An Optimization of IMU Sensors-Based Approach for Malaysian Sign Language Recognition 基于IMU传感器的马来语手语识别方法的优化

Malaysian Sign Language (MSL) has been the main communication medium for Malaysian deaf people but only a small portion of ordinary people can comprehend this MSL. A common approach to convey the meaning of sign language is by using sign language recognition (SLR) method. A video-based SLR approach has been researched extensively but still heavily vulnerable to environment error and suffer from portability issue. Conversely, a sensor-based SLR solution can mitigate these problems at the cost of having bulky design due to the number and placement of the sensors required to achieve sufficient accuracy. Therefore, in this paper, we investigated the optimal number and placement of the inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensors required to perform an accurate conversion. Experimental results demonstrated our proposed optimization process is capable of achieving more than 98% of recognition accuracy. This could be a benchmark for a less bulky and leaner design of sensor-based hand glove as well as overcoming the usability and portability issues.

Analyzing Reactions on Political Issues in Social Media Using Hierarchical and K-Means Clustering Methods 利用层次聚类和k均值聚类方法分析社交媒体上对政治问题的反应

Social media usage is undeniably getting larger, Currently, Twitter is one of the most popular social media platforms that enables its user to post their thoughts on anything, commonly in the form of limited word length. The massive number of Twitter users has made Twitter a valuable source of data in analyzing people behavior and tendency in reacting to a certain political issue. Unfortunately, the textual postings are difficult to analyze as the dimension of the data is too high to be clustered. One needs to find the most appropriate method to cluster Twitter posting with an acceptable clustering result. This study presents the clustering of Twitter users based on the most common words used by the users in reacting to a trending political issue. A comparative study between hierarchical clustering and k-means clustering methods are presented and discussed in this study, as well as the word trend or main topic of the issue by histogram and wordcloud.

The Role of Security and Privacy For Continuance Intention: Learn From Users of M-Banking Services 安全与隐私在延续意图中的作用:以移动银行服务用户为鉴

This study aims to examine the role of security and privacy in influencing continuance intention to use M-Banking mediated by the trust and satisfaction of the user. This study required 336 M-Banking users in Jakarta. Hypothesis testing uses structural equation modeling from questionnaire data. The results show that security and privacy are necessary factors in developing the intention to continue using M-Banking. Besides, the role of user trust and satisfaction is confirmed to be a mediation in developing the continuation intention to use of M-Banking.
本研究旨在探讨安全与隐私在用户信任与满意度中介下对移动银行持续使用意愿的影响。这项研究需要雅加达336名移动银行用户。假设检验使用问卷数据的结构方程模型。结果表明,安全性和隐私性是促使用户继续使用移动银行的必要因素。此外,用户信任和满意度在手机银行持续使用意愿的发展中起到中介作用。

A Review of Electromyography Signal Analysis of Fatigue Muscle for Manual Lifting 体力举重疲劳肌的肌电信号分析综述

Electromyography (EMG) signal is decidedly complex time and frequency characteristics. The common technique of Fast-Fourier transform is applied in signal processing involving EMG signal. However, to provide time-frequency information for EMG signals, it has a limitation. This paper presents the systematic review of the concept of EMG signal and how the EMG signal can be analysed which focuses on signal processing using time-frequency distribution. Spectrogram is suggested to used compared to short-time Fourier transform (STFT) and wavelet because it is lower process complexity, high resolution and higher accuracy of EMG signal's interpretation. Besides that, from the spectrogram, some of the signal characteristics are identified able to provide clearer information of the analysed signal. Thus, this paper will help the researcher in order to get an overview of the concept of EMG signal. A further researcher can expand the information to get more advanced in this field based on this concept.

Attract Students Attention using Gamification 利用游戏化吸引学生的注意力

Gamification is non-game context which is adopting game context. In education perspective, gamification able to attract students attention. In this paper, we observe implementation of gamification in learning process. Problem revealed is student disinterest on particular subject. Subject of research are fourth grade primary school students in Primary School of Percobaan, Pakem. Gamification penetration is expected able to shift quality of interaction which impacts on learning process. Students desire pleasure experience. In this research, we aim to generate pleasure experiences. Result indicates gamification able to attain students attention. Learning experience is becoming more engaging. However, it requires to be strengthened in future works. Pedagogy aspects should be considered adopted.
游戏化是采用游戏语境的非游戏语境。从教育的角度来看,游戏化能够吸引学生的注意力。在本文中,我们观察了游戏化在学习过程中的实施。问题是学生对某一科目不感兴趣。本研究以巴基姆市Percobaan小学四年级小学生为研究对象。游戏化的渗透有望改变互动的质量,从而影响学习过程。学生渴望快乐体验。在这项研究中,我们的目标是产生愉悦的体验。结果表明,游戏化能够引起学生的注意。学习体验变得更加吸引人。但在今后的工作中需要加强。教育学方面应考虑采纳。

Modelling and Optimization Containers Dwell-Time in Tanjung Perak Port Indonesia 印尼丹戎霹雳港集装箱停留时间建模与优化

Import containers stay too long, around 6.2 days at container terminals in Indonesia, which is negatively affecting logistics cost and is causing a serious adverse effect in terms of logistic costs for domestic businesses and prices paid by consumers. In this paper, we propose a method which controls and reduces dwell-time of import containers in The Port of Tanjung Perak. The controlled object is modeled as a reengineering business proses of import containers which controls time duration, processes and weights. Experimental results demonstrate the optimization of the proposed method and reduce the dwell-time.

