This study proposes an education program using presidential archives to develop the multiple intelligence of children and the youth based on the multiple intelligence theory and the resource-based learning theory. To accomplish this, we performed a literature review and interviews with an archivist working in the Presidential Archive in Korea. This study compared and analyzed the Presidential Archives` education programs between the U.S. and Korea. This study can be useful and valuable in developing education programs in two areas, with the first area being the fact that the proposed program could help learners improve academic abilities by developing multiple intelligence and the second area being the fact that the program could increase the awareness of the importance of presidential archives. With the proposed program, the utilization of presidential archives can be facilitated.

The purpose of this study is to survey the problems of the record appraisal system based on value of “Business Transaction (Danwi-gwaje)" and suggest a way to solve the problems in Korean government agencies. This study begins with analyzing the many negative cases of creating wrong “Business Transaction" profiles and making discordances between value of records and value of transaction, through data mainly from focused group interviews of six record professionals in central government agencies. It concludes with suggesting a new records appraisal model that assigns the retention periods to multiple entities to solve the problems of the current record appraisal system.

This study is analyzed by examining the records management systems that are built to use comfortably and manage the records of universities efficiently. This paper analyzed the current status of the records in Chonnam National University (CNU), unit task, function, and organization. As a result, CNU has 127 sections that treat 1,625 unit tasks. The unit task involved in education accounts for 85.91%. The problem is that unit tasks are not organized unequally. It can seem to include some problems in classification and analysis of work when unit tasks are even, more or less, in a particular area. Functional classification in universities are also unequally organized. In universities, functional classification in the field of administration is detailed, while functional classification in the field of research is small in quantity. A more efficient records management will be done if work and function about organization are formed appropriately.

Recently many countries have established data platforms to disclose government-owned data that include administrative data-sets and provide free access to the public via Web. This research analyzes the "Socrata" and "CKAN", the most popular representative open data platforms in the world, and reviews functions and their practical cases in operation in several cities of various nations. It also examines the current status of the data-set services in the City of Seoul to provide conceptual bases for management and service of the local governments` data-sets using open data platform. Then it suggests measures that ensure the long-term preservation and management of data-sets as archives for services, which includes the aspects of preparing systems, creating and managing data, providing services, and selecting platforms.

This study suggested the interoperability of authority scheme between archives and libraries having an international authority schemes. First, this study examined the standard of archival authority ISAAR (CPF) and EAC-CPF and the library authority model FRAD, analyzed the similarities and differences between them. Finally, this study ascertained the interoperability between authority control schemes. In each area, Archives and libraries have announced the proposal to develop authority control, but the directions of two institutes was identical by and large. The direction of development of authority scheme included extending the relationship between entities, sharing the records at the international level, and actively conducting the exchange of information within other organizations.

Various types of records and archives would be producted in universities as a result of specialized tasks on education and research by experts. But most of the studies were focused on general areas in a university. This study was performed with the motivation, wherein management and preservation of university archives producted through various activities in a university should be uniform and are in need of increased awareness of university archives. Based on the background, this study aims to examine the importance and value of university archives related to endowment for university development. To achieve the goals, this study investigated the features and types of university archives related to endowment. Because most of universities have a department that raises endowment, this study performed an analysis and examination of the current status of management on endowment archives. Through this research, this study proposed a model for management of university archives related to endowment.

<초 록> 본 연구는 표준 RMS를 대상으로 보존 기능 구현 여부와 그 방식을 확인해보고 이후 보존 기능 개선을 위한 고려해야 할 시사점을 도출하였다. 법률과 공공표준 분석을 통해 기록관에서 이루어지는 공공 전자기록 보존 활동을 추출하고, 이를 바탕으로 표준 RMS가 구현하였다 밝힌 보존 기능과의 예비 평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과 표준 RMS는 기록관에서 이루어지 는 전자기록 보존 기능의 대부분을 포맷변환에 할당하고 있음이 드러나 이 연구에서도 포맷변환 기능으로 한정하여 평가하 는 것으로 축소하였다. 조정된 범위에 맞게 평가에 이용할 체크리스트를 작성한 후, 이를 활용하여 표준 RMS의 보존 기능을 사용한 경험이 있는 기관의 기록물관리 전문요원을 대상으로 면담을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 표준 RMS는 기능 구현의 측면에서 는 일정 정도 긍정적으로 평가될 수 있으나 기능의 이용편의성 등과 같은 구현 방식은 기록물 전문요원의 업무를 효율적으로 지원하기 힘든 것으로 드러났다. 이에 이후 표준 RMS의 보존 기능 개선상 고려해야 할 사항을 제안하였다.
