The main goal of this paper is to design full-diversity and outage achieving LDPC codes over block-fading channels under message passing decoding. This paper presents the derivation of the necessary properties of full diversity LDPC codes under message passing decoding over block-fading channel.

A New 3-D PCA Regression Method for Manifold Dimension Reduction with Image Analysis 基于图像分析的三维PCA降维新方法

In this paper, we propose a new 3-D pca regression method for manifold dimension reduction with applications to image analysis. The proposed method is a novel image analysis method consisting of a regression algorithm of a structure designed based on an improved manifold 3-DPCA and an autoencoder capable of nonlinear expansion of PCA for efficient dimension reduction in large-capacity image data input. With the configuration of an autoencoder, a regression manifold 3-DPCA, which derives the best hyperplane through three-dimensional rotation of image pixel values, and a Bayesian rule structure similar to a deep learning structure, are applied. Conduct experiments for performance verification. Image is improved using fine dust image, and accuracy performance evaluation is performed through classification model. As a result, it can be confirmed that it is effective in performing deep learning.

Application on Parking Guidance System Using Surveillance Camera 监控摄像头在停车引导系统中的应用

Recently, global carmakers are trying to develop a stable automated valet parking (AVP) solution to cope with a various parking environments. In spite of their efforts, there is a limitation for reaching complete autonomous parking by relying only on autonomous vehicle sensors due to factors such as low light environment and lack of GPS signals. To overcome such issues, smart infrastructures installed in the parking lot can be utilized to effectively expand the AVP capabilities.In this paper, we proposed a method to generate the parking guidance information for parking based on surveillance camera analysis.

Privacy-Preserving Federated Learning in Healthcare 医疗保健中的隐私保护联合学习

Federated learning (FL) has received great attention in healthcare primarily due to its decentralized, collaborative nature of building a machine learning (ML) model. Over the years, the FL approach has been successfully applied for enhancing privacy preservation in medical ML applications. This study aims to review prevailing applications in healthcare for the future landing FL application. We identified the emerging applications of FL in key healthcare domains, including COVID-19, brain tumor segmentation, mammogram, sleep quality prediction, and smart healthcare system. Finally, we discuss privacy concerns in federated setting and provide current methods to increase the data privacy capabilities of FL.

An investigation into time-varying characteristics of multivariate time series in Grassmann classification 多元时间序列在Grassmann分类中的时变特性研究

Since multivariate time series (MTS), which lie in a non-Euclidean space, exhibit temporal evolution and correlation characteristics, its classification is considered a non-trivial task. To mitigate the impact of the time-varying characteristics and thus enhance the classification accuracy, in this paper, we propose to model MTS data using a time-varying linear dynamical system followed by a neural network-based classification on the Grassmannian manifold. Our experiments on publicly available MTS datasets show promising classification results.

Photoplethysmogram(PPG) and Phonocardiogram(PCG) integrated circuits for multi-mode health monitoring system on the chest 用于胸部多模式健康监测系统的光电容积图(PPG)和心音图(PCG)集成电路

This paper presents PPG and PCG integrated circuits for multi-mode health monitoring system on the chest. Using chopper-stabilization technique and improved noise shaping loop, the noise of the core amplifier in the integrator and the quantization error are reduced in PPG ROIC. The PPG ROIC has a 116.9dB DR and achieves a maximum 92.7dB SNR. Also, Dual peak detector to distinguish PCG S1, S2 peak is introduced. The prototype is fabricated with 0.18 μm BCD process and multi-mode health monitoring system, can be operated as digital-stethoscope, heart-rate monitor, and VTT based BP monitor, implemented in MATLAB program.

CNN-based Hand Gesture Recognition for Contactless Elevator Button Control 基于cnn的非接触式电梯按钮控制手势识别

Recently, with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, various quarantine measures have been implemented to reduce the spread of the virus. As a part of efforts, the preference for touchless technology has been emerging. In this paper, we propose a touchless elevator control system using CNN-based hand gesture recognition. Experimental results show that the hand recognition AP and FPS on the Jetson TX2 board are 81.87% and 11.8FPS, respectively. We demonstrate that an elevator model could be controlled by virtual elevator buttons utilizing CNN-based hand gesture recognition. The proposed method can be applied to commercial elevators as an approach to prevent the spread of viruses from elevator buttons.

Quality Assurance of Autonomous Vehicle’s Sensor Data based on Classifying Level of Difficulty 基于分类难度的自动驾驶汽车传感器数据质量保证

Self-driving technology using deep learning has achieved a lot of research and excellent performance, but the process of training a model requires a large amount of high-quality data and it is still difficult for humans to directly inspect the processed data and prove its quality. In addition, classifying the training difficulty of the data for contextual and functional separation of deep learning algorithm is also an important challenge. This paper proposes a framework for validating the quality of constructed new datasets, which also classifies the training difficulty of datasets, thereby ensuring the versatility of valid datasets and introducing strategies to classify contextual datasets. Experiments on the AI hub dataset proved its quality and were able to be reorganized into datasets classified by difficulty level.

Performance Analysis of Self-biasing Technique for Differential RF-DC Rectifier in IoT Application 差分RF-DC整流器自偏置技术在物联网应用中的性能分析

In this study, the various self-biasing techniques for the complementary cross-coupled rectifier are analyzed and presented for their merits in improving the power conversion efficiency (PCE) across the input power (PIN) range. The core complementary cross-coupled rectifier is implemented with the 55nm CMOS technology, while all the control circuitries are implemented with ideal models or parameters extracted after characterizing the device. The simulation for the RF-DC rectifier operating at 900MHz with a load of 100kΩ shows a similar trend to the literature’s performance.

The core complementary cross-coupled rectifier is implemented with the 55nm CMOS technology, while all the control circuitries are implemented with ideal models or parameters extracted after characterizing the device. Compact Design of 60-GHz Wilkinson Power Dividers in a 65-nm CMOS Process for Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits 基于65纳米CMOS工艺的60ghz Wilkinson功率分压器的紧凑设计

This paper reports miniature designs of 60-GHz Wilkinson power dividers based on a multi-metallization transmission line structure for monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs). In a 65-nm 2P8M CMOS process, a straight elongated design occupies an area of 56 × 610 μm2, giving an insertion loss lower than 0.89 dB, a return loss better than 30 dB and an isolation higher than 45 dB at 60 GHz. The meandered design further reduces the chip area to 68 × 310 μm2 (≈ 0.021 mm2) and it also provides a low power loss and a high isolation in a frequency range over 20 GHz. The compact designs are extendable to other deep sub-micron CMOS processes for development of MMICs.
