The example of an advanced practice nurse/health executive pairing up in an outpatient psychiatric department shows that pooling the missions and skills of each can help to improve the care pathway for users and provide support for teams. The success of this partnership depends on the sharing of know-how and a clear definition of each person's role and responsibilities.

From time immemorial, psychiatry has been the focus of a number of associations. Starting out as charities on the bangs of asylum care, after the war they became a force for innovation and the forerunners of sector policy. After taking the medical-social turn in the 1970s, they spread out across the country in disparate fashion, providing local, low-capacity facilities that put patients' families at the forefront. With the post-1968 critique of institutions and the patriarchal system, followed by the AIDS years and the model of militant patients, the role of users became paramount. The proliferation of young peer-helper associations pursuing targeted partial objectives and relieving public authorities of their duty to assist is proof of this.

The Fondation santé des étudiants de France offers inpatient psychiatric care for adolescents or young adults with stabilized psychiatric disorders compatible with schooling. This arrangement requires the close collaboration of a psychiatric care unit and an educational team from the French Ministry of Education. The admission process involves a careful assessment of each case file to refine the medical indications. Despite its advantages, such as care in a protected environment and small classes, it faces logistical challenges when patients come from far away, and difficulties in maintaining external partnerships due to staff shortages in adolescent psychiatry.

The presence of a bar at the heart of a home for the dependent elderly is a project that benefits everyone - residents, families and care teams. The associations that take charge of this place, which favors social ties, propose innovative organizational methods. Here, psychiatric patients are invited to run the bar, a genuine therapeutic tool. Here, the bistro is of particular benefit to people suffering from psychiatric disorders. The commitment of the volunteers contributes to the well-being of the residents and to the success of their therapeutic accompaniment.

The "Un chez-soi d'abord" scheme aims to provide independent housing for homeless people diagnosed with psychosis. The "tenants" are supported by a medical-social team, who come to meet them on a weekly basis to help them access and maintain their home. While psychiatric pathology is taken into account, the approach is essentially focused on recovery. The challenge is to support people in their life choices and to establish a bond of trust, while ensuring good coordination and quality partnership work with external players.

Ten advanced practice nurses are already working at the Guillaume-Régnier hospital in Rennes. As part of an internship at this facility, students in the second year of the IPA master's degree in psychiatry and mental health at the University of Rennes were interested in the dynamics surrounding this still recent profession, the diversity of the missions performed, and inter-professional collaboration. An online survey was distributed to IPAs, and four interviews were conducted with healthcare professionals working with them.

People with mental health problems have a worse oral health condition than the general population. As part of a qualitative study using semi-directive interviews aimed at analyzing the perceptions of professionals working in medical-psychological centers regarding the difficulties encountered by their patients in accessing dental care, three obstacles were identified: factors intrinsic to the patient, background in prevention and the organization of the healthcare system.

Our experience of working with veterans traumatized by their encounter with death has enabled us to evolve our nursing practice so as to better welcome the singular voice of the psychically wounded in a military environment. This approach aims to highlight the resonance between an unspeakable experience of annihilation and the singularity of the subject. The interest of this notion lies in its clinical value, which is tending to disappear in modern therapies, as the personal history of our soldiers becomes the necessary framework for attempting to heal a major existential rupture. In this way, it confers an ethical value on treatment, by respecting the symptoms of these soldiers through their specific experiences. Every war has its share of suffering, but every soldier has his own war and his own unique story.
