A Theoretical Framework for Probability Coefficients: A New Methodology for Fault Detection 概率系数的理论框架:故障检测的一种新方法

A new spectral method that eliminates the need of inner product evaluations in determination of signature of a combinational circuit realizing given Boolean function is described. The signature is obtained using probability coefficients of the function instead of conventional spectral signature. Theoretical relations for achievable computational advantage in terms of required additions in computing all 2n probability coefficients of "n" variable function have been developed. It is shown that for n ges 5, only 50% additions are needed to compute all probability coefficients as compared to spectral coefficients. The fault detection techniques based on spectral signature can be used with probability signature also to offer computational advantage.

Research on Color-Based Image Retrieval and Implement of the System 基于颜色的图像检索研究与系统实现

To quickly index and retrieval the image of interest, the content-based image retrieval arose as a promising technique. Some CBIR algorithms based on color features are proposed and this paper also presents the design framework of a CBIR system and a prototype system implemented by author. Some test experiments are conducted on a fire image database with good precision and recall.

Research on Feature Selection Algorithm Based on Mixed Model 基于混合模型的特征选择算法研究

Reduct finding, especially optimal reduct finding, similar to feature selection problem, is a crucial task in rough set applications to data mining. In this paper, we have studied the basic concepts of rough set theory, and discussed several special cases of the ant colony optimization metaheuristic algorithms. Based on the above study, we propose a feature selection algorithm within a mixed framework based on rough set theory and ant colony optimization. experimental results show that the algorithm of this paper is flexible for feature selection.

A New Kind of Hybrid Filter Based on the ICM and the Improved Extremum-and-Median Filter 基于ICM和改进的极值中值滤波器的一种新型混合滤波器

Intersecting Cortical Model (ICM) has gained widely research as a new artificial neural network. It derives directly from the studies of the small mammal's visual cortex. The improved Extremum-and-Median algorithms can only process the extremum area of image sufficiently. But the image that is non-extremun area, the effect of the improved Extremum-and-Median filter is inadequate. To overcome this shortage, this paper suggests a kind of designing project of the hybrid filter that applied the ideas of the ICM and the improved Extremum-and-Median filter. The theory analysis and the simulation experiments of the image processing indicate that this kind of filter can not only remove noise effectively but also keep the details of the image sufficiently.

Stereo Matching for Larger Disparity Range Using Gradient Information and Adjacent Segments Cooperative Optimization 基于梯度信息和邻段协同优化的大视差范围立体匹配

In this paper, a novel stereo matching algorithm for larger disparity range is proposed that a new local energy function and a new global energy function are presented, which use the gradient information and adjacent segment geometric constraint respectively. First get the reliable pixel disparity, then, infer the disparity of un-reliable pixel from the reliable pixel disparity using the neighbor segments cooperative optimization method. In this paper, penalty terms are used to handle the occlusion, the disparity discontinuity and less-texture with segmentation information. We use image pairs to test, which are still more challenging than the standard stereo benchmarks such as the Middlebury Teddy and Cones images, due to their larger disparity range and higher percentage of un-textured surfaces. Experimental results demonstrate the outstanding performance of the proposed method in accuracy.

Solution for Voltage Distribution in Transformer Winding Based on the Model of Multi-Conductor Transmission Line 基于多导体传输线模型的变压器绕组电压分布解决方案

This paper uses multi-conductor transmission line (MTL) to model transformer winding. According to capacitance, inductance and resistance parameter, transmission line equation can be solved by input terminal impedance method. Thus, voltage distribution in transformer winding can be obtained by solving MTL equation. In this paper, only voltage distribution at single frequency excitation is calculated. Then, the calculated voltage distribution is compared with the experimental result. Because PD signal can be separated into superposition of cosine wave by fast Fourier transform(FFT), research on single frequency voltage distribution has important significance on solving voltage distribution of PD signal.

Tracking Control for Uncertain Chaotic Systems 不确定混沌系统的跟踪控制

In this paper, a novel robust controller based on Lyapunov stability theory is introduced. This controller can achieve the tracking control of a class of chaotic systems with time-varying unknown parameters. Without complex algorithms, this robust controller is achieved by adjusting the robust factor. By adjusting the robust factor, the controller can be applied to different chaotic systems with different uncertainties. By increasing or decreasing the robust factorpsilas weight, the controller can perform different robustness. Increasing the robust factor, the proposed controller can stand larger uncertainties of the parameters, and can track the desired orbit more quickly. So the structure of the controller is flexible, it can be easily adjusted for different applications. Simulation results with Rossler and Liu system ver.ify the controller's effectiveness.

Measuring the Function Points from the Points of Relationships of UML 从UML的关系点度量功能点

In software project management, manager plays a crucial role. One of the most important problems in that area faced by the project manager is to see the project is going to be completed in stipulated time and to see the company does not suffer from cost and time overruns. For this purpose project manager able to monitor the resources and generate the reports on performance and by providing the accurate forecast of effort estimations. Estimations can be done in two ways among them one is Estimating the size of the project. In the traditional systems most of the software experts can claim the sizing of a project by using LOC (Lines of Code). In this technique there are so many problems, which can be avoided by measuring the total functionality of the project instead of size of the project which leads to the concept called function point analysis (FPA). Function point analysis was proposed to help measure the size of a computerized business information system. It is widely used in actual software development. However it has been reported that since function point counting involves judgment on the part of the counter. In this paper we proposed detailed function point analysis measurement for the design specifications based on the relationships of unified modeling languages.

Community Collaborative Filtering for E-Learning 面向电子学习的社区协同过滤

Recommender systems for e-learning need to consider the specific demands and requirements and to improve the 'educational aspects' for the learners. In this paper, we present a novel hybrid recommender system from a perspective of considering learner community structures to collaborative filtering. In our approach, multiple types of information are explored and exploited, including learners and learning items and learner social information. Leveraging the types of information, we apply multiple techniques from data mining, including multi-relational data mining and graph data mining, to explicitly discovery learner community structures, which in turn are used in collaborative filtering. Our experiments suggest that our approach provides improved accurate recommendations than other approaches.

In this paper, we present a novel hybrid recommender system from a perspective of considering learner community structures to collaborative filtering. In our approach, multiple types of information are explored and exploited, including learners and learning items and learner social information. Leveraging the types of information, we apply multiple techniques from data mining, including multi-relational data mining and graph data mining, to explicitly discovery learner community structures, which in turn are used in collaborative filtering. A Nonlinear Control Approach to Increase Power Oscillations Damping by SSSC 一种利用SSSC增加功率振荡阻尼的非线性控制方法

Static synchronous series compensator (SSSC) is a facts device that can compensate the reactive power of the line and improve the power oscillation damping. The excitation control is a conventional and significant control for the power system stability. This paper presents a new coordinated control scheme between SSSC and the excitation system of generator. First, three-order nonlinear model of generator and SSSC are established respectively. Then the direct feedback linearization method is used to make the nonlinear model linearized. Finally, the paper applies the optimal control theory to design the coordination controller. The proposed coordination controller shows good performance in damping out power oscillation and has a stronger robustness. The MATLAB simulation results verify the validity of the offered coordinated control scheme.
