교회기록물은 종교적 의미와 역사 문화적 가치, 교회의 효율적 운영을 위해 잘 관리되어야 한다. 그러나 교회 기록의 가치와 기록관 역할에 대한 인식 부족으로 기록관리 업무에 대한 이해와 협조 , 예산과 인력 지원 등을 받기가 어려운 환경이다. 이러한 현실을 감안하여 본 연구는 개신교 기록관의 서비스 사례 조사와 새문안교회 기록관의 현황 분석 , 이용자 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 새문안교회를 중심으로 한 개신교 기록관 운영 활성화 방안을 환경 , 서비스, 역할 측면에서 제시하였다. 교회기록관의 교육, 전시, 출판, 홍보 등의 서비스는 기록관의 역할과 필요성을 재조명하고 모기관인 교회에서 필수적 기관으로 자리매김하도록 할 것이다.주제어: 종교 기록, 개신교 기록관, 교회 기록, 기록정보서비스

Archives should promote services to users using various outreach service methods. Although the archives` tour program is one of the effective means of services, there has been few studies on the archival tour program. This study investigated archival tour programs and tried to suggest a desirable tour program, with the Korean Presidential Archives as a case. For this study, four U.S. Presidential Libraries` tour programs were investigated and analyzed. Also, tour programs offered in similar organizations in Korea, such as Kim Daejung Library, Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and National Library of Korea, were analyzed. Current tour programs offered by the Korean Presidential Archives were also analyzed and some limitations were identified. Based on the characteristics of the Korean Presidential Archives, which will be moved to independent building in Sejong City soon, desirable direction to organize tour programs for various user groups were suggested.

Archives have historical and academic values. That is why the study of preservation conditions and the environment for the effective management of various records progress. However, materials such as paper and adhesives will inevitably cause biological damages. These damages spread into the inner side of archives, which would make it impossible to recover. For example, archival records from Malaysia and Oman are easily exposed to biological damage because of these countries` hot and humid climate. As such, once records are damaged, disinfection operations are customary in these areas. Methyl bromide (MeBr) and ethylene oxide (EtO) were used in the disinfection process as they showed good insecticidal effect. However their antibacterial effect are negligible. As such, the need for an environmental-friendly fumigator was evident. An environmental-friendly fumigator is designed to improve storage stability. Such equipment is expected to contribute to prevention of damages to cultural heritages through its use of vaporization technology, maintenance of a disinfection space (chamber), and self-generation of nitrogen.

This study proposes the formation of education service models using presidential archives based on ubiquitous technology. To accomplish these, this study analyzed various education programs of presidential archives in Korea and other countries. The reason behind the use of ubiquitous technology is to allow interinstitution cooperation and create synergy effects. With this, this technology is grafted onto the modified BIG6 Model, which is developed for information literacy. This study can be useful and valuable in the aspects of education, contents development, and service development.

The current study aims to propose strategies for the improvement of the Standard Records Management System of Korea. Here, benefits from the system and reasons of underusage were derived based on the results taken from the analysis of interviews and answers to open-ended questions in the system usage survey. Issues related to the nine main functions of the system were also reviewed in the process. With this, the improvement strategies related to the aforementioned issues are categorized as (1) simplification of functionalities, (2) quality assurance of records and metadata, (3) strengthening user assistance and communication, and (4) trust building between the National Archives of Korea and records centers of public institutions.

본 연구의 목적은 도큐멘테이션 전략을 활용하여 역대 대통령기록물의 부족한 부분을 보완하고 대통령이 국정을 운영하는데 있어 참고자료가 될 수 있도록 장기적으로 대통령기록물 수집이 가능한 방안을 마련하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌연구, 국외 사례분석, 미국과 한국 대통령기록물 수집 사례를 살펴보았으며 국내 대통령기록물 수집과 관련하여 심층면담을 실시하였다. 심층면담은 반구조화 질문지로 구성하였고, 대상기관은 기관별로 재단 및 기념 사업회, 중앙행정기관, 대학부설기관 등 15개 기관으로 구분하여 선정하였다. 인터뷰 참여자는 총 15개 기관 17명(100 %) 중에서 12개 기관 14명 (82%)이며 인터뷰 결과는 질적 연구방법론의 근거이론방법에 따라 분석하였다. 이러한 인터뷰 결과를 바탕으로 대통령기록물을 수집하는 방안으로 도큐멘테이션 전략을 활용하여 수집 전략을 설계하고, 운영하며, 홍보하는 모형을 제안하였다. 주제어: 대통령기록물, 수집, 기록화, 도큐멘테이션 전략

To search based on the functional classification or provenance is not easy for users, and the key word-based information retrieval presents only simple words matching with the title of the records. The Presidential Archive of Korea developed a subject classification scheme to improve the convenience of searching for various records and came up with a subject thesaurus based on the scheme that utilizes the terms appearing on the title of the records and the terms used by the users who searched the portal or requested information disclosure. This research presents the development process of subject thesaurus. It also presents the utilization methods for records management work and services.
