EVALUATION OF THE ADHESION STRENGTH OF DOUBLE-SIDED COATED SELF-ADHESIVE TAPES AND THERMAL ADHESIVE 评估双面涂布自粘胶带和热熔胶的粘合强度

The work presents an experimental evaluation of the bonding strength of materials commonly used in printing industry, using double-sided adhesive tape and thermal adhesives. The study revealed changes in adhesive strength when bonding various types and structures of paper and cardboard surfaces, as well as laminated glossy and matte surfaces. The experimental study aims to identify surfaces that exhibit optimal adhesive tape adhesion. Moreover, there are also surfaces that should not be used with double-sided tape, but instead should be glued with thermal adhesives. In addition, the study examines the effect of different separation rates on the bond strength of these materials. The results provide valuable information about the adhesive properties of materials in the printing industry, providing useful information for professionals to optimize printing processes and ensure the production of high-quality and durable printed products. The data presented in this article can assist in selecting appropriate adhesives for a varietyof printing applications, which will achieve consistent and reliable results and can greatly affect their quality and durability.

APPLICATION OF DILL ESSENTIAL OIL AS ADDITIVE TO BULGARIAN YOGHURT 莳萝精油作为保加利亚酸奶添加剂的应用

In this study, the influence of the essential oil extracted from dill fruits and fronds on lactic acid bacteria, aroma profile and sensory characteristics of the obtained yoghurt was investigated. The addition of essential oils in amounts of 30 μl kg-1 fermented milk affects the pH and aroma profile, which is due to the different compositions of the oils. The obtained yoghurts were sensory well evaluated by the testers during the tasting performed.

In this research, lactic acid (LA) was obtained by fermentation from three agricultural residues: cassava husk(CH), corn forage (CF), and sugarcane bagasse (SB). The content of moisture, ash, protein, fat, hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin for each residue were determined. Then, two chemical pretreatments were applied to CH, CF, and SB: alkaline with 3 % (v.v-1) NaOH, and acid with 8 % (v.v-1) H2SO4. Total reducing sugars (TRS) were determined through the Miller technique (DNS) to select the pretreatment conditions that offered a higher yield in terms of sugar production. Lactic acid fermentation was carried out for 72 hours at 37°C and the amount of lactic acid obtained was determined through HPLC. The highest concentration of ART in acid (8611.90 mg/L) and alkaline hydrolysis was for BC (5526.87 mg/L), respectively. Agricultural residues are a potential resource for the production of biobased products, which currently use raw materials of fossil origin.

INVESTIGATION OF MICROSTRUCTURE AND ENERGY-POWER PARAMETERS IN THE SIMULATION OF A NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HARDENED SCREW FITTINGS 淬火螺纹接头生产新技术模拟中的微观结构和能耗参数研究

The paper presents the results of a study of the microstructure and energy-power parameters of a new technology for obtaining hardened screw fittings by finite element modeling in the Deform program. To simulate the microstructure evolution, the Cellular Automata method was chosen, which allows to estimate the size and shape of grains. The analysis of the microstructure evolution on the surface and in the axial zone of the rod at various stages of deformation showed that at large values of compression, the deformation in the rolls has the main influence on the processing of the structure, at small values - in the matrix. With an initial grain size of 60 microns in one deformation cycle, the final size is 2-3 microns on the surface of the rod. With a decrease in compression in the rolls, the processing of the axial zone is significantly reduced. At the same time, in all the models considered, the gradient distribution of grain size is preserved along the cross-section of the rod. The analysis of axial forces in the matrix showed that the forcevalues for all models are approximately at the same level of 5 - 7 kN.

MIGRATION OF HEAVY METALS FROM MINE WASTE ROCK DUMP END ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ON GROUNDWATERS AND SEDIMENTS 矿山废石堆重金属迁移对地下水和沉积物的环境影响

The environmental impact of mine waste rock dump, located in the region of Srednogorie, Bulgaria on groundwaters and sediments was studied. The acid mine drainage with low pH (2.43 - 3.53), high electrical conductivity (1500 - 4400 μS cm-1), content of Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Al, As and high concentration of sulfates (540 - 6905 mg L-1) are formed after heavy rainfall. The content of heavy metals, except manganese, in groundwater was significantly lower than that in the acid mine drainage, and the pH was in the range of 5.43 to 6.62. Sediments in the non-consequential vicinity of the mine waste rock dump had a pH in the range of 2.86 - 4.53 and contained heavy metals and As at concentrations higher than those in the mineral waste due to precipitation, co-precipitation and sorption reactions. An increase in the copper and zinc content in the exchangeable and organic matter fractions was found in the sediment sample. A relationship was found between arsenic and iron concentration in the sediments, which was mainly due to the retention of arsenic in the Fe and Mn oxides fraction. The concentration of total Mn in the sediments was lower than that in the mining waste due to the high mobility of manganese.

