Students are unique human being. They are not always alike. As they have different background, interest, culture, learning dynamic, therefore they learn differently. The Developing Countries Partnership students in YSU, Indonesia come from different countries with different level of Indonesian language competence. In order to get the reflection of students' personal best and the degree of individual progress from each learner's achievements, some steps needs to be applied in differentiated instruction. While teachers need to facilitate and coach students in learning, this instruction will be enabling the students to actively participate in learning, producing and assessing their own learning.

For at least fifty years, the inverted pendulum has been the most popular benchmark, among others, for teaching and researches in control theory and robotics. This paper presents the key motivations for the use of that system and explains, in details, the main reflections on how the inverted pendulum benchmark gives an effective and efficient application. Several real experiences, virtual models and web-based remote control laboratories will be presented with emphasis on the practical design implementation of this system. A bibliographical survey of different design control approaches and trendy robotic problems will be presented through applications to the inverted pendulum system. In total, 150 references in the open literature, dating back to 1960, are compiled to provide an overall picture of historical, current and challenging developments based on the stabilization principle of the inverted pendulum.

An algorithm is a consequence of logical instructions that, once executed, reduce to a result and it is not always evident to good understand its functioning. The progression of the technologies of information and communication and its availability in the teaching and in the learning offer the possibility to put at the disposal of the learners the tools that facilitate their learning. The algorithmic is a very important field in computer science; it is currently studied using different intelligent environments for human learning dedicated to each discipline. Algobase, is an Environment for assessment algorithms and learning resolution with decomposition of tasks. This is an editor that offers the learner opportunities to create, modify, evaluate algorithms and view mistakes. The assessment in this Environment is done through a matching of solutions.

The use of active learning methodologies such as cooperative learning and project-based learning is increasingly widespread in Spain. Project-based learning is particularly suitable for engineering studies. However, planning an issue, using the project-based learning is not an easy task. This paper proposes applying this educational methodology for teaching cross-cutting theme "Patents and Trademarks". This theme is very suitable for students who are pursuing a degree in industrial design. If we approach the subject from the traditional view should bombard the student with a large number of laws and procedures, but the innovative project described in this paper is approached from the point of view of cooperative learning and project-based learning.

The field of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is undergoing a major revolution, opening the prospect of significant impact in many application areas (safety, health, environment, food safety, manufacturing, telecommunications. Routing is fundamental such a network because there is no infrastructure that manages the information exchanged between network nodes. Two major classes of routing algorithms are defined, the first is the class flat and the second is that of the hierarchical algorithms. The aim of this paper is to study the class of flat and make a comparative study between several routing algorithms and their impact on the performance of WSN. Our simulation is performed in NS2 (Network Simulator 2). It allows us to identify performance metrics such asthroughput, end to end delay and loss rate.

It is argued that educational games have the potential to be an important teaching tool because they are interactive, engaging and immersive activities. They are seen as a way that allows the learner to participate actively in his learning, also a tool allowing the acquisition of knowledge. There are many advocates for the role that serious games could play in formal education. In this paper, we propose a serious game dedicated to learning algorithm which is an important topic in computer science education and its learning generally considered as a difficult and frustrating process. By a Serious Game we mean a computer application, whose combine the serious aspects (Serious), with the playing aspect of Video Games (Game). After a study of serious games genres and the skills developed by each genre, we present the conception and the realization of our serious game. This serious game aims to provide an innovative method to learn AVL trees.

Many schools and universities around the world recognize the need to improve their process of teaching by using e-learning platform that integrates Web 2 technologies which interest new populations of students. The scope of this paper is to describe our experience at Ibnou Zohr University in Agadir by presenting two trainings. Our e-learning platform consists of moodle together with a set of chosen web2 tools.

The use of information technology in education is a very promising field which has led to many paradigms, educational models and the implementation of e-learning systems that are effectively used in education and training. For educators, training professionals and corporate managers, it is always hectic to choose the right approach and accordingly the e-learning system that fit their actual business needs. This is mainly due to the lack of comprehensive studies done to assess and compare existing systems that allow guiding stakeholders choosing the right e-learning system for the right learners in the right learning context. This paper is a contribution towards this direction; it proposes an overview of approaches that have been conducted to assess e-learning systems. From this study we propose a classification of approaches and e-learning systems that is based on four main criteria: i) Who: that deals with the stakeholders and actors of learning systems; ii) What: which represents the elements of an e-learning system to evaluate; iii) When: addresses the phase of development of the e-learning system in which the assessment is done; iv) Which: the method used to evaluate the systems. The results of this work are presented and discussed in this paper.

We want to build our students to face the world challenges. Our duty is to reshape our earlier plans according to current era. Our Main Focus of this paper is to provide the awareness about education for students with the help of social networks and discussed various learning tools available online to enhance the effectiveness of their learning and knowledge sharing habits. No single e-learning method is best for every learning need. we will most likely need to use several e-learning technologies as well as traditional learning methods. This study is to help out the online learners to choose learning tools based on their requirements. Data mining automates the process of locating and extracting the hidden patterns and knowledge.

This paper focuses on the approach inherent to human learning systems which aims to bring logistical supports to the learning process. Our main concern is to improve this approach which does not fully meet the needs of the entire community of learners. Therefore, our proposed approach includes the learners of the educational system and those who want to upgrade their competences (learning throughout life). In this paper, we present on one hand, the gaps identified in the pedagogical approach of existing learning systems, on the other hand, we pass in review the computing support improvements to these systems. At the end, we propose an architecture of a learning system meeting these objectives.
