Understanding Code Patterns Analysis, Interpretation and Measurement 理解代码模式分析,解释和测量

This research paper aims to find, analyze and understand code patterns in any software system and measure its quality by defining standards and proposing a formula for the same. Every code that is written can be divided into different code segments, each having its own impact on the overall system. We can analyze these code segments to get the code quality. The measures used in this paper include Lines of Code, Number of calls made by a module, Execution time, the system knowledge of user and developers, the use of generalization, inheritance, reusability and other object-oriented concepts. The entire software code is divided into code snippets, based on the logic that they implement. Each of these code snippets has an impact. This measure is called Impact Factor and is valued by the software developer and/or other system stakeholders. Efficiency = (Code Area / Execution Time) * Qr.

Region-Based Image Clustering and Retrieval Using Fuzzy Similarity and Relevance Feedback 基于模糊相似度和相关性反馈的区域图像聚类与检索

This paper proposes an interactive approach for region-based image clustering and retrieval. By performing clustering before image retrieval, the search space can be reduced to those clusters that are close to the query target. First, the image is segmented to regions by using an unsupervised segmentation method. This is an area where a vast number of regions are involved. To reduce search space for region-based image retrieval, we use clustering based on genetic algorithm. Fuzzy similarity is used in order to compute the similarity of two images. Moreover, a two-class SVM is trained based on user interests to improve image retrieval. Experiments were performed on COREL image database and show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Reconstruction of Real Signals 真实信号的重构

We consider a real signal which has been sampled synchronously and uniformly at two sampling frequencies, the first equal to its bandwidth, and the second to 150% of its bandwidth. Therefore the two corresponding discrete-time signals are undersampled versions of the original analog signal. First a set of equations will be proposed to reconstruct the original signal from the two undersampled signals. The advantage of the proposed method is that baseband real signal transmission can be done by two parallel transmission channels, whose bandwidth is only half of the original real signal bandwidth.

Multi-View Face Database Recognition Using Phase Congruency and SVM Classifier 基于相位一致性和SVM分类器的多视图人脸数据库识别

In this paper, we present a face recognition method based on the combination of the LoG-Gabor wavelets (GW) and the phase congruency (PC) method. The phase congruency feature images were obtained by applying phase congruency model to these multi-view face images with log-Gabor wavelets filters over 5 scales and 8 orientations, and then the mean and standard deviation of the image output are computed. The obtained feature vectors are fed up into support vector classifier for classification. Experiments on The UMIST face database that is a multi-view database show that the advantages of our proposed approach. The experiment also shows that, the system is competent for face recognition, the accuracy reach to about 92.8%, and is insensitive to multi-view face.

An Improved LEACH Protocol for Data Gathering and Aggregation in Wireless Sensor Networks 一种用于无线传感器网络数据采集和聚合的改进LEACH协议

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in wireless sensor networks. One of the major issues in wireless sensor network is developing an energy-efficient routing protocol. LEACH is very effective in enhancing nodes' lifetime from routing's aspect.This paper proposes an improved LEACH protocol for data gathering and aggregation in wireless sensor networks. Conventional LEACH includes distributed cluster formation, local processing to reduce global communication, and randomized rotation of the cluster-heads. The new protocol uses multi-hop routing instead of 2-hop routing in LEACH, and related algorithm is proposed. Simulation results show that improved protocol is more energy-efficient than conventional LEACH.

Collaborative Transport Control Protocol for Sensor Networks 传感器网络协同传输控制协议

This work presents collaborative transport control protocol (CTCP), a new transport protocol for sensor networks. It aims at providing end-to-end reliability and adapts itself to different applications through a mechanism of reliability variation. Its congestion control and detection differentiates communication losses from buffer overflow. CTCP is called collaborative because all nodes detect and act on congestion control and also because it includes distributed storage responsibility. It is scalable and independent of the underlying network layer. It was observed that distributed fault recovery increases reliability and that duplication of storage responsibility minimizes the message loss.

Comparing BP and RBF Neural Network for Forecasting the Resident Consumer Level by MATLAB 用MATLAB比较BP和RBF神经网络在居民消费水平预测中的应用

This paper introduced BP neural network and RBF network's basic theory, compared these two characteristics of the network structure, and applied to the resident consumer level forecasts. In RBF neural network forecasting, by changing the size of the distribution density of RBF, adjusted the forecast accuracy of the network. Compared the two neural network forecast results by MATLAB simulation. From the quantitative point proved that the RBF neural network is more efficient and accurate than BP neural network in forecasting the resident consumer level, and thus more suitable for practical application in guiding the design of neural network.

Asterisk Voice Exchange: An Alternative to Conventional EPBX 星号语音交换:传统EPBX的替代方案

This paper highlights the design and implementation aspects of a VoIP based asterisk voice exchange, developing a fully functional voice exchange requires to set up a server based on Asterisk, connecting clients to that server with the help of soft phones and then configuring the soft phones with the server. Here in our implementation we have connected the clients to the server with the help of IAX protocols. The first part of the paper contains some introductory concepts about VoIP, followed by asterisk's internal architecture. In the third part of the paper we discuss about the codecs and protocols used by the packet switching based PBX networks and finally we brush up about the design and implementation aspects.

CAD Application to the Analysis about the Workspace of an Asymmetric Parallel Robot Influenced by the Joints' Distribution 应用CAD分析关节分布对非对称并联机器人工作空间的影响

Through varying the joints' distribution, all types of an asymmetric parallel robot, i.e. a 2SPR+UPU robot were derived. From the point of application, 15 typical types were found by computer simulation. CAD dimension driving technique was used to solve the workspace and parameters to describe the positional workspace and pose of the moving platform were defined. Positional workspaces, rotational angle extension of the 15 manipulators were compared, the influence of the joints' distribution to which was analyzed.

Greenhouse environment is a special application of wireless sensor network, efficient real-time monitor and control is the key point. For well solve this problem, this paper researches and designs a Web-based management system with embedded control platform. The system provides a human-based monitor and control platform for the wireless sensor network for greenhouse.