CHARACTERIZATION AND COMPARATIVE STUDY OF PYROLYSIS OF LOW RANK COAL AND BIOMASS 低阶煤和生物质热解的特征和比较研究

Low rank coals are not used optimally, another way to increase this value is combustion without oxygen, known as pyrolysis. On the other hand, as a solid waste biomass, palm kernel shell (PKS) is a by-product of the palm oil industry that can cause environmental problems if not handled properly. In fact, the waste is plentiful and not even widely used, therefore it may also be an ideal feedstock for the pyrolysis process. This study compares the distribution of products from coal and PKS pyrolysis, and also characterizes the liquid (tar) and solid (char) products. The results show that the pyrolysis of coal produces more char, while the pyrolysis of PKS produces more gas. Higher tar yields were obtained with the pyrolysis process using PKS. GC-MS identified the main tar compounds for both materials as phenol and acetic acid, 3-methylphenol and methanol were also found in coal and PKS, respectively. The calorific value of char increased by about 5.19 % for coal and 41.12 % for PKS after pyrolysis. The other physical properties of coal and PKS are also improved after pyrolysis. Therefore, the application of pyrolysis in the use of coal and PKS can increase the added value of these two materials and contribute to alternative energy sources.

This article proposes organizational and technical measures to reduce energy consumption of re-heating furnacessection of hot rolling mill 1700 in hot rolling shop No.1 of “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” JSC, such as fuel combustionquality management, performed and presented calculation of energy consumption per unit of production. The industrial experiment was performed there. As it is known, one of the features of re-heating furnaces is the fact that the minimum specific fuel consumption takes place when burning it with the maximum possible pyrometric effect. To solve the research tasks, a fundamentally new 3D model of combustion products motion with the possibility of parameters correction to calculate and optimize the energy-efficient operation of the furnace was applied. Experimental data were obtained on high-precision stationary and portable equipment, metering devices passed state inspection, which excludes the unreliability of the data obtained.

SAND-ROSE SHAPED β-Ni(OH)2 MICROSPHERES: A HIGH EFFICIENT ADDITIVE IN THE THERMAL DECOMPOSITION OF AMMONIUM PERCHLORATE 砂状β-Ni(OH)2 微粉:高氯酸铵热分解过程中的高效添加剂

Sand-rose shaped β-Ni(OH)2 submicron particles were successfully synthesized by a simple wet-chemistry process. The influence of the as-prepared material on the thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate (AP) was explored by thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry analyses. The in-situ formation of active NiO species in the AP/β-Ni(OH)2 system is beneficial for electron transfer in the decomposition steps of AP, leading to the acceleration of its thermal decomposition. In particular, the addition of 5 wt. % β-Ni(OH)2 to AP lowers the decomposition temperature of the latter by 68.5°C and, moreover, the apparent heat of decomposition is increased almost twofold compared to that of pure AP.

IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ECONOMICAL IoT-BASED LIQUID TANK CONTROL SYSTEM TO SUPPORT ONLINE PROCESS CONTROL PRACTICUM 基于物联网的经济型液罐控制系统的实施,以支持在线过程控制实践

Due to the pandemic era, many courses in higher education were conducted online to minimize the risk of disease transmission. For several engineering courses that contain practical material, an appropriate method is required to deliver practicum learning materials online to maintain the quality of these courses. Therefore, in this paper, the implementation of an economical IoT-based (Internet of Things) liquid tank control system was introduced to support the online practicum class. The tank system design has a height of 120 cm and a diameter of 50 cm. The tank features a valve, flowmeter, and an 18 LPM water pump. The control systems, consisting of Arduino Uno, an ultrasonic sensor, and a stepper motor, was run on the MATLAB Simulink application. IoT systems can be deployed using the TeamViewer app. After running the simulation, it was found that the lower setpoint change did not make significant changes in the process and produced the same curve shape as the steady state. The curves at steady state and during processing are not much different for the disturbance change. The error can be calculated using IAE and ITAE. The performances of the control system with IAE and ITAE values are 1.460 and 915.122 for setpoint change, respectively. For disturbance change, the IAE and ITAE values are 0.877 and 490.446, respectively. This system can help students better understand the industry 4.0 concept and allow them do practical work effectively from home at a low cost.

ELECTRON BEAM LITHOGRAPHY PROCESS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT BY ROBUST ENGINEERING APPROACH 通过稳健工程方法提高电子束光刻工艺质量

The model-based robust approach is successfully applied to different industrial processes for improving their quality performance characteristics. The Robust engineering approach is implemented in cases of heteroscedasticity of the performance characteristics in presence of errors in the process parameters or noise factors, which is typical for the production processes. Higher quality and reproducibility of the quality characteristics can be achieved both for existing production processes or for technological process design at the production planning and development stages. In this paper the model-based robust engineering approach is implemented for the quality improvement of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) resist profiles, obtained by electron beam lithography process. Specific technological requirements concerning the developed profile structures, their variances (reproducibility) in production conditions and robustness toward the errors in the process parameters, are considered. Different multicriteria optimization approaches were applying and compared, aiming to simultaneously fulfil the requirements for the geometric characteristics of the positive resist PMMA.
