EFFECT OF ADDING DIFFERENT LEVELS OF DILL SEEDS TO THE DIET ON PHYSIOLOGICAL TRAITS OF BROILERS 日粮中添加不同水平莳萝籽对肉鸡生理性状的影响

This study was conducted in the poultry field of the department of animal production, college of agricultural engineering sciences, university of Baghdad for the period from 10/15/2021 to 11/25/2021 with the aim of showing the effect of adding different levels of dill seeds to the diet on productive and carcass traits For broiler meat. In this study, 200 unsexed broiler chicks of breed (Ross 308) were used, one day age, with a starting weight of 41.46 g. The chicks were randomly distributed to 5 treatments, and each treatment included 4 replicates, 10 birds for each replicate. The birds were fed three diets: the starter diet, the growth diet and the final diet. The experiment treatments were T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5, adding dill seeds at average 0, 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2%, respectively. The results of the experiment indicated a significantly (P<0.05) excelled in cholesterol concentration at 42 d of age for treatment T4 compared with T2, and treatment T1 compared with treatment T2 in the level of triglycerides. Significantly excelled (P<0.05) was observed when calculating the high-density lipoproteins for the two treatments T3 and T4 compared with T5. Also, treatment T1 excelled on treatment T2 in the concentration of very low-density lipoproteins, and a significant decrease (P<0.01) in the level of MDA at 42 d of age was noted in favor of the addition treatments.

THE ROLE OF COMMODITY DUMPING IN ENCOURAGING THE IRAQI CONSUMER TO BUY NON- ESSENTIAL GOODS 商品倾销在鼓励伊拉克消费者购买非必需品方面的作用

The research aims to study the effect of the commodity dumping phenomenon that Iraq suffered after 2003 on the consumption pattern of individuals, towards the acquisition of non-essential goods (luxury). To achieve our goal we relied on the questionnaire as a main tool for obtaining information related to the research, and it was distributed on a random sample of consumers in the city of Baghdad with 250 questionnaires. The answers of the research sample were analyzed using the statistical program (SPSS). The percentage weights and the factorial analysis method were used also to arrange the variables that affected on changing consumption patterns. The research reached a set of conclusions: The degree of impact of the variables (economic, social and geographical) reached to76.503%, which considers as a good percentage of their impact on the consumer. The economic effects ranked first in their impact by changing the consumption pattern and the trend towards buying unnecessary goods, followed by the geographical effects and social effects respectively. One of the most important recommendations of the research was the quantitative and qualitative determination of the goods allowed to enter the local markets in accordance to quality standards, imposing high customs tariffs on imported goods, especially those non-essential goods, and control of border ports.

The effect of adding raw bacteriocin produced by Lactobacillus bulgaricus to cheese curd at an amount of (5 and 10 and 15) mL/kg cheese as a biological preservative to prolong the shelf life of soft cheese, in addition to the control treatment, knowing that each 1 mL of bacteriocin filter contains 15 units/ mL of bacteriocin. The results of the physicochemical, microbial and sensory tests for cheese stored at refrigerator temperature for a period (zero) to (21) d of adding bacteriocin showed the superiority of the treatment of cheese added to 15 mL/kg cheese of bacteriocin over the rest of the other treatments during the storage period, where the acidity development decreased by 0.363 compared to Cheese with the control treatment, which was at a rate of 0.547, as well as a significant decrease in the number of microorganisms compared with the cheese treated with the control treatment, as well as a clear improvement in the sensory characteristics of soft cheese, which makes it qualified to be a biological preservative for the absence of negative effects on the properties of the obtained product.

AREAS OF ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE STRATEGIC MARKETING PLANNING PROCESS 组织变革的领域及其对战略营销规划过程的影响

The aim of the research is to identify the impact of the areas of organizational change in strategic marketing planning in cement factories operating within the city of Al-Khums, and this effect was measured using a questionnaire consisting of 28 phrases, and it was relied on the descriptive approach that suits the nature of the subject of the research, while the research community consists of heads And members of the board of directors, authorized managers, unit managers and heads of departments in the factories under study, which numbered 55 respondents, during the month of September of the year 2021, and a sample of the comprehensive survey of the research community was selected, and the SPSS statistical program was used to analyze the data, and the research reached results, the most important of which is that there is weak interest in Follow-up of the change by the departments of the factories in question, and the impact of the areas of organizational change on the strategic marketing planning in the factories in question was significant.

