Taking three educational initiatives at the Museum of Islamic Art in Berlin as case studies, this paper explores how the museum engages in transcultural museum education. While the exhibition parcours 'Objects in Transfer' highlights the transcultural entanglements of objects, 'Multaka' is a traineeship project preparing refugees from Syria and Iraq to become museum tour guides for Arabic-speaking visitors. 'Tamam', a joint initiative with mosque communities and Muslim associations across Germany, develops collection-centred educational material for young Muslims. The paper explores key findings from an evaluation of the interactive exhibition parcours 'Objects in Transfer' within the context of collaborative initiatives such as 'Multaka' and 'Tamam'.

The purpose of this research was to establish the differences in the bilateral and unilateral exercising effects on high jump performance using the scissors technique, with take-off from the dominant leg. As many as 74 participants aged 7 to 12, who were randomly chosen and divided into two experimental groups, took part in the study. The experimental groups had training twice a week for twelve weeks. Measurements were conducted at three points in time, and the results showed that the bilateral training intervention produced symmetrical effects equal to those from unilateral interventions of exclusively the dominant leg, which finding is extremely important for symmetrical muscular and locomotor development, as well as for a practical approach to children.

The COVID-19 era has changed the way most institutions operate, including museums and their educational activities. The aim of this paper is to investigate the types of online learning resources represented on museum websites, as well as to analyse their pedagogical features. Mixed research was applied, while the sample consists of museums included in the relevant portals that provide visibility for cultural institutions in Serbia. The analysis of the research results made it possible to determine the current level of development of pedagogical features of online museum learning resources and to identify opportunities for their improvement.

The inclusion of museums, galleries and cultural and natural heritage in school curricula and the high number of school visits to heritage institutions prove that museum pedagogy has a very important place in educational practise. The same cannot be said for educational theory, as there is a lack of research in the field of museums and education. Museum pedagogy is an interdisciplinary science that combines multiple theoretical and methodological approaches. Bračun Sova analyses the structure of scientific information, which forms the basis for the interpretation of cultural heritage, through a case study of the Knights’ Hall in Brežice Castle in Slovenia. The author finds that the interpretation of the Hall of Knights is based on art historical information, with the results showing that attention is unevenly distributed, and more attention is paid to the Baroque motif of the four elements. The key finding is that in the museum we see the ceiling as part of the painting, but not as the highlight of the painting. Authors Brajčić and Kuščević examine the museum as a space for non-formal and informal study and analyse the indicators of engagement by visitors, students of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Split. The research proves that the perception of the role of the museum among students has recently diverged and raises new questions about the need for further research in the field of student engagement in educational options. In her article, the author Govekar Okoliš examines various educational museum activities, using the example of the Slovenian School Museum on a sample of students from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana. The results of the research show that lessons from the past as a pedagogical activity constitute an effective, lively, and active way to learn about the history of teaching for a group of university students. An important topic in the field of mentoring is the article by author Kisovar Ivanda, who points out the potential of excellent mentors offered by museums, regardless of educational level. In the article, the author explores the views of teachers, museum educators and curators on the forms of mentoring in the process of personalising primary education in Croatian primary schools. Based on the research findings, the author proves the positive attitude of teachers, museum educators and curators towards mentoring through cooperation with educational institutions and cultural communities. Kiurski points to the pedagogical value of museums, especially museum theatre. He introduces it as an interpretive tool, presents the theoretical framework, the sources of development, the use of theatre in museums in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The focus is on the twentieth century. Special attention is paid to the actual use of creative theatre in selected Serbian museums (Matica Srpska Gallery, Paul Beljanski Memorial Collection, Museum of the City of Belgrade, National Museum Kikinda, Museum of Voj

Museums are certainly a potential source of excellent mentors for students at all levels of education. It is realistic to expect that a model of personalized learning with a complex system of mentoring, would yield positive results. The article deals with the attitudes of teachers, museum educators and curators on forms of mentoring in the process of personalizing education at the primary level in Croatian schools. Qualitative methodology (semi-structured interviews) was used in the research. The results of the study indicate positive attitudes of teachers and museum educators/curators towards joint mentoring through networks across educational and cultural community institutions.

This paper aims to explore the use of, experiences with, and risks of internet among children in Kosovo. This country has never been involved in the European project called Kids Online. Through a survey based on the Kids Online questionnaire, 437 children aged 11-16 were surveyed in 34 schools across the country. The results show that over 90% of children of this age stay online from one to six hours; YouTube and Instagram are the most preferred platforms; over 90% of them own smartphones. Conversely, many parents have admitted to being less knowledgeable about technology than their children. Parental mediation and schooling remain important, and the paper recommends the introduction of Media Literacy as a separate subject in pre-university education in Kosovo.

The results do not confirm the influence of the type of secondary education completed on intercultural sensitivity, world music preferences or on preferences for visual artwork from different cultures. Neither was the influence of participants’ year of study on their level of intercultural sensitivity confirmed, but we did confirm that older students show greater preferences for world music and visual artwork from different cultures when compared to younger students. Furthermore, the study confirmed a connection between intercultural sensitivity, on the one hand, and preferences for world music and visual artwork from different cultures, on the other.

Students with autism disorders require various adaptations to the learning environment and specific learning strategies, which is a significant challenge for schools and teachers. The success of their inclusion depends primarily on the attitude, experience and competence of the school's professional staff, the availability of resources, and the possibility of teamwork. Nevertheless, research shows a lack of critical conditions for implementing inclusive education of these students, which is reflected in an increased risk of their academic and social exclusion and of increasing teachers' workload. Schools also lack flexibility in working with parents. The solution lies in ging beyond the ideals of educational inclusion, respecting equity, and accomplishing the social model of disability treatment.

Digital media has become part of our everyday life in recent years, and this applies especially to school-age students. The COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to distance learning have raised the level of student exposure to the Internet, including its dangers. Aiming to examine the impact of preventive programs for safe Internet practices on the media literacy of children in primary school, we conducted an empirical study among 267 students. Media literacy was analysed in terms of the ways of using digital media as well as in terms of safe Internet practices, and comparisons were made by student gender and age.

The article focuses on the definition of interpretive research, which is relatively unfamiliar within Slovenia. Other parts of the world also lack a common definition, and various authors classify it differently. Some authors define it as a research method within the interpretive paradigm, whereas others describe it as a type of research or a way of interpreting data that can also be applied within other paradigms. It is often equated with qualitative research. The article presents its role and importance in research, with particular emphasis on its utility in the field of pedagogy.
