Drivers and Barriers towards Circular Economy: A Systematic Review on Consumer Perspective in the Consumer Journey 循环经济的驱动因素与障碍:消费者旅程中的消费者视角的系统回顾

Circular economy (CE) has received considerable attention from academia, practitioners and policymakers as a potential solution for the current context of social, food and economic crises, environmental pollution, the continuous decrease of non-renewable resources and continuous increase of the global population. Although the importance of consumer as an active agent to circular process success, studies that address consumer behavior in the context of CE are still limited. Thus, there are relevant gaps in the CE literature, as studies so far have largely neglected the unique customer perspective on the drivers and barriers to CE adoption, particularly in relation to each stage of the customer journey. In this context, through a systematic literature review, this study aims to identify drivers and barriers towards CE related to consumer and classify them in the consumer journey. As results, it was possible to analyze and classify the drivers and barriers towards CE related to consumer in the three phases in the consumer journey: pre-purchase, purchase and post-purchase. In the pre-purchase phase, it identified drivers and barriers related to consumer awareness, knowledge, perceptions, thrill, needs and interest, pressure from community, global climate and consumer’ environmental awareness. The drivers and barriers classified on purchase phase are in regard to consumer behavior, preferences, interest, acceptance and demand, and also consumer behavior in the buying process, price, customer pressure and customer himself. Finally, in the post-purchase phase, only drivers were found, involving customer loyalty and satisfaction, reusing and recycling.

The Digital Hawker Economy in Dalian from the Perspective of Alienation of Labor: Logic, Connotation, and Pathways 劳动异化视角下的大连数字小贩经济:逻辑、内涵与路径

Analysis of the digital hawker economy in Dalian, within the context of global capital expansion and labor alienation, helps understand the dialectical relationship between the formal and informal economies. The study adopts a desktop research approach, utilizing existing data from Dalian Statistics Bureau to demonstrate the interactive nature of the labor process among peddlers, means of production, and labor products, revealing the phenomenon of alienation within this process. By analyzing data provided by ByteDance officials, it becomes evident that the digital peddler economy in Dalian suffers from structural deviations. The pathway for the digital peddler economy lies in establishing digital platforms while avoiding the ideology of consumerism associated with digital goods. To achieve a more visual understanding of the dialectical relationship between formal and informal economies, this study uses R Programming for 3D modeling and regression forecasting analysis of Dalian's formal economy. Additionally, modeling the labor process of Digital Hawkers enhances the understanding of the dialectical relationship between the traditional peddler economy and the digital peddler economy. The research suggests the need to optimize relevant policies for traditional peddlers, allowing Dalian's informal economy to stabilize and complement the formal economy amid global capital expansion. Only through collective efforts from the government, platforms, and society can the healthy development of the digital peddler economy in Dalian be achieved, thereby promoting urban economic prosperity and social progress.

Effects of Islamic Modes of Financing on Profitability of Banking Institutions 伊斯兰融资模式对银行机构盈利能力的影响

This study intended to examine the effect of Islamic financing modes on profitability of banking institutions in Mogadishu Somalia. In detail, the study examined the effects of Murabaha (cost-plus) and of Mudarabah (profit sharing) on profitability of banking institutions in Mogadishu Somalia. The study used a correlational research design, and data were collected through self-administered questionnaire from 56 respondents. The results indicated that Murabaha and Mudarabah have a statistically significant positive effect on profitability of banking institutions. The findings reveal that a significant increase and adherence to these Islamic modes of financing is expected to significantly improve and increase the profitability of banking institutions. The study concludes that both Murabaha and Mudarabah are vital for Islamic bank performance and profitability. It is recommended to the management of Islamic banks to start putting into consideration clients’ credit rating while determining the mark-up value and at the same time carry out regular and systematic visits to their partners to gain an insight into the operations of the joint venture businesses and also remind them to clear their obligations.

Relationship between Student Expectations, Perceptions, and Personal Characteristics in Integrated Technical Courses 综合技术课程中学生期望、认知与个人特征的关系

The objective of this study is to analyse relationships between the characteristics of students attending an integrated technical course and their expectations and perceptions by using the SERVQUAL scale. A questionnaire was applied to the students in two municipalities based on a version adapted from the Servqual scale. A pre-test was performed with five students and the final sample had 249 respondents. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were the techniques used for data analysis. The results show that students of different school years, those who always attended public schools, those who were at the campus of Araranguá, those who intend to follow a career in their field of study, and mainly those intending to take college entrance exams, have different expectations and perceptions of the course quality. The present study concluded that taking the college entrance exam is the characteristic most strongly related to different levels of expectation and perception. However, the results differ partially from the revised literature.