EFFECT OF Artemisia vulgaris L. AQUEOUS EXTRACT ON SOME GERMINATION PROPERTIES AND SEEDLING GROWTH OF LINSEED 寻常蒿水提物对亚麻种子萌发特性及幼苗生长的影响

A laboratory experiment was carried out during winter season of 2021 in the Seed Technology Laboratory- College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences/ University of Baghdad, to find out the allopathic effects of aerobic and terrestrial aqueous extracts of Artemisia vulgaris L. on the seed germination and seedling growth of linseed. A factorial experiment according to a completely randomized design (CRD)at three replicates was used; the first factor in clouded type of aqueous extract for two plant parts which were aerobic (stems and leaves) and terrestrial (root and rhizomes), while the second factor included five concentrations of each aqueous extract of plant part 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100%. The results showed that there was significant effect of aqueous extract types on the studied traits; the terrestrial aqueous extract gave the highest germination percentage 64.67% and germination speed 25.37%/d, whereas the aerobic aqueous extract gave a highest mean of radicle length 2.5936 cm. Regarding of aqueous extract concentrations of Artemisia vulgaris weed, the concentration of 25% of Artemisia aqueous extract was significantly superior and achieved the highest mean of germination speed 27.25 %/day, shoot length 3.98 cm, radicle dry weight 0.0043 g and shoot dry weight 0.0239 g, while the control treatment 0% was significantly superior in the germination percentage 100% and radicle length 2.6615 cm. The interaction between two factors had significant effect on the germination percentage and germination speed only.

SUBSTITUTION OF ANIMAL PROTEIN BY DIFFERENT ATION OF DRIED RUMEN MEAL IN COMMON CARP Cyprinus carpio DIETS 不同干瘤胃粕替代鲤饲料中动物蛋白的研究

The study was conducted to show the effect of using dried rumen powder as a source of animal protein in the diets of common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) on its performance, in the fish laboratory/College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences/University of Baghdad/ for a period of 70 d, 70 fingerlings were used with an average starting weight of 30±3 g, with a live mass rate of 202±2 g, randomly distributed among five treatments, two replicates for each treatment and seven fish for each replicate. Five diets of almost identical protein content and different percentages of addition of dried rumen powder were added. 25% was added to treatment T2 and 50% to treatment T3 and 75% of the treatment T4 and 100% of the treatment T5 In addition to the control treatment T1, which was devoid of dried rumen powder, the fish were fed on experimental diets of 4% of their body weight and weighed every 15 d. The results showed that the T2 treatment was one of the best experimental treatments, as it gave the highest levels for most of the studied traits. The results indicated that there were significant differences (p>0.01) and (P < 0.05) between it and the control treatment T1 in growth parameters, which included the final weight average of 715 g and the rate of increase The total weight is 512.50 g, the daily weight gain rate is 12.32 g/d, the relative growth rate is 252.47%, and the specific growth rate is 1.75 g/d. The criteria for evaluating the diet, which included the amount of feed intake 1765.26 g and the amount of protein intake 577.41 g, and the best food conversion ratio of 3.44 and the efficiency of food conversion was 29.03 % and the value of the protein produced is 64.21% and the net exploited protein is 0.73%. We conclude from the current study that the dried rumen powder can be used by 25% in the diets of common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) as a partial substitute for imported animal protein because it contributed to improving production performance. It can also be used Dried rumen powder at rates of 50 and 75%, but did not reach the levels achieved by 25%.

