ambito geografico y de la cultura, sino que se afincan en una diferencia ontologica radical.  The objective of this paper is to argue that the territorial conflicts that affect the Q'eqchi Mayan people of Sierra de las Minas, Guatemala, represent ontological conflicts in which are defended not simply a set of natural resources, but a radical ontological difference reflected in particular ways of living. Espacios culturales y museos bajo el estallido social de octubre de 2019 en Chile: experiencias, lecciones y proyecciones 2019年10月智利社会爆发下的文化空间和博物馆:经验、教训和预测

Este articulo analiza como los museos y espacios culturales aledanos a la “zona cero” del estallido social de octubre de 2019 en Chile, respondieron en su operatividad organizacional y toma de decisiones durante los primeros meses (18 de octubre de 2019 a febrero de 2020). Considerados como esferas publicas y culturales deliberativas, este articulo analiza como estas organizaciones actuaron frente al desarrollo de las marchas, protestas y acontecimientos de la revuelta en sus territorios y comunidades. Para ello, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a 13 encargadas/os de los espacios culturales y museos alojados en el area de mayor conflicto y violencia. Los resultados demuestran que los museos y espacios culturales de dependencia publica tendieron a establecer una mayor distancia frente al estallido social, mientras que los independientes y privados promovieron un vinculo tanto territorial como colaborativo y creativo con los manifestantes y comunidades contingentes.

El trabajo se enfocara la corporalidad que los en la manera en que los lideres del movimiento fidencista, un culto espirita inspirado en el Nino Fidencio, transmiten a sus fieles conocimiento corporeizado a traves de la canalizacion de espiritus regionales. Centrandome en las practicas corporales de estos lideres, que se mueven y viajan transnacionalmente, y ayudada de un marco de analisis de fenomenologia de las practicas corporales, mostrare algunos ejes fidencistas clave para comprender su reproduccion social en un contexto como el del norte de Mexico.

La política de odio en Brasil 巴西的仇恨政治

The social impacts of neoliberal capitalism combined with colonial legacies have supported the instrumentalization of a politics of resentment on the part of the far-right in many countries. With an ethnographic perspective, we explore in depth how a politics of hate implanted itself in contemporary Brazilian society. With data from a low-income community in Brazil, we analyse the development of the strong polarization that began in 2016, within and between different social classes, which served as the basis for a notable electoral victory by the far-right.
