A novel extraction of polyphenols, flavonoids and tannins obtained from Argania Spinosa hulls: Modeling and optimization of the process using the response surface methodology 一种新的从棘豆壳中提取多酚、黄酮类和单宁的方法:利用响应面法建模和优化工艺

Response surface methodology (RSM) modelling was used for estimation of predictive total polyphenols content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC) and total tannin content (TTC) obtained from Moroccan Argan (Argania Spinosa) hulls. A 3-level 3-factor central composite design was used to optimize microwave-assisted Soxhlet extraction (MASE) to obtain maximum yield of target responses as a function of extraction time (t: 15–35 min), solvent composition ethanol:wather (C: 10–0%) and microwave power (P: 400–800 W). Maximum compounds of the three output parameters: 129,95 mg gallic acid equivalents/g dry weight TPC yield, 10,24 mg rutin equivalents/g dry weight TFC yield, and 76,95 mg gallic acid equivalents/g dry weight TTC, were obtained under optimum extraction conditions of t=35min, C=23%, and P=600W for the TPC and t=35 min, C=10%, and P=600W for the TFC and finally t=35min, C=22,8%, and P=600W for the TTC. For each experiment, the total polyphenolic contents, the total flavonoid contents and the total tannin contents were quantified using colorimetric essays. A significant effect of power extraction and solvent composition was proved by ANOVA. RSM applied in MASE, permitted to develop a solvent-minimized extraction process of polyphenols, flavonoids and tannins, using lower proportion of a green solvent with a shortest extraction time and in the same time to improve the quantity of extracts obtained from a natural resource.

A New Design of Multi-band Antenna Array for 5G Cellular Phones Applications 面向5G手机应用的多频段天线阵列新设计

In this manuscript a novel design and analysis of a multi-band antenna array for the prospective 5G mobile handset was proposed. The proposed antenna is designed on a Rogers RT5880 substrate with thickness of 0.8mm and permittivity of 2.2 with over all dimensions of 5x6x0.8mm3 to operate at 24.25GHz, 26GHz and 28 GHz which is under consideration for 5G wireless communications. The linear phased array antenna is constituted by ten elements of proposed antenna printed on the top side of the smartphone PCB. The obtained results show that the proposed phased array antenna has a good gain, suitable efficiency, and good beam steering characteristics in the operating bands, which makes it suitable for millimeter-wave 5G communications.

Arab Sign language Recognition with Convolutional Neural Networks 卷积神经网络的阿拉伯手语识别

The implementation of an automatic recognition system for Arab sign language (ArSL) has a major social and humanitarian impact. With the growth of the deaf-dump community, such a system will help in integrating those people and enjoy a normal life. Like other languages, Arab sign language has many details and diverse characteristics that need a powerful tool to treat it. In this work, we propose a new system based on the convolutional neural networks, fed with a real dataset, this system will recognize automatically numbers and letters of Arab sign language. To validate our system, we have done a comparative study that shows the effectiveness and robustness of our proposed method compared to traditional approaches based on k-nearest neighbors (KNN) and support vector machines (SVM).

VANET Cross-Layer Routing VANET跨层路由

Nowadays, Vehicular ad hoc Networks (VANETs) gained a significant place in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Their objective is to provide road users with useful services such as safety, infotainment and traffic management, by integrating information and communication technology into vehicles and transport infrastructure. As a result, the design of an efficient VANET routing protocol is very important. Traditional architecture of the network impose particular communication solution implementation. This implementation often fail to fully support the constraints of VANET like topology dynamic changes. The cross-layer design paradigm was introduced as an alternative to develop more efficient and robust communication protocols. This paper presents an overview of the main works that have applied a cross-layer technique to improve the routing function of a VANET.

Beam-Steering Millimeter-Wave Antenna Array for Fifth Generation Smartphone Applications 第五代智能手机波束导向毫米波天线阵列

In this paper a phased array antenna is devised at millimeter wave frequency bands for 5G smartphone applications. The proposed antenna is a microstrip patch antenna operating at 28GHz. The antenna is printed on a RTRogers5880 substrate with thickness of 0.787 mm and 60×100 mm2 overall dimension. Ten elements of microstrip patch antenna are printed at the top edge of the substrate. The antenna array is designed using HFSS software, the simulated results of the array antenna show good performances in terms of S-parameters, gain and efficiency which make it convenient for 5G mobile phone application. In addition, the space between antenna elements has been studied.

