Depression is one of the leading mental health disorders that occurs frequently among university students. Self-esteem and lifestyle factors are modifiable factors that have the potential of preventing depression. The study aimed to explore the relationship for depression, self-esteem, and lifestyle factors among university students in Singapore and Malaysia, and whether individual lifestyle factors mediate the relationship. Participants completed an online questionnaire that consisted of socio-demographic, Beck Depression Inventory-ll. Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and Simple Lifestyle Indicator Questionnaire. Data analyses showed that low self-esteem, diet, high smoking, and stress predicted an increase in the level of depression. Stress was a significant mediator for self-esteem and depression. Findings suggested that those with low self-esteem perceived stress as unmanageable, thereby increasing the level of depression scores.

From the Iranian green movement (2009) through the London riots (2011) and the recent anti-hijab protests in Iran, protest movements have been accompanied by considerable social media activity globally. Social media users have been involved in the quick production and distribution of audio-visuals online with protest hashtags, rumors, and sometimes fabricated information. The impact of these movements demonstrates that social media can potentially play an important role in organizing large-scale socio-political events, posing a challenge for law enforcement agencies. This research aims to evaluate and analyze the use of social media for mass mobilization throughout significant protest movements from 2010 to 2022, as well as to investigate the use of social media as a tool by LEAs. This exploratory research examines the theoretical and empirical research on the use of social media for mass mobilization, social protests, and the involvement of law enforcement authorities. The discussion has shown that social media does not drive protest movements but offers momentum to them.

Elderly-friendly integrated care portals are a relatively new phenomenon that could be a helpful addition to physical primary care, for example, by lowering costs and increasing access to healthcare. However, such platforms are primarily used by younger generations currently, resulting in a “digital divide” between younger and older generations. The objective of this research study is twofold - to identify and analyse: i) the perceived primary barriers that prevent the elderly from adopting and using these technologies, and ii) what can the providers do to support increasing adoption and implementation by the elderly population. It was observed that a lack of serious commitment across relevant sectors, inadequate resources, low managed information technology and financial coordination and care routes, opposing goals and objectives, and conflict within teams are all obstacles to successful adoption and subsequent implementation of integrated care portals.

The influence of human errors on organizations is wide-ranging concerning customer service, productivity, teamwork, quality, execution, decision-making, and loss (Irmi.com, 2018). When the employee makes an error, this may prompt an operational failure, effectively affecting whatever is being assessed. There is a commonly accepted connection between human errors and organizational performance. However, the theory is all hypothesis without confirmation since there is minimal literature writing in this research. Data was gathered from 365 employees of IT export companies in Sri Lanka. 5 people working as project managers in IT export companies were interviewed to get their opinion about human errors. The findings show that human errors such as skill-based, design, quality testing, and maintenance errors can significantly influence performance outcomes, namely sales growth, return on investment, customer satisfaction, innovation development, and product and service quality.

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are unique digital assets that are based on smart contracts of blockchain technology and traded via cryptocurrencies. They became known to the public in 2021 and kept growing rapidly. Until the second quarter of 2022, the total volume of NFTs has reached $12.22 billion. However, since the NFT market is still in its early stage, there are limited studies on this topic. In this paper, the first purpose is to analyze the overall market structure and volatility, characteristics of top NFTs on famous marketplaces, and future trends of NFTs. The next focus is to summarize current research trends about the concept of NFT, investigate the challenges faced by researchers, and provide current data collection or feature extraction techniques that are frequently utilized to solve those challenges.

Although enterprise architecture (EA) is a topic of significant interest among scholars and practitioners, limited empirical research exists examining EA in the context of routinization, use of standards, information technology (IT) flexibility, and enterprise agility. Specifically, the study’s purpose was to explore the routinization of EA and develop a better understanding of how the use of EA standards impact IT flexibility and enterprise agility. The current study used a theoretical lens that combined competence-based theory and diffusion of innovation theory to study the topic of EA. The overarching research question was To what extent do organizational factors such as EA routinization and use of enterprise architecture standards, enabled through the adoption of EA, lead to increases in IT flexibility and enterprise agility?.. The analysis from this study supported the findings that the EA routinization and the use of the EA standards constructs influence IT efficiency, and in turn, IT efficiency influences enterprise agility.

Nowadays, the new technologies offer new capabilities for the tourism industry. New disruptive innovations have appeared forcing the tourism companies to adjust to the new changes and challenges. Disruption in the tourism industry is currently happening and is overthrowing the status quo. Airbnb, TripAdvisor, Expedia and Booking.com are four of the most influential tourist companies. They leverage demand-side economies of scale by scaling up the customer acquisition and providing a great user experience. Their primary business requirement is the ability to respond to new, unforeseen or unpredictable business requirements and customer demands, in order the willingness to embrace disruption to be achieved. Their reorganization of the allocation of demand and supply leads to a disruption of tourist markets, particularly those that were formerly monopolised. This study sought to assess the extent to which social media has been misused in the context of electoral processes to escalate violence and how social injustices among vulnerable youth in urban communities have further aggravated the violence. The study attempts to conceptualize and contextualize the phenomenon of electoral violence within emerging democracies in the digital era. This research is based on transformative social protection theoretical framework. Descriptive correlational design was adopted to assess the phenomena of electoral violence and its consequences in Kenya, among poor urban youth living in informal settlements in Nairobi County. The findings reveal a strong positive relationship between perpetual electoral violence, poverty and social injustices among the vulnerable communities. The strategies for mitigating misuse of social media among youth to escalate social unrest and electoral violence are elucidated including redesigning civic education and participatory civic engagement through inclusion of the marginalized and underprivileged youth.

Therefore, the business processes must be integrated and coordinated. In addition, strategic imperatives have to be harmonized, including environmental sustainability. We are particularly interested in Green supply-chain management (GSCM), which can be defined as the integration of environmental thinking into supply chain management, including product design, the manufacturing processes, and the management of the product at the end of its useful life. The evolution and the progress in technology and the new supply management methods have drastically changed the way things are done in recent industries, such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, the Internet of Things or Blockchain. This study explores the impact of technologies on green supply chain management as a facilitator or as an obstacle, based on some prominent case studies reported in the literature.
