Profesor Livada rođen je 14. ožujka 1928. godine u Gornjem Primišlju, na Kordunu. Kao mladić odlazi u partizane i nakon teškog ranjavanja u bolnici provodi neprekidno sedam godina. Nakon izlaska iz bolnice upisuje gimnaziju i završava povijest i filozofiju na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zagrebu. Doktorirao je na Poljoprivrednom fakultetu u Beogradu 1975. godine, s temom Implikacije starenja seoskog i poljoprivrednog stanovništva. Zapošljava se u Agrarnom institutu u Zagrebu 1960. godine, a od 1972. godine radi u Institutu za društvena istraživanja Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Na Filozofskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu predavao je Sociologiju sela i Socijalnu demografiju.

The tourism industry contributes greatly to stakeholders at tourism destinations, yet leaving negative prints on the environment. Besides, both tourism providers and tourists are often associated with unfavourable treatment of nature and disrespectful behaviour towards the destination’s natural resources. Hence, understanding what influences tourists’ attitudes and behaviour towards the environment is of great significance. Previous literature has already shed light on the importance of people’s sociodemographic characteristics in molding their environmental attitudes and behaviour. Thus, this paper attempted to investigate whether tourists’ sociodemographic variables influence their eco-friendly attitudes and behaviour when at tourism destinations. Similarly, such personal characteristics have been confirmed to assist consumers in their preferences towards product packaging. Based on this, and the fact that green products could enhance the quality of the environment and modify consumers’ behaviour, the present study also focused on tourists’ perception of green packaging and branding. The survey research was carried out among 368 Serbian tourists. The results confirmed differences tourists’ age correlates positively with their eco-friendly attitudes and behaviour. Interestingly, no significant differences were detected in the perception of green packaging and branding. Practical implications for destination marketers will be discussed in the paper.

Na Fakultetu političkih znanosti Sveučilišta u Zagrebu završila je poslijediplomski studij i 1989. g. obranila magistarski rad pod naslovom „Socio-ekonomski status zaposlenih u šumarstvu“ (mentor prof. dr. sc. J. Županov). Doktorirala je 1999. g. na Filozofskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, obranivši disertaciju pod naslovom „Socijalno-ekološke orijentacije u šumarskoj profesiji“ (mentor prof. dr. sc. I. Cifrić).

The paper analyses the ways in which the literary sphere, understood as a space that includes literary works, writers, literary events, and institutions, contributes to the development of city identity. Based on the typology of urban symbols developed by Peter Nas and associates, in this paper we identify different types of identity markers of the city, which are related to the literary sphere, such as monuments dedicated to writers and literary characters, institutions such as literary museums and libraries, depictions of cities in literary works, literary events, and other related phenomena. Identification of “urban literary symbols” is an important step in sociological examination of the ways in which elements of the literary sphere contribute to the city’s recognizability, as well as in considerations of the possibility to use them as a cultural resource for local development. Unlike the existing literature about the use of objects and phenomena from the sphere of culture for city branding where the emphasis is mostly on film and music, this work focuses on objects and phenomena from the sphere of literature, so therefore the analysis considers the specifics of literary production in a global context.
