The Covid-19 pandemic outbreak has caused many people to lose their jobs and return to their hometowns to start businesses and take advantage of the local potential of their regions. However, starting a business requires a fair amount of confidence and capital to build a business foundation. This is where cooperatives can play a role in helping novice entrepreneurs. Research conducted in the Klungkung Regency area focuses on the symbiotic mutualism relationships and the application of social relations between cooperative institutions and local entrepreneurs in areas that are members of cooperatives. Based on the data obtained, Klungkung Regency has the highest cooperative activity on the island of Bali. The increased business enthusiasm of the local community is also inseparable from the role of the village cooperative's performance in assisting the rotation of village financial flows. The Annual Member Meeting, which is a mandatory agenda for cooperatives every year, is used as a parameter of whether a cooperative is healthy or not. The Annual Member Meeting contains reports on the accountability of management and supervisors as a form of transparency and accountability for the management of cooperatives to each member of the cooperative. A high percentage of The Annual Member Meeting in Klungkung Regency proves that every human and business resource owned by this area is excellent. Awareness of local potential is also very vital in building regional financial foundations and meeting sustainable development goals

Integral development is a collective and sustainable action, for which the Beninese government subscribes. The protection of nature is not considered as a danger to development, but becomes an indispensable condition for spatial planning, a guarantee of sustainable development. This research aims to understand the inventory of landscaping in the district of Ouèdo. The information collected is the layout of the space, the types of green space, the perceptions of buyers, the different types of housing built, the role of green spaces in the city. This information is collected from resource persons (head of the Ouèdo district, head of the district), buyers of social housing. A total of 150 people are interviewed. The data processing and the analysis of the results are done with the software, Word, the Excel spreadsheet, and the PEIR model. At the end of this research, it was found that 1,949 social housing units are built in Ouèdo . And not all accommodations have standings. Green space is dominated by accompanying green space (65%) and the least important green space (65%) is parks, road line trees and stadium green space. In addition, 85% of buyers believe that the number of green spaces in social housing is sufficient compared to 15%. Similarly, home buyers see green spaces as a way to reconnect with nature (78%), a way to fight against nature (60%) and green spaces very often to have fun (75%), get some fresh air (65%), and recharge your batteries. It is urgent to set up a sustainable management mode for social housing in the city of Ouèdo.

This paper presents a simulation model design and improvement of raw material warehouse layout with class-based storage method at a company, namely PT XYZ. The identified problem lies in the raw material warehouse, namely the placement of raw materials is not in accordance with the type of class of raw materials and has not implemented the FIFO system. The total time for moving raw materials is 100.79 minutes which exceeds the time that the company has prepared for moving by 60 minutes. This study aims to design simulation model and make improvements to the raw material ware house layout of the company by using Class Based Storage method and ProModel software. Identify problems using a check sheet by looking at the actual state of the raw material warehouse. The initial simulation was made by looking at the average observation data of incoming raw materials per month and the cycle time of 30 days. There are 15 types of raw materials stored in the raw material ware house with 3 different storage areas. The initial raw material ware house layout simulation results with a total of 246 pallets get a time of 91.14 minutes. Furthermore, calculations are carried out using the Class Based Storage method and then forming classes according to the frequency of the moves, namely Area 1 with a total moving frequency of 68.21% which is placed close to the In/Out Area and Area 2 with a total moving frequency of 31.79%. After that, 2 improvement scenarios were made, the first scenario, namely layout improvements using the Class-Based Storage method, obtained transfer time of 85.17 minutes. The second scenario is the layout improvement and the addition of 1 forklift and the displacement time is 43.19 minutes. Based on the selection of proposed improvements using the Bonferroni Test, the best proposal was obtained, namely the second proposal with a reduction percentage of 52.6%.