In this paper, control strategies of the MPPT for the extraction of the maximum power for a wind energy conversion system (WECS) based on a doubly fed induction generator(DFIG) is presented.The main objective of this work is to compare the energy production unit performances of WECS based on DFIG connected to the electric power grid by the use of the RST and Fuzzy Logic Controllers.In this work, an appropriate model for WECS and vector control strategy for DFIG are established. A comparative study was made between the RST and the Fuzzy Logic controller.The performances of the proposed controllers in terms of set point tracking, speed response, and robustness with respect to sudden variations in the DFIG parameters is demonstrated through an illustrative simulation in Matlab/Simulink.

In this paper, we propose an efficient relay and mobile gateway vehicle selection in heterogeneous VANETs and 4G LTE cellular networks. The proposed scheme is based on timer-based contention strategy to elect some potential vehicles equipped with both 4G LTE and IEEE 802.11p-based-VANETs interfaces among several other neighboring to act as vehicular gateways in the network, for providing Internet access to source vehicles moving in the road. Therefore, if one source vehicle does not have any gateway in its coverage, the proposed approach integrates an efficient relay selection scheme to select some vehicles equipped with IEEE 802.11p interface to act as relays in order to reach transmission range of mobile gateways. Stability, mobility and received signal strength are the main related metrics considered in the relay and mobile gateway vehicle selection.

Morocco's commitment to the development of renewable energy was confirmed at COP 22 in Marrakech, during which Morocco announced the decision to increase the share of renewable energies from 42% of installed capacity planned for 2020 to 52% by 2030.Morocco's energy strategy, which attaches great importance to the development of renewable energies and energy efficiency, is based on four fundamental objectives, aimed at:•Enhancing security of supply and energy availability;•Generalized access to energy at competitive prices;•Demand management;•The preservation of the environment.Among these renewable energies is biomass.Household waste in Morocco contains almost 65% to 75% organic matter, so a very large amount of biomass.Waste recovery is the most optimal waste management solution. It not only eliminates the large quantities of waste produced every day, but also generates the energy needed by a constantly changing population.The objective of this research work is to assess the household waste potential for electrical and thermal energy generation in Fez city (Morocco) using two modes of energy recovery: combustion and anaerobic digestion.The maximum electric generated was 228.04 GWh/year from direct combustion of household waste, whereas for thermal energy, a maximum value of 633.46 GWh/year in 2016. For anaerobic digestion, the maximum electric generated was 50.02 GWh/year and thermal energy generated was 75.79 GWh/year in 2016.

An accurate method for parameters determination of current voltage characteristics of photovoltaic modules 光伏组件电流电压特性参数的精确测定方法

The solar power conversion capacity and the output performance of photovoltaic devices, depend mainly on the electrical characteristics of the cell, the module or the array. Therefore, knowing precisely the current versus voltage characteristics remains essential to perform the productivity as well as the solar efficiency of these devices. Researchers presented several methods, but the precise determination of the PV cell parameters remains a challenge. In this paper, we describe with rigorous way an analytical and simple method giving directly the expression of the photocurrent, the diode reverse saturation current, the shunt resistance, the series resistance and the ideality factor for a one exponential model. The three points usually used, at short circuit current, the maximum power and at open circuit, give four equations for the determination of unknown parameters. The fifth equation is at the point corresponding to half of the short circuit current. These equations are reduced to two nonlinear equations with two unknown parameters easily solved by the MathCAD software. The test of a polycrystalline Pv module is performed in a laboratory, the numerical values obtained give the best results compared to some previous methods and show a minimal error. A study about temperature effect on the all parameters was also made and shows a good conformity with the theoretical models, which proof the accuracy of the method.

Non-destructive testing of tubular Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) by pulsed thermography 管状固体氧化物燃料电池(SOFC)的脉冲热成像无损检测

Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) are of great importance thanks to their high energetic efficiency and cleanliness, the defects of production or those generated during use, reduces the energetic efficiency. The detection of defects within a structure of a tubular SOFC is realizable by the follow-up of the surface temperature during the application of a uniform heat flux on the external surface of the cell. Each defect appears at a moment that allows indicating qualitatively its position and depth in the structure. Delamination defect appear under a low heat flux while cracks require an important heat flux.
