The basic as well as desirable needs of a person for decent survival in today’s materialistic and globalised world demand corresponding financial resources in hand. Irrespective of the profession and societal strata, individuals have their own financial aspirations and challenges. Financial literacy enables a person with understanding of financial terms and concepts besides imbibing skills, consciousness, talent and attitude to take important financial decisions. Military service having peculiar service conditions and limited exposure to financial field further makes it imperative to study the subject for inclusivity as very few studies have looked into financial issues pertaining to military personnel. The main aim of this research paper is to ascertain financial literacy of Commissioned Officers of Indian Army. For the study, 133 serving Commissioned Officers of Indian Army of varying age and length of service constituted the sample. Non-Probability technique of selecting sample has been used for the study wherein Purposive sampling is used to draw responses from the sample units. A structured questionnaire was developed to collect Primary data from serving Commissioned Officers of Indian Army. Detailed analysis has been carried out for the collected data using various tools and techniques in Microsoft Excel and SPSS. The study has brought out that financial literacy levels of serving commissioned officers of Indian Army are high. Though the demographic variables and financial literacy levels of Indian Army officers are not statistically associated, however overall high levels of financial literacy indicate their maturity of thought and quest for learning. Overall, the study outcomes indicate a healthy state for the organization and the Nation in terms of financial literacy of serving Commissioned Officers of Indian Army with respect to personal financial planning.

There is quite a long history in Nigeria of Geothermal energy exploration. Geothermal energy resources are available in every part of Nigeria beneath the subsurface. The resources, however, vary in concentration in all the geological parts of the country. This paper reviewed the prospects of geothermal energy exploration by using the potential field (magnetic and gravity) technique for the exploration activities. The potential field data is capable to provide information on the subsurface structures after some filtering techniques (in case of magnetic) or data corrections (in case of gravity) have been applied to the raw field data. The processed data is capable to scan the lateral and vertical extent of anomalous zones beneath the surface. Geothermal energy, if properly exploited would contribute to the generation of clean energy in Nigeria for domestic and industrial purpose.

Topical Fungal Infections are the most common types of skin infections. Nearly a billion people are suffering from fungal infections of different types. Early accurate diagnosis and treatments may lead to complete cure of such infections, which if left untreated may lead to deadly results. Our current Research topic includes designing of antifungal emulgels that contain oil base which already has proven its efficacy against fungal infections and Fluconazole as the main active ingredients. Three oils were selected namely Tea tree oil, Neem oil and Lemon grass oil. To enhance the efficacy of BCS class II drug fluconazole, solid dispersions of the drug were prepared(F1-F6). Twelve formulations (EGF1-EGF12) containing various combination of oils, gelling agents, API, Aloe vera gel were prepared. Which were then evaluated and characterized for properties like drug content, Rheological study, spread ability, Drug release, pH, stability analysis etc. Among all the formulations EGF2 and EGF5 showed optimum results for drug content and drug release kinetics. The Best selected formulations were then compared with marketed gel formulation of Fluconazole and were kept for stability study analysis. Preformulation studies of the drug, preparation of solid dispersions, incorporation of these solid dispersions into emulgels and characterization of prepared emulgels by comparing with marketed formulations are the main key points of our Research work.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) warrants extensive surgical resection of the affected areas of the oral cavity which takes a tremendous toll on the patient’s functioning, aesthetic as well as social confidence. Replacement of such a large number of teeth along with portions of the alveolar ridge and mucosa warrants exuberant planning to ensure a satisfactory outcome in terms of function and patient comfort. The present case report describes one such case of OSCC that was treated with partial mandibular resection and had a large mandibular defect that was rehabilitated by means of a prosthesis using an interdisciplinary approach.

In an ever-evolving technological landscape, addressing the performance challenges of real-time communication protocols is crucial. Real-time communication, facilitated by streaming media protocols, utilizes peer-to-peer or client-server models to enhance Quality of Service (QoS). WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) stands as a widely adopted, browser-based, open-source, peer-to-peer protocol, offering real-time media transmission through JavaScript APIs without third-party plugins. This paper presents an in-depth performance evaluation of a WebRTC-based video conferencing system using Socket.io services on a Node.js server. Our research expands on recent studies by introducing a comprehensive set of performance parameters, including Processing delay, CPU Utilization, Latency, Jitter, and Packet Loss, and packet delay. Our findings indicate that WebRTC performs exceptionally well within specific latency thresholds. However, scalability concerns emerge when a large number of clients are introduced, especially in bandwidth-constrained environments.

This review provides an overview of the honey bee (Apis mellifera) which is one of the most important pollinators for agriculture and ecosystems, considered a critical yet fragile contributor to world biodiversity and food security among the countless species facing unprecedented challenges due to uneven climate drivers. Scientists are concerned about the impact of climate change on honey bee habitats. This review study looks at the complicated relationship between climate change and honey bees’ health leading to their genetic and behavioural changes. Further, it also mentions how changes in temperature and weather patterns affect foraging, reproduction and colony survival. This study will focus on the different processes that highlight their susceptibility and emphasise the critical need for comprehensive approaches to mitigate the potential consequences through policy implementation.

The drive to sustainability is transforming the way we live. In the wake of deteriorating environment sustainable and inclusive economy is the need of the hour and has become essential to implement in any field possible. In the recent years sustainable finance has come to dominate many investments decision and has an impact on the way funds are mobilised. One aspect of sustainable finance is sustainable lending which covers a range of activities that play a key role in credit decisions. Sustainable lending enhances and encourages environmentally sustainable practices and hence contributing to Environmental-Social -Governance (ESG) framework in lending. Global leaders are focusing on lending in sustainable companies and projects to create long term value for community. This paper is an endeavour to study the opportunities that sustainable lending offers to banking sector. The paper highlights the global best practices in sustainable lending adopted by frontrunners and analyse the business model and technologies associated with this. In descriptive study the paper brings out the challenges faced by firms in adopting models linking sustainability in their commercial lending activities. Moreover, the aspect that is not only financing through ESG lens but which is more than financial returns are bought into light.
