Vestibuloplasty is usually considered for improving retention and/or stability of denture by deepening vestibule and providing attached gingiva. The current case series aimed to describe the technical aspect of modified Edlan-Mejchar vestibuloplasty for improving the sof t tissue environment around dental implants. The technique was applied to 3 patients who had a lack of vestibule and keratinized peri-implant mucosa. A U-shape incision that opens toward the implant prosthesis was performed 1 mm deep into the mucosa. It comprises of 2 vertical incisions that start 3 mm apical point from the buccal and proximal side of the implant and 1 horizontal incision that roundly connects the apical ends of the vertical incisions. Split-thickness flap was reflected on the mucosal area surrounded by the U-shape incision in the coronal direction. Another horizontal incision was performed under the flap into the periosteum along the imaginary line with the coronal edge of the U-shape. An underlying mucoperiosteal flap was reflected with dull instrument and apically positioned so that the superficial split-thickness flap could be placed on the denuded bone surface. The surgical wound was stabilized by suturing, gauze pressing, or periodontal dressing. The deepened vestibule and newly formed attached mucosa around implants were maintained in all patients during the follow-up period ranging from 3 to 9 months. The vestibular deepening with attached Abstract Case Report

This case report presents the cases of single anterior missing and posterior free-end edentulous ridge with computer-guided implant placement on the day of visit through a special tray containing fiducial markers without model scan or intraoral scan data. Cone beam CT was taken after fixing the marker embedded ready-made tray with a photopolymerized resin material by light-curing in the patient's mouth. The implant location was planned on the registered CT data in the planning software. The tool path calculation for the milling machine was conducted in the computer-aided manufacture (CAM) software. The guide was completed by milling the drill hole in the special tray as designed. Although the preparation for the conventional implant guide surgery takes considerable time, including data acquisition and 3D printing, it was possible to produce a guide on the day of the patient visit without a separate procedure other than a CT scan through this protocol. Also, the transfer of the implant surgery plan, the process of scanning and 3D printing, was omitted, thereby reducing the positional error between the CT data and the actual guide.

The treatment of oligodontia is a minimally invasive method to preserve the remaining deciduous teeth and orthodontic space closure. However, it is difficult to obtain esthetic satisfaction, and longterm prognosis can lead to various problems such as root resorption and caries. With other treatment methods, after extraction of the deciduous teeth, the implants can be placed on the partial edentulous area and the prosthesis can be restored. In this case, through the co-work with pediatrics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery, the treatment is established and we achieved an esthetically and functionally satisfying outcome.

Progressive atrophy (PHA) is a rare disorder characterized by acquired unilateral facial atrophy. This disease mainly affects the skin and the craniofacial tissue below forehead. It also involves dermatomes of the fifth cranial nerve. Atrophy of subcutaneous tissue, fat, muscle and osseocartilaginous structures were seen. It resulted in a sunken hemifacial appearance. Although epidermal cutaneous tissue was minimally involved, the tongue, gingiva, teeth, and palate may also be affected. The purpose of this study is to report a case of progressive hemifacial atrophy in a patient taking immunosuppressive drugs after implant and sinus graft surgery. Abstract
