Validity evidences through internal structure for entrepreneurial attitude scale (ATEBr) Entrepreneurship is a multidetermined phenomenon, being relevant the understanding of the personal aspects associated with it. The present study aimed to analyze evidence of validity based on the internal structure for an adapted measure of entrepreneurial attitude in a sample of 272 university students. For the analysis of the internal structure of the scale, an exploratory factorial analysis was performed. It was found a factorial solution of five factors for the Brazilian context (leadership, achievement, risk, control and creativity). The reliability of the measurement factors was estimated by means of the alpha and omega coefficient for ordinal data varying between 0.56 and 0.74. It is recommended to use the scale in further studies in order to ascertain evidence of validity in other contexts and to investigate relevant variables and consequent of an entrepreneurial attitude that optimize the conditions for evaluating entrepreneurship in professional orientation practices.

Trajectories of former Professional Orientation Programs’ participants: contexts and choices From choosing a profession to its effectiveness, there is a long path to go. Aiming to understand how this path is taken, we analyzed the educational and professional trajectories of five graduates from a Professional Orientation program, focusing on the dialectical relationship between context elements and subjectsˈ choices and actions. The research was methodologically guided by the Qualitative Epistemology of González Rey. Documentary analysis, open interviews and geno-job-profile diagram were used for data production. As a result, we identified areas of meaning related to: peer and family influences; family as the basis of professional development; obstacles to socio-economic and health conditions; strategies for access to courses and better job placement; opportunities; training and professional performance; future projects.

Keep On Going: Support for the strategic choice of the curriculum internship This article presents and describes an intervention project in the field of vocational psychology named Keep-onGoing. This intervention aims to support young people in the final stage of the training process, in the strategic choice of the context of curricular internship. Its theoretical basis is the Reconstructive Exploitation Model of Vocational Investment, and it is structured into six key moments in a total of 10 sessions with two to three hours each. Five female students participated in the first edition of the 1st year of the Master’s in Educational Psychology. The results of the continuous evaluation point to average values of six on a scale of 1 to 7, in terms of the overall quality of the project. In the follow-up assessment, the dimensions “Evolution in the ability to choose” and “Project usefulness” are the highest scores confirming that participation in the project has proved to be a valuable experience for the students.

Dificultades percibidas en la transición para la universidad This study investigated the main difficulties faced by undergraduate students when entering higher education, and whether their perception could vary according to gender, semester, if the student is attending the course initially desired and type of institution. 423 students participated in this study. Through two open questions, the main academic and non-academic difficulties experienced by the students were investigated. The answers were submitted to thematic content analysis. The main academic difficulty observed was related to differences between high school and higher education. Among the non-academic difficulties, “time management” was the most frequently cited. Students from the University tended to present a little more difficulties than those of the Federal Institute. Methodological and practical implications of the results were discussed.

Adaptation of Work and Meaning Inventory (WAMI) to the Brazilian context The study aimed to adapt and gather initial evidence of the validity of the Work and Meaning Inventory (WAMI) for the Brazilian context. Participants were 667 professionals (74% women, average age M = 35.74). The results indicated that the Brazilian version of the inventory had better adjustment indexes in the unifactorial structure (TLI = 0.99; RMSEA = 0.08) than the original instrument. The factorial loads ranged from 0.65 to 0.95 (VME = 0.70). In addition, the latent work meaning scores presented positive and significant correlations with the external variables occupational self-efficacy (r = 0.55), intrinsic motivation (r = 0.77) and work commitment (r = 0.81). It was concluded that the results obtained are favorable to the use of the scale in Brazilian samples.

Professional guidance in elementary school as public policy in Brazil Public policies are the focus of this study, aiming to identify, systematize and analyze Brazilian legislation on the insertion of the professional guidance practice in the Brazilian educational system. The official websites of the Brazilian Government and the National Congress were taken as data source. The systematization of the data was organized in two axes: public policies and actions in Professional Guidance in its historical and legal frameworks; and legislative proposals in the period from 2016 to 2018. The results show that legislation historically registers interest in Professional Guidance, although it has not been universal and sequential. Propositions were made disconnected from scientific advances. In the last proposition analyzed, however, some harmony with the production of knowledge is already observed.

Reflections on guitarists career development about musical activities The aim of this study was to verify the knowledge and perceptions of occupational self efficacy of students and professional guitarists and compare the results regarding personal variables. The Cognitive Social Career Theory guided this research. There were 83 guitarist participants from different regions of Brazil who answered the Occupational Self-Efficacy Scale online. The results indicated that there are several occupations unknown to the participants and that their perceptions of self-efficacy tend towards known occupations. Significant differences were identified only in the comparison of the group that finished the course between 2000 and 2009. There were significant positive correlations between the studied variables. The data indicated the need of structured interventions for professional training and career development.

Adaptation and Validity Evidences of the Kaleidoscope Career Parameters Scale The Kaleidoscopic Career Model describes how individuals alter the design of their careers and make professional decisions according to the parameters of Authenticity, Balance and Challenge. This study aimed to adapt and present validity evidence of the Kaleidoscopic Career Parameter Scale in a sample of 272 Brazilian professionals, using the procedure of confirmatory factorial analysis, with a maximum likelihood estimation method. The final version of the instrument presented 19 items, distributed in the predicted factors, with the omega reliability indicators: Authenticity (ω =, 66), Balance (ω =, 78) and Growth (ω =, 79). Finally, the results were compared according to the sociodemographic characteristics of the participants, reinforcing the possibility of applying the theory for career counseling.