Covid-19 was very impactful on all USA States, with increased deaths and escalated trends every day, strong hit in various states on the top of them comes New York., New Jersey, and Michigan, during difficult times (April 20). That is why the authors have chosen the General Motors (G.M.) initiative to study and analyze. The crisis of medical supplies and ventilators shortage at the beginning of the pandemic deserved to be studied and synthesized as an inspiring experience and adds value to the discipline of social responsibility, crisis management, disaster management, strategic decision making and emergency management. The major objective of this study is designing a model that represents a Road Map for Emergency Management for CEOs and Executives. Content analysis was used to analyze the Covid-19 crisis and events' sequences in relation to Manitoba Health Disaster Management Model, and the fast decisions and actions made. This research will conclude with a top-level management implication: a designed road map that can be used for making future decisions in emergency management.

Under the development trend of economic globalization, facing the opportunities and challenges brought by the development of the domestic and foreign market economy, the high-end hotel in our country is the important pillar of the tertiary industry, whether it is the business demand or the intensity of competition. By understanding the current development status of high-end hotels in China, understanding the management problems faced by reform and innovation, and putting forward effective solutions as soon as possible, it can lay the foundation for the sustainable development of high-end hotel industry in various regions. Therefore, this paper mainly studies the management problems and countermeasures in the development of high-end hotels in China.

Against the background of promoting the sustained recovery of the national economy, the State has gradually increased its support for small and micro enterprises. In addition to policy support, enterprises as the main body should actively seek changes to resolve financing difficulties, combined with the current digital economy and the development of big data technology, enterprises should also from the external and internal perspectives of their own data construction and access to financing channels to make thinking. This paper analyzes the impact of big data technology on enterprise financing to draw out the opinions and suggestions on enterprise data management and system construction, reveals the mechanism of the impact of big data on enterprise financing, and expands the research on the application of big data.

Assessing the Impact of Banks’ High-Tech Investments on Efficiency: What Is the Actual Relationship Direction? 银行高科技投资对效率的影响评估:实际的关系方向是什么?

This paper analyses whether there is any relationship between the efficiency level achieved by Euro Area banking groups and their attitude toward high-tech investments proxied by high-tech patents. We measure banking efficiency via Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The period considered is the decade between 2012 and 2021. The results obtained show that there is a generally negative relationship between the two topics under investigation. The evidence obtained justifies the importance of an appropriate level of attention by regulators since increasing levels of technological innovation pursued through significant growth in intangible assets, could negatively affect the overall financial system efficiency.

Are Colors Influential in Changing the Attitudes and Behaviors of Customers in Their Purchase Decision-Making? 颜色对改变顾客购买决策的态度和行为有影响吗?

Color is a paramount factor that significantly influences the attractiveness of a product. This study investigates the impact of colors on human perception and their subsequent attraction to different colors, ultimately leading to product purchase decisions. The research methodology involved the collection of data from 406 customers in Saudi Arabia, utilizing a convenience sampling approach coupled with a correlation and causal research design. A survey questionnaire was employed to gather the necessary data, which was subsequently analyzed using PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling) software. The findings of the study reveal a positive and statistically significant relationship between various factors and purchasing behavior, including mood regulation (0.048, p < 0.05), individual characteristics (0.056, p < 0.05), perceived usefulness (0.065, p < 0.05), perceived ease-of-use (0.146, p < 0.05), instant gratification (0.067, p < 0.05), and compatibility (0.567, p < 0.05). Therefore, based on these outcomes, it can be concluded that the results derived from color research possess qualities that are media-friendly and provocative, exerting a substantial influence on the audience and effectively stimulating product purchases.

Human Resources Practices in the Context of Sustainability: The Forestry Case 可持续发展背景下的人力资源实践:林业案例

This article aims to understand how Human Resources (HR) practices are articulated in the organizational context focused on the insertion and operationalization of sustainability. This is a qualitative research, conducted via case study in a forest operation of a Brazilian company that has sustainability at the core of its business strategy. Direct observation, semi-structured interview, and documentary research were adopted as data collection instruments; the data were analyzed according to thematic analysis of narratives. The results indicate efforts to articulate the organization&rsquo;s intention to adopt HR practices in the context of sustainability. We also verified that the intertwining of formal HR practices with those situated at the relationship level of groups contributes to the expansion of participation and communication, security culture, and of the generation and sharing of knowledge, enabling a working environment where the value of sustainability is shared, favoring the emergence of the human dimension of sustainability.
