The use of e-commerce has a lot of potential to make the lives of older people better. It could give them power, the ability to manage and control their finances, lower care costs, and make them less reliant on others, so they could live on their own. Using a questionnaire survey, this study looks at whether individual characteristics of older Greek people could affect their adoption of e-commerce. Eight variables that could be linked to adoption: gender, age, marital status, residential status, level of education, experience with information technology, employment status, and income were examined. The results show that age, gender, residential status, education level, employment status, and income all play a big role in how older people shop online. The results of this study help service providers and the government understand how older people's individual characteristics affect online shopping. As a result, this knowledge would help them find and use the right strategies to improve online shopping.

Socio-economic status (SES) is conceptualized as the social and economic standing or class of an individual or family. Socio-economic status of farmers is an important variable in agricultural social sciences studies. While it is often estimated with various indicators, however, these indicators are inconsistent and irrelevant. An attempt was made to extract the various variables used to measure the socio-economic construct and redefined it into a precise concept. A systematic review of the studies reporting the socio-economic conditions of farmers was performed by adopting the The preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis (PRISMA) best practices method and identified 235 studies. Vote counting was used to generate the determinants of SES in the selected studies. It was observed that the precise concept of SES in agricultural studies was not found. Literature Review identified 39 variables in measuring the socio-economic conditions of farmers. These variables were observed, redefined, and relevant indicators were classified into two groups: social and economic status. These include their education, occupation, income per capita, expenditure, savings, land ownership, livestock status, indebtedness, area under crops and material possession in house and farm, housing conditions, social participation, family size, caste, marital status, dependency ratio, extension contact, and mass media participation. The above-mentioned variables under the social and economic standing of farmers could be adopted by the researchers, and policymakers based on the areas of interest in studying the SES of farmers.

Recently, hybrid communication is gaining more and more importance in our society (Bielinis, 2020) - due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social restrictions, people were forced to use remote means of communication, thanks to which it was possible not only to avoid, but also to effectively manage the COVID-19 pandemic. However, hybrid communication is relevant not only in this context - thanks to it, members of various organizations can carry out continuous communication and connect 24/7 from anywhere in the world. A study by Berger et al. (2021) found that before the global COVID-19 pandemic, only 35% of organizations used/aspired to use a hybrid work model, but now even 77% use this work model. (Berger, Weber & Buser, 2021). Organizations that previously conducted their activities in a contact manner and could not imagine an effective flexible combination of remote and contact work methods, now face new challenges of internal processes, employee performance and change management. However, properly chosen methods of information transfer help to ensure targeted achievement of organizational goals, change management and smooth internal operational processes. Therefore, in the context of the hybrid work model, active and purposeful communication becomes particularly significant. The aim of the article is to determine the features of hybrid communication when applied to business development in Lithuania. The research showed that hybrid communication encouraged the introduction of new information dissemination channels in the organization, more efficient time management and increased employee productivity. However, the study also diluted the challenges of hybrid communication: i.e. the adaptation of new employees, the problem of receiving feedback, the abundance of e-mails and the growing social exclusion of employees, the consequences of which could be examined in other studies.