Sea dykes play an essentially important role in disaster prevention. Sea dyke is one of the important constructions that always are noted at the highest level of protection. Therefore, these protections and improving the quality of sea dykes is considered a particularly important task. Sea dykes are directly affected by sea waves, during the rainy and stormy season in particular, so many segments of Dyke Sea have been degraded and decreased effective coastal protection, easily eroded, broken, and sea water intruding inland, causing cause a lot of damage. The phenomenon of coastal erosion has caused serious socio-economic consequences such as loss of residential land, threatened to destroy sea-dyke works, separate traffic routes. In addition, it also causes social consequences for coastal communities. To reduce the above consequences and to ensure the stability of sea-dyke works, synchronous and long-term strategic solutions is required. Therefore, it is necessary to study solutions to improve the quality of sea dykes. Thus, the topic of the research is "Study on several structural solutions for sea dyke construction including wave deflecting block at the sea with large waves". That is also the goal of this article.

Every company in its ordinary activity can run into multiple dangers that can evolve in an unfavorable direction to the company and compromise its development and economic stability with often irreversible consequences. In practice, it involves a complex of risks that could potentially affect the entire social and environmental context if not recognized and overcome. Risks can threaten a business's growth and existence. For this reason, in recent years, increasing attention has been paid to risk management in order to achieve corporate objectives. In the work we assessment center on risk assessment and assessment aims to attribute a value to the dimensions that risk the risk: the severity and frequency.

The hotel employment sector is characterized by a high proportion of women, yet they are underrepresented at the senior management level. Females are disadvantaged in the hotel industry because of the traditional male perceptions of workplace gender roles, stereotypes and discrimination. The objective of the study was to determine how cultural beliefs affect women’s career advancement in 3-5-star hotels in the Nairobi County City Kenya. A descriptive research design was used. This study focused on a qualitative thematic analysis of in-depth, semistructured interviews administered to76 hotel managers. The interviews were used to gain more in-depth knowledge on issues concerning gender bias, leadership styles and gender stereotypes. The data was analysed using content analysis, in order to present data in words and themes, and allow for interpretations to be drawn. The results showed women were fewer at the management level and there were no women who were being paid the top most salaries. The study recommended adopting positive human resource practices that promote a gender-neutral culture in the hotels by providing unconscious bias training for all levels of employees to participate in.

In today’s highly competitive business environment, providing exceptional customer service is the primary goal of any hospitality organisation. Hotel frontline employees play a vital part in the service delivery process to achieve this. However, job burnout is a persistent problem in the hotel sector due to the demanding nature of the work (for example, working long hours and rotating shifts). Hotel frontline employees have to deal with the challenging nature of their job. As a result, they are prone to job burnout, lowering their productivity. Therefore, it is essential to establish possible job burnout interventions among this important group of hotel staff. Nairobi City County has a well-established hospitality sector home to most of Kenya’s classified hotels. As a beginning point in pursuit of job burnout interventions, this study sought to compare job burnout levels in different populations of frontline employees defined by socio-demographic characteristics in all (from 2-star to 5-star) classified hotels using a cross-sectional online survey approach to test the model on 309 frontline employees. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and the one-way analysis of variance. The prevalence rate of job burnout among frontline employees was 30.7%. Female and unmarried frontline employees exhibited higher levels of job burnout. Frontline employees with lower education reported higher feelings of job burnout and its facets. Frontline employees working in highly rated hotels, with less work experience and tenure, were prone to job burnout and its aspects. Frontline employees working in the restaurant department were more susceptible to burnout and its elements. The current study recommends that owners, managers, and operators of classified hotels in Nairobi City County design interventions anchored on various socio-demographic characteristics to address job burnout among frontline employees.

This study is to examine the link between income diversification and household consumption in Mekong River Delta, Vietnam based on the 1993/98-panel data and the 2002/04/06 panel data. The study period covers a thirteen-year period and drew on a framework that conceptualized diversification as a product of household capacity variables and “incentives to diversify”. The analysis showed that there is a clear link between income diversification and consumption, and that household capacity does play a role in influencing consumption. Particularly, results suggest that changes in household consumption over this period may be attributed to mainly two factors. First, the main household specific factor that plays a role in influencing consumption is a household head’s occupational status with a clear effect of non-farming work (manual or otherwise) on increasing consumption. Second, non-household specific attributes as captured by changes in the intercept account for the bulk of the increase in consumption. These findings support the idea that institutional and policy changes which have occurred in Vietnam in the last twenty years have provided the impetus for the spectacular growth and poverty reduction experienced in the MRD and in Vietnam.