This experiment was conducted to study the effect of injecting hatching eggs into a flock of broiler aged mothers with different concentrations of the alcoholic extract of Moringa oleifera powder on productive performance of broilers during the period of rearing of 35 days. The study included two experiments for a period at 2/10/2021 to 28/11/2021, where eggs were injected into the Mustafa Poultry Hatchery/ Wasit Governorate- Aziziyah District. A 400 hatching eggs of 308 Ross mothers of modern broilers used at age of 48 week, eggs of average weight 66 ± 1 g/egg were collected in same day then stored for two days. A quarter of treatments were randomly distributed with 100 eggs for each treatment. The first treatment T1 without injection as control treatment, and T4, T3, and T2 (while injected into the space air) on day 12 of, in an amount of 0.2 mL for each egg, with concentration of 450, 300, 150 µg/mL, respectively. The hatched chicks were bred in the same fields, where 180 chicks of the chicks were distributed into four treatments, 45 chicks for each treated and three replicates (15 chicks) for each T1, T2, T3 and T4 were placed in a cage for 35 days. The results Showed A significant (p<0.05) increase for T4 compared to the control in body weight, body weight gain and relative weight of the gizzard, will all injection treatment recorded a highly significant decrease in the total feed consumption and feed conversion ratio compared to control treatment. While there were no significant differences between treatments in the percentage of total Mortality, relative weights of the heart, liver, breast and thighs and dressing ratio.

RESPONSE OF FABA BEAN TO PLANTING DISTANCE BETWEEN PLANTS AND SPRAYING WITH NANO AND TRADITIONAL BORON 蚕豆对株距及喷施纳米硼和传统硼的响应

A field experiment was conducted during winter season of 2021 at a research station of college of agricultural engineering sciences, university of Baghdad to determine the response of active fertility percentage and seed yield and its components of faba bean (Vicia faba L. cv. Aguadulce) to distance between plants and spraying of nano and traditional boron. A Randomized Complete Block Design according to split-plots arrangement was used at three replicates. The main plots were three distances between plants (25, 35 and 45 cm), while the sub plots including spraying of distilled water only (control treatment), spraying of boron at a 100 mg L-1 and spraying of nano boron at two concentrations (10 and 15 mg L-1). The results showed that the 25 cm distance between plants was significantly superiority and gave a highest mean of seed yield (4.968 ton ha-1), whereas the 45 cm distance between plants was significantly superiority and gave highest means of number of branches (10.83 branch plant-1), number of flowers (400.4 flower plant-1), number of pods (28.36 pod plant-1), active fertility percentage (7.10%) and umber of seeds (6.66 seed pod-1). The spraying of nano boron at a 10 mg L-1 was significantly superior and gave the highest means of number of pods (26.91 pod plant-1), active fertility percentage (7.01%), number of seeds (6.23 seed pod-1) and seed yield (4.334 ton ha-1), while the spraying of nano boron at a 15 mg L-1 was significantly superior and gave the highest means of number of branches (9.83 branch plant-1) and number of flowers (400.0 flower plant-1). The interaction between two factors had significant effect on the most studied traits.

The aim of this research was to indicate the opinion of the Iraqi consumer awareness of the risks associated with consuming canned food, the questionnaire was included 20 questions for label information, consumer culture, shopping, marketing, awareness and knowledge as a tool to survey the opinions of 300 consumers in Baghdad, the data was analyzed by using percentage, weighted mean, and weight percent, the results obtained showed that the Iraqi consumer need more information, training and guidance programs in food safety handling issue for canned food, especially in analysis of label information and growing of consumer culture for shopping, right marketing, awareness and knowledge.

The use of ultraviolet rays is one of the methods of treating surface contamination of many foods especially pickles. however, there are some side effects to its use, especially in high percentage oil food products, it is necessary to determine the appropriate doses and time periods to avoid deterioration of its oil physicochemical characteristics. this study was conducted to see the effect of ultraviolet rays 15W on some chemical properties of olive oil when using it to preserve green olive pickles, treated for 5, 10 and 15 min daily. green olive fruits Iraqi variety (al-ashrasi), in season (2020-2021) were pickled using Spanish style, the best time period to preventing characteristics changes on oil extracted form treated pickles was tested. the results of this study showed the chemical tests for the oil extracted from pickled olives during the fermentation stages. the results recorded after 30 day pickling condition for acid number (FFA) for control (untreated with UV) was 1.62%, while the other treatments which treated with ultraviolet rays for 5, 10 and 15 min daily recorded 0.41, 0.44 and 0.46% respectively. peroxide value of control treatment, recorded a significant increase (p≤0.05)), it amounted to 2.59 meq O2/kg oil, while treated samples were recorded 0,53, 0.56 and 0.56 respectively, thus because high contaminants in control may get hydrolysis enzymes of doses of ultraviolet rays in 15W for a period of 5 min daily was the best treatment. a high percentage of thiobarbituric acid (TBA) in the control treatment compared to the rest of the other treatments.