Fuzzy Inference System in Determining Nutritional Status of Toddlers 确定幼儿营养状况的模糊推理系统

The nutrition monitoring of toddlers is one of the government programs that are formulated in the Constitution 45. Therefore through the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia monitoring every periodic always start Posyandu, Puskesmas until the hospital always facilitate the condition. Posyandu Mawar 3, which is one of the Posyandu in Sukabumi district, is a problem where enough high toddlers belong to the skinny and very skinny category. This condition is certainly the concern of the government especially West Java. The method used in this study was the Fuzzy Inference System Mamdani because it was assessed to have advantages over existing methods capable of controlling the balance between inputs with output through easy-to-understand mathematical calculations, Intuitive, flexible, and in accordance with the human input process. This research contributes to the government's ability, especially Posyandu management in the process of implementing activities more efficiently, facilitating Posyandu cadres in the processing of toddler development data, the data produced will be more accurate, as well as Loss of data because it has been computerized. The results of this study can determine the nutritional condition of the toddler in a balanced between the input data of the age, weight and height and the output of the nutritional status of toddlers with a center point of the Crips around-0.81. The Web-based application generates test results with the Software Quality Assurance method with a value of 80.78. This means the application included in the category meets the good standards.

Maintenance of transformator, especially in power transformers is a part that must be carried out continuously. Transformator oil has a functions to isolating and cooling the transformer. Testing the condition of the transformer oil which is carried out in the laboratory from the results of the test data will know the condition of the transformer oil. Dissolved gas identification is a test that is often used in analyzing transformer oil conditions. Dissolved gas identification itself has several testing methods such as TDCG (Total Dissolved Combustible Gases). Fuzzy logic is a rule-based decision making system that aims to solve problems. Making fuzzy logic programs with TDCG method of transformer oil testing can make the diagnosis of transformer oil conditions more effective and can be used as supporting data for laboratory tests.

Sense of Presence in a Virtual Reality Fashion Show 360° Video 虚拟现实时尚秀360°视频中的存在感

Despite the increasing number of virtual reality (VR) adoption in varying industries including luxury brands, lack of study conducted to discuss the sense of presence in VR fashion show. This phenomenological research investigates audience's sense of presence in experiencing Dior fashion show 360°VR video. Riches' factors affecting sense of presence is used as a guideline to discuss the sense of presence. In-depth interview and observation were conducted to six participants representing young workers in fashion industry and fashion enthusiasts working on other industry. The data analysis yields eight main points: 1) The absence of music beat reducing the vibe of the event; 2) The actions of other audiences recall narrative of similar real events; 3) No interaction with the avatar leading to the feeling of being unrecognized; 4) Curiosity about the embodiment; 5) Limitation to see the detail of the clothes despite the closer look; 6) Dizziness experienced by minority; 7) Huge logo patched to cover the stitch line; 8) The compatibility of environment temperature. Findings from this qualitative research may be useful for fashion designer, brands, show organizer, and sponsor to figure out the potential usability of VR fashion show. Furthermore, these findings can be used as a reference for suitable VR implementation for fashion show and as indicator to improve VR fashion show.

Early Detection of Social Anxiety Disorder by using Screening Tools and Wearable Sensors 使用筛查工具和可穿戴传感器早期检测社交焦虑障碍

Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) is one of the mental health problems that occurs when people experience an intense fear for being criticized or humiliated even in everyday situations. It is very important to detect SAD in its initial stages to prevent severe mental health condition. This study aims at proposing an alternative method to detect the SAD in initial stages and to ensure that the method is more effective and easier to conduct. There are two steps analyzing the collected data in order to understand whether the subject is having SAD behavior or not. Firstly, the data was collected with the help of questionnaires, for instance, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder, 5th Edition (DSM-5), and Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS). These questionnaires are normally used to diagnose people with mental health conditions. To verify the data obtained from the questionnaire, the subject will undergo the activity to record the physiological signals to stimulate the responses of SAD behavior by wearing the wearable sensor device. The physiological signals that were measured for this experiment include heart rate and skin temperature. Heart rate was measured using Electrocardiography (ECG) sensor and also photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor while skin temperature was measured with the help of temperature sensor. The parameters measured include heart rate and skin temperature, are analyze using K-Nearest Neighbor, and Decision Tree. These methods are chosen based on their criteria of high accuracy and easy to understand.
