Electric smart grid reliability and stability could be increased by the application of demand response initiatives and renewable energy resources. This study provides a brand new demand side management paradigm for smart grids with renewable energy integration that is based on intelligent optimisation. The suggested system combines real-time demand response programmes from electric utility companies and makes use of fuzzy logic to forecast consumer energy consumption patterns. Using demand response programmes, a smart energy management controller adjusts consumer energy usage forecasts to produce an operation schedule. Using simulations employing real-world data, we assess the efficacy of the suggested intelligent demand side management framework. According to the findings, compared to the load management-free method, total electricity costs and carbon emissions have significantly decreased. A potential strategy for demand side management with the integration of renewable energy, the proposed intelligent hybrid optimisation method of load management achieves superior performance in regulating energy consumption, peak loads, and carbon emissions. By presenting a useful and effective paradigm for demand-side management with renewable energy integration, this research makes a contribution to the field of energy management.

This study focuses on the handling of petroleum products (petrol and gasoline) by traders commonly called “Gaddafi”: storage and sale in Kinshasa. Despite the fact that the country officially has many ways of petroleum products supply and a distribution system, there are parallel supply and distribution. The handling of the parallel system represents a concern for the population and the environment, and even the engines using the products. Cases of ignition and fire due to mismanagement of petroleum products have been observed in the DRC. Many suburbs of Kinshasa, where petroleum products are stored, are characterized by houses built without standard and the lack of security infrastructure for flames; the study has led to finding that the business of the so-called “Gaddafi” is carried out without typical regulation and carelessly.

The microstructure and tensile properties of arc welded joint of medium carbon steel using locally formulated low hydrogen flux coated on mild steel as electrode(s) was investigated. The electrodes were formulated using commercial low hydrogen flux (E7018) partially replaced with titanium dioxide, potassium fluoride (KF) and potash extracted from locust bean seed pod (KLBSP) which was enriched with sodium silicate in varying compositions. The electrodes produced were coded as E1, E2, and E3. The welding was carried out at 75A rooting and 115A capping current using direct current electrode positive (DCEP) and direct current electrode negative (DCEN) polarities. The electrode core diameter size of 4mm was employed for the welding. The analogue Avery universal testing machine with maximum load 250 kN was used to determine the tensile properties while microstructure examination was carried out at 400X magnification using optical microscope N 400 POL. The results from tensile properties using electrode coded E1 and E2 using DCEN had yield strength (YS) of 510.33 N/mm2 and 471.67 N/mm2, while ultimate tensile strength (UTS) were 548.67 N/mm2 and 501.33 N/mm2 respectively. These values compare closely with UTS of welded joints made of E7018 electrode which has an average value of 480 N/mm2 and 570 N/mm2 for YS and UTS respectively. Whereas welded joints made from electrodes coded E1, E2 and E3 using DCEP had values of 262.50 N/mm2, 230.33 N/mm2 and 404.00 N/mm2 respectively for YS and 288.67 N/mm2, 262.33 N/mm2 and 431.00 N/mm2 respectively for UTS. Based on this study, the recommended polarity to be employed for welding using the formulated electrode is the DCEN using electrode coded E1 and E2.

The terms "big data" and "cloud computing" are often used interchangeably since many public cloud services analyze large amounts of data. Every day, a massive amount of data is produced from abundant of derivation, and this data needs to be evaluated, categorized, and stored with the assistance of cloud computing. The quick progress that has taken place in a variety of IT fields is to blame for this massive increase in the amount of data that is being produced. Conventional data processing methods are unable to handle this data due to its extremely large amount, the rapidity with which it changes, and the multitude of formats in which it is stored. Cloud computing makes available on-demand computing resources and services, making it possible to handle and analyze the vast amounts of data in a manner that is both effective and simplified. This research will discuss how on the general concept of big data and how Cloud computing provides solutions to big data by processing analyzing this huge data. We will start by Introduction of Big data, big data Impact on Today’s world, big data architecture, cloud computing, Categories & offerings of Cloud computing then further discuss the solutions offered by cloud computing to big data and limitations of big data on the cloud.

Rengginang Lorjuk is a Madura snack product that has been around for several years and has a role in the economy, especially in Sumenep Regency. So far, rengginang lorjuk has been sold in raw form, with simple packaging, so it is necessary to develop products to increase their superiority and competitiveness, considering the increasing number of similar products outside Madura that have turned rengginang into ready-to-consume products with various forms and attractive packaging. Therefore this study designed a business strategy to increase business competitiveness, especially in the field of product development. The analysis used in product development is Quality Function Deployment (QFD), which will then be integrated with the ERRC Grid (Eliminate-Reduce-Raise-Create). The data collected in this study used two techniques, namely interviews to validate several factors that influence consumer decisions and satisfaction with rengginang lorjuk food products in general and specifically. The second technique is to use a questionnaire technique to 150 respondents. There are 17 indicators used to measure consumer satisfaction, and 8 of them are considered to have exceeded consumer expectations and the rest have not met them. In this study the contribution value is used to describe indicators that should be a concern and priority for SMEs so that improvement efforts can be made. Based on the ranking results on priority indicators, IKM can determine a strategy using the ERRC Grid approach, in order to increase the competitive advantage of the products it produces.
