Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that combines the real world with a virtual object be it a two dimension object (2D) or three dimensions (3D) in real time. The development of AR technology has contributed a lot in various fields, one of the areas of tourism. AR in tourism can help guide tourists to explore objects in real terms. This research applies AR technology as a tour guide on Batam Island using 3D objects are applied into the building of the tour by using the method marker based tracking. The application is built using software Unity and Vuforia. The main function of this application is to display 3D tourist object that exists in a map and show the location to the tourist attraction. Result testing is done with pixel marker test, running object test, and angular position test.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) technology are embedded systems where there are several sensors equipped with a communication system. This can be applied to monitor air conditions in real time. In this paper, we implement using real hardware where Arduino as a microcontroller and for the environmental monitoring we use temperature, humidity, and CO2 sensors. The data from sensor node will be sent to server use IEEE 802.15.4 protocol to data collection, and it will be saved to database MySQL. By use IoT, the data in the local database will be synchronized to the cloud by using internet access; the aim is so that users can be monitor environment condition by real-time using website or smartphone. And also we provide about the information environmental on media social such as Facebook and Twitter.

One of the most common problems in humans is a muscle fatigue. Exoskeletons are known as one of the solution to deal with human muscle fatigue. However, several issues related to the development of exoskeletons for such a case have been identified. One of these is the control mechanism. Thus, the objective of this paper is to investigate development of a control strategy for the upper-limb exoskeleton. In this paper, a new control mechanism for an upper-limb exoskeleton is proposed. A fuzzy-based PD controller and PID are used in the proposed control mechanism, and a comparative assessment of the performance of both controllers is made. The results show that the control mechanism with fuzzy-based PD controller performs better than the PID controller in terms of trajectory tracking accuracy and control torque analysis.

Artificial weld defect specimen has an important role in the training of non-destructive testing personnel. It simulates real defects occur in the actual inspection. Challenging factor in manufacturing weld defect is creating realistic defects. The methods in this study are deliberately to produce poor weldment and accommodate certain weld defect such as lack of fusion, porosity, slag inclusion, and crack. In this study, lack of fusion is successfully created by manipulating welding parameter and welding technique to accommodate non-fusion weld. Applying impurities prior welding can create porosity and slag inclusion in the weldment. Cracks are manufactured by depositing high carbon content along with a section of weld pass. Its brittleness lead crack to propagate along weldment.

Many vegetarian food products are currently unknown to the global community. Whereas vegetarian food is a solution for people to be able to live healthy without spending much money. Many people in this technology era are aware of a healthy lifestyle. However, to get healthy food, people still find it difficult to get it at a low price. Healthy food is still sold at high prices, such as in supermarkets, where middle-class people cannot enjoy it. With the advancement of Android mobile technology, it is expected that food can be marketed or promoted at a low price because it is directly from the seller without many intermediaries. Vegetarian food can be sent immediately after ordering in a vegetarian application without the need to come to the production site so that it can save costs for the buyer. It is expected that after the trial of the vege application, many people will be helped to change to a healthy lifestyle. With the mobile community vege application, it can also save the cost of everyday life.

How to make the distance learning process more interactive becomes one of the crucial issues in distance learning today. The use of object-tracking in the learning process to move the camera following the teacher in real-time during the learning process can improve the interactivity of the learning process. Mean-shift is one of the well known object-tracking algorithms because this algorithm is relatively easy to implement and has relatively low computational loads. It works iteratively to locate a predefined object in an image. To decrease the execution time of the mean-shift algorithm, the number of iterations required for the algorithm to reach convergence needs to be reduced. This study aims to develop a faster object-tracking algorithm for indoor distance learning cases where possible changes in lighting and other factors that may affect the color intensity of the image can be excluded. The proposed algorithm is modified from the original mean-shift algorithm, alterations from the original mean-shift algorithm are made to the determination of the starting point of the object search, the maximum number of iterations and threshold by using artificial neural networks as well as resampling the target object for each frame.

Semiconductor packaging generally includes many steps such as wafer mounting, wafer dicing, die attach or die bonding, wire bonding, molding, plating, marking, and trim form. Die attach process is one of the crucial process in electronics packaging or semiconductor packaging. So, the die attaches material is an important part of this process. Die attach materials are commonly divided into some categories. The categories cover high and low-temperature application. Some kinds of die attach materials are alternative resins, epoxy adhesive, soft soldering, die attach solders and silver-glass material. In this study focuses to review epoxy adhesive material in die attach process.

Most research results are published in a conference as a scientific paper. Paper management in a conference comprises of a long and complicated process starting from call for paper until the publication of the conference proceeding. It also involves multiple parties, such as authors, reviewers, and committees. Futhermore, in a conference, there are many papers submitted by authors. Therefore, this final project has developed MyConfree, a web-based conference management system to facilitate paper management in a conference. MYCONFREE was developed using PHP programming language, Codegniter framework, and MySQL database. Hopefully, MyConfree is able to help users, because it provides features for paper management such as call for paper announcement, paper submission process, paper review process, author notification through email, and camera-ready version submission process. Moreover, MyConfree is an open-source licensed software.

Krill herd algorithm is motivated by the movement of krill herd in the sea. It is a heuristic search method for finding global optimum value. This paper presents a comparison between a mix Krill Herd Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization (KHQPSO) algorithm, a Biogeography Krill Herd (BKH) algorithm and Harmony Search Krill Herd (HSKH) algorithm as a combination of Krill Herd algorithm. The results of the study prove that BKH has better performance than KHQPSO and HSKH algorithm for solving standard test functions.
