Analysis of Outage Probability for MC-CDMA Systems Using Different Spread Codes 采用不同扩频码的MC-CDMA系统中断概率分析

Modern communication systems demand proper utilisation of bandwidth, high throughput, integration of services and flexibility. To meet these requirements, spread spectrum code-division multiple access (CDMA) techniques have been proposed for various wireless communication systems. Here the individual user is assigned a unique binary code called spreading code used to increase capacity and provide higher robustness to interference. This paper investigates outage probability performance of MIMO multicarrier spread spectrum code-division multiple access (CDMA) with different robust spreading codes namely Walsh-Hadamard (WH), Gold and Kasami codes. Outage probability Poutage is significant performance measure to evaluate the effect of co-channel interference. System’s performance is initially evaluated in terms of outage probability by varying spreading factor (code length L) L= 4, 16, 64,256 for the number of subcarriers (NC) NC =4. In the second case spread factor SF is kept constant at L=64 and Poutage is analysed for varying number of subcarriers NC = 4, 16, 64. Outage probability analysis for system shows that under similar load conditions Kasami spread sequences outperforms Gold codes and WH codes in terms of outage probability for different spreading factor (SF) of codes and for varying number of subcarriers. This is because of its improved peak isolation and low cross-correlation than other.

Hybrid Approach for Placement of Multiple DGs in Primary Distribution Networks 初级配电网中多个dg的混合布局方法

This paper proposes the hybrid approach for multiple distributed generators placement to achieve a high loss reduction in a primary distribution networks. The analytical method has been extended for practical power injections. This approach is based on improved analytical expressions to calculate the optimum size of DGs and heuristic technique to identify the best locations for DG allocations. The optimal power factors of the DGs have also been evaluated in this work. To validate the proposed hybrid approach, results have been compared with particle swarm optimization (PSO) technique and existing fast improved analytical (IA) approach results. The proposed technique has been tested on 33-bus test system.

Design and Analysis of Optimal Maximum Power Point Tracking Algorithm using ANFIS Controller for PV Systems 基于ANFIS控制器的光伏系统最优最大功率跟踪算法设计与分析

The Photovoltaic cell is considered as one of the most promising devices in photovoltaic generation. It is used to convert solar energy into electrical energy. Nowadays, Photovoltaic generation is developing more rapidly as a renewable energy source. But, the drawback is that Photovoltaic generation is discontinuous because of it depends on the weather conditions. This paper presents a high performance tracking method for maximum power generated by photovoltaic (PV) systems. Based on adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy inference systems (ANFIS), this method combines the learning abilities of artificial neural networks and the ability of fuzzy logic to handle imprecise data. It is able to handle non-linear and time varying problems hence making it suitable for accurate maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to ensure PV systems work effectively. The performance of the proposed method is compared to that of a fuzzy logic based MPPT algorithm to demonstrate its effectiveness.

This paper discuss the design, fabrication of scaled down of Model of Tesla Coil model for the purpose of explanation to the U.G. students. In Tesla coil gives the high voltage a.c.compared to the DC input to the circuit. The circuit was fabricated. The fabricated coil was tested for breakdown of various solid insulation materials and wireless power transmission.

Design and Implementation of 5 kWSmart DC Microgrid 5千瓦智能直流微电网的设计与实现

This paper presents a design for electrification of a remote village with the help of locally generated renewable electricity from solar PV modules. The whole system setup works on DC. Regulated DC bus is efficiently used to power up DC fans, DC lights in the houses of the selected village. Remote Monitoring System is used in order to continuously monitor the power plant and control the power plant. The main reason to go for DC microgrid rather than AC grid is to avoid the problem of losses and power factor. A 5 kW DC microgrid consisting of a 5-kW solar PV array and a 96V, 200Ah battery bank is developed. The system is simulated in MATLAB for a variety of operating conditions and results are presented.

In this paper, determining the optimal proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller gains of load frequency control (LFC) system using Ziegler-Nichols (ZN) and Genetic algorithm (GA) is presented. The conventional tuning of PID is difficult as the system and the load parameters change constantly. It is for this reason tuning strategies has been applied. Comparative studies of both the techniques are presented. The simulation has been conducted in MATLAB Simulink package for single area power system.

Numerical Studies of Thermo Acoustic Prime Mover on the Application of Renewable Energy 热声原动机在可再生能源应用中的数值研究

Thermo acoustic Prime Movers (TAPMs) work on the principle of conversion of heat energy to sound energy which is used to drive engine by the variation of pressure created by acoustic power. In order to develop a system theoretical knowledge about the dimension of a prime mover, working gas and operating temperature are required. This paper presents the studies of influence of working fluid in Thermoacoustic Prime mover using Delta EC software. The analysis indicates that the variation of resonant frequency, Amplitude of the acoustic wave depends on the properties of working gas(es).

This paper gives details/information about economic load dispatch using manual method and optimized fuzzy method. Using manual method, we get lambda ‘λ’ one of the inputs to the fuzzy by using different demand values. The calculations of manual method and fuzzy results are both mentioned in this paper. The whole analysis is done considering transmission losses.

Optimal Design of Load Frequency Control of Single Area System 单区系统负荷频率控制的优化设计

In a single-area power system, if a load demand changes randomly, the frequency varies. The main aim of load frequency control (LFC) is to minimize the transient variations and to make sure that the steady state error is zero. Many modern and robust control techniques are used to implement an authentic controller. The objective of these control techniques is to produce and deliver power reliably by maintaining both frequency and voltage within the threshold range. As real power changes, system frequency gets affected and reactive power is dependent on variation in voltage level. Hence real power and reactive power are controlled separately. The role of automatic generation control (AGC) in power system operations under normal operating conditions is analysed. To study the reliability of various control techniques of LFC of the proposed system through simulation in MATLAB-Simulink.

Motor Current Signature Analysis for Speed Estimation 用于速度估计的电机电流特征分析

The induction motors are widely applied due to their low price and ruggedness. There are several methods for speed estimation in the literature. The optical tachometer is an expensive and less reliable method for the speed measurement. Hence sensor less method for speed estimation is an important topic of research. In this paper, speed estimation of induction motor using motor current signature analysis is done. The comparative study of different methods shows that the motor current signature analysis (MCSA) is more accurate in speed estimation. This technique is experimentally verified on a 5HP, 3.7kW, 1430rpm 415V, 50Hz, 7.5A, 3Ø squirrel cage induction motor using LabVIEW. The experimental and simulation results show that the overall speed estimation error is within 5 rpm.
