This paper aims to introduce the method of learning literature in Indonesian subjects. Literary material, especially poetry appreciation, is often a problem for teachers and students. To overcome this problem, one of the solutions offered by the author is in the form of a method that is considered to be able to solve problems in literary learning, especially in poetry appreciation. Some of the literary teaching methods applied include the lecture and question and answer method, discussion, audio-visual and content analysis. The implementation steps taken by teachers and students are (a) choosing poetry literary texts (b) choosing learning media, (c) analyzing poetry literary texts together. (d) form groups of students. (e) student work assignments. (f) the percentage of students in front of the class using the media. (g) discussion and question and answer

PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 14 SIGI MENULIS CERPEN MELALUI METODE LATIHAN 14 SIGI公立八年级学生通过练习写短篇小说的能力的提高

The main problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes in short story writing material. Therefore, to improve students' abilities and maximize learning, the researchers used the Exercise method. The research subjects were all 20 students, namely 9 boys and 11 girls. The method used in this research is the exercise method. The design of this study refers to the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which consists of four components, namely 1) planning, 2) action implementation, 3) observation and 4) reflection. The data collected in this study is in the form of teacher and student activity data during the learning process obtained by using observation sheets and student learning outcomes data obtained by giving individual tests to students. In the research that has been carried out, the results showed that students experienced an increase of 90%. The increase in classical absorption in cycle II was caused because the researchers put more emphasis on mastering concepts in writing short stories using the Exercise method. While in the first cycle, the researcher did not emphasize the mastery of the concept. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the Exercise method can improve student learning outcomes and deserves to be considered as material for classroom action research for teachers

Social media platform has become one of the main attributes for teaching and learning. One of those digital platforms widely used is YouTube. YouTube functions not only as a social media for interacting with the world, but also as a teaching media for delivering material. This research is conducted to gain more information related to the use of YouTube in teaching and learning. The research question was, “How was the use of YouTube in delivering English class to the first semester students of Islamic Education Management Study Program at Datokarama State Islamic University Palu?” This is a case study in qualitative research. The instruments applied in this research were observation which was conducted as many as six meetings and an interview with eight questions to thirteen first semester students of Islamic Education Management Study Program at Datokarama State Islamic University Palu. The result of this research showed the point of view from the lecturers and the students related to the research question. The lecturers viewed YouTube as one of solutions for solving the problem of delivering distance learning. Explaining material of English via YouTube can be seriously challenging. The lecturers should perform well in front of the camera while delivering the material. From the students’ point of view, YouTube helped them understand the explanation of English material easily. They did not have to download videos and save them in the phone memory. They only needed to click the link and watch the videos in YouTube.

PROFIL HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII SMP

This study aims to describe the mathematical higher-order thinking skills of eighth-grade students in junior high school. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 2 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Palu. Data collection techniques include tests and interviews. The results obtained indicate that at the level of analytical thinking, students only apply problem-solving procedures without analyzing (C4) the principles that are relevant to the given problem. At the level of evaluating thinking (C5), students can provide valid arguments in verifying the given problem. While at the creative thinking level (C6), students cannot find work ideas to solving the problems presented

This study aims to examine the form of error in the use of Indonesian Spelling (EBI) on paper assignments for students of the Natural Sciences Tadris Study Program (TIPA), from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Datokarama State Islamic University Palu. The date in this study is in the form of errors in the use of Indonesian spelling in the paper assignments of semester 1 (one) students of Indonesian language courses. The source of the data in this study was a group paper assignment for semester 1 (one) Indonesian language courses. The results showed that there were 20 errors in the use of capital letters,    10 errors in writing italics, 5 errors in writing number symbols, 15 errors in writing prepositions, 7 errors in writing particles, 5 errors in writing abbreviations, and 5 errors. On punctuation writing, as well as 6 mistakes in writing compound words. Based on results research shows that students in college students Program Traditional Studies  of Science Knowledge Semester nature one not yet mastered the technique, especially in the use of Nature Spelling Indonesian (EBI) capital letters, italics

This Classroom Action Research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Indonesian and PPKn lessons. This research is in the form of classroom action research, by adapting the model of Classroom Action Research by Kemmis, and Mc. Taggart. This Classroom Action Research was conducted through two cycles. The stages in this classroom action research are (1) action planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The research subjects in this Classroom Action Research, namely grade IV SD 01 Gulang, Mejobo District, Kudus Regency, with a total of 32 students, consisting of 12 male students, and 20 female students, and a fourth grade teacher. The assessment instrument used in this Classroom Action Research is an assessment for work learning outcomes. The results of this Classroom Action Research are the researchers using the demonstration method through the Puzzle media which will be used in the learning process. So the use of the demonstration method through puzzle media on the theme 6 My Goals can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV SD 01 Gulang Mejobo Kudus

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs. Alkhairaat Kalukubula yang berjumlah 123 orang. Pada pengambilan sampel digunakan metode simple random sampling, dengan memilih kelas VIII C & Kelas VIII D dengan jumlah siswa 61 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan memilih kelas VIII A & Kelas VIII B dengan jumlah siswa 62 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data digunakan adalah metode tes dan metode dokumentasi. The problem in the main research is "How is the application of the CTL method in learning descriptive essays for third grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Palu?". While the objectives to be achieved in this study are to describe the application of the CTL method in learning descriptive essays for third grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Palu. To get the data, the researcher used the technique of literature study, observation, interviews and questionnaires by focusing on learning descriptive essays that were connected to the CTL method used by the teacher in the classroom. The data analysis was carried out in 3 (three) stages, namely (1) data preparation, (2) data processing, (3) data presentation. The results of the study prove that the application of the CTL method in learning descriptive essays for third grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Palu has been running according to the concepts contained in the CTL method. Meanwhile, the components of CTL used by teachers in the field of Indonesian language studies in class III SMP Negeri 2 Palu in learning descriptive essays are Inquiry, Questioning, Constructivism, Community Learning, Authentic Assessment, Reflection and Modeling

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai kehidupan pada cerita kemicau burung-burung semesta dalam kumpulan cepen batu-batu setan karya M.Fudoli Zaini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode simak, catat dan dokumen.
