In this study, game theory is used to determine the effect of vaccination and booster shots in containing COVID-19 in Bahrain. The study is divided into three parts and in each part, the payoff matrix and the biometric is generated. The Nash equilibrium points are determined by marking the maximum value in the first entry of each column and the maximum value in the second entry of each row. The results show that the vaccination and the booster shots significantly reduce the number of infected individuals, the number of patients reaching the ICU, and the number of deaths due to COVID-19.

In front of the effects of climate change, electric power systems are in evolution to other types of generation technologies that mean cleaner production. At the global level, several strategies for the system operations are being implemented to enhance the efficiency and the consequence of these operations (in terms of environmental consequences). By following this premise, the proposed paper offers a mathematical model that considers the scheduling of large-scale electric power systems by studying the environmental impact. This differentiates this paper from others (which only consider the economical aspect). The mathematical model also contemplates the uncertainties in wind generation and power demand. It improves the robustness of the model in front of unexpected variations. The reduction in computational effort of the model enables the study of large-size problems when different scenarios are analyzed to cover the uncertainties. The test case is the electric power system of Argentina, which supplies to over 40 million people. Results of different scenarios indicate that the daily operating cost of the country is over USD 6 million, and the emissions are over 50 thousand CO2 tons.

It is important for companies to evaluate work safety and health procedures to avoid work accidents that can cause work disruption or cessation. PT XYZ is a company in the field of agribusiness that produces Crude Palm Oil (CPO). The problem has occurred due to out-of-dated safety book. A research is required to overcome the problem by updating the safety book that designated specifically for boiler house. In determination of new safety book, the method of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRA DC) is involved to perform assessment on existing risks in the Boiler House. This research was conducted by identifying hazards, conducting an assessment of the identified hazards, and performing the effort of risk controlling. The results indicated the highest risk assessment was on physiological hazards with score of 15, heat hazard with 12, falling and slipping hazards scored with 4, and the lowest is chemical substances exposure hazard with score of 3.

Fishery sector plays important role in fulfilling the food supply. The increase in fish consumption directly impacts the fishery sector, on how to deliver well-qualified fishery products. The company that operates in the fishery sector is the agribusiness company located in Jakarta. Two products are manufactured, which are Red Tilapia fish and Catfish. This research aims to design the work system for a water pH and TDS indicator device by using Microcontroller Arduino, specifically designated for a fishpond. This device uses a sensor and utilizes a block diagram for device design. Several tests on various ponds were conducted to determine error percentage. According to the pH sensor, Pond 1 was recorded with 0.658%, Pond 2 with 1.091%, and Pond 3 with 1,495%. While, by using the TDS sensor, it can be calculated that Pond 1 resulted in 2,0%, Pond 2 with 4,701%, Pond 3 with 1,495%, for its error percentage. For an accurate result, the company should perform routine inspections and maintenance on devices.

The adoption of BIM has given a new lease of life to the construction industry. Aware of its contribution, many countries have forced its implementation in the different trades of Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owner Operators (AECO). Nevertheless, much of the scarce existing literature around BIM in the Kingdom of Morocco is focused on a few case studies of BIM, with an absence of attention to the level of knowledge, awareness, and adoption of BIM in Moroccan construction. To gain insight into Moroccan's BIM experience, an exploratory survey was conducted in an online questionnaire followed and completed by a qualitative process based on interviews of a population of professionals and academics. The results confirm the existence of moderate knowledge about BIM and provide important information about the issues, issues, trends, and opportunities for BIM to become an essential component in the construction sector. The academic and professional community can use these findings to develop targeted interventions on BIM adoption in Morocco.

The paper explores three approaches used in heritage management namely a material-based approach, a values-based approach and a living heritage approach and analyses them in the Indian context of Shaktipithas. Wherein an integrated approach is derived as a contextual outcome to manage living heritage sites in India after an in-depth analysis of the issues encountered in these approaches. A conceptual model for the same has been developed to serve as a basis for all future researches in heritage management by providing a new perception to theory and the practice of heritage conservation not only in India but also in other parts of the world, where the ownership of such sites is shared by multiple heritage stakeholders but there is a strong disconnect between the heritage experts and host community.

Employee green behavior (EGB) has emerged as an important topic in organizational behavior research. There is greater public awareness of environmental concerns, such as the impact of poor waste management, rising CO2 levels, and sustainable consumer products. In response, more organizations have implemented environmental policies that require green behaviors from employees. EGB refers to both in- and extra-role employee behaviors in the workplace. Although a substantial body of research has examined various antecedents of EGB, few studies have examined the role of individual green values as a predictor of EGB. Therefore, this paper proposes a model linking individual green values and EGB. A review of the literature to support the proposed linkage is presented.

Sustainability of small and medium enterprises has always remained a big question, especially for developing countries. This study has been conducted to identify the role of knowledge management, which is considered compulsory for the sustainable performance of small and medium enterprises. Furthermore, the study examined the moderating role of interactive performance management. For identifying the framework, data has been collected through adopted questionnaires and structural equation modelling has been applied over the collected data from 100 small and medium enterprises operating in Sialkot, Pakistan. The findings revealed that knowledge exploitation and knowledge exploration have a significant positive impact on the performance of small and medium enterprises. Likewise, interactive performance management has also a significant direct impact, however, the moderating role of interactive performance management is negative and insignificant over the relationship between knowledge exploitation and sustainable performance, yet it affects the direct relationship and makes it insignificant. On the other hand, the moderating role of interactive performance management is positive and insignificant over the relationship between knowledge exploration and sustainable performance. The findings are significant for the policymakers as well as academicians as the findings highlight the importance of knowledge exploitation, knowledge exploration, and interactive performance management which is usually ignored by the owners of small and medium enterprises in developing countries like Pakistan.

Fallacious waste management is an enormous enemy towards a healthy environment. Currently, the world's waste is categorized into municipal solid waste, industrial waste, agricultural waste, and hazardous waste. In earlier days instead of using different methodologies for waste segregation and management, people used similar methods for assorted kinds of waste produced in varying categories. But in recent years there has been a huge leap in techniques that involve segregation of waste and then proper disposal process. The two major technologies that have been developed for eradicating the complications in the field of waste management are IoT (Internet of Things) and deep learning. Apart from segregation and managing the garbage, the collection of garbage is also an important task. When the garbage isn't collected at regular intervals of time, it affects the health of citizens residing in that surrounding area. Both the technologies have done great work in eradicating this communication gap and made sure that proper segregation of waste takes place leaving no stone unturned. This survey paper discusses various strategies of waste segregation and management.

Urban and peri-urban development is one of the most underestimated causes of soil destruction. Therefore, the general aim of this study was to evaluate urban sprawl in the great EL Jadida. The methodology adopted is based on a diachronic study of multispectral satellite images (TM, ETM, and OLI) using two classification methods (maximum likelihood and spectral indices). This methodology allowed the reconstruction of trajectories of changes in land occupation and land use, highlighting the artificialisation of the territory and the privileged extension zones of urban and peri-urban sprawl between 1985 and 2019. This study reveals that the artificialization of the great El Jadida from 1986 to 2019 confirms solid urban growth. The area of land invaded by urbanization was approximately 5899 ha. Thus, the evolution of urban space from 1985 to 2019 revealed an average progression of approximately 174 ha per year. There is also a substantial regression of agricultural land around 6976 ha.
