A fact that we cannot deny is, web applications testing has become a very large scale, hence the interest of developers and especially testers to find the best solutions ever in order to improve web applications testing quality. Many web testing tools provide to user the “record and replay” feature that, like any other testing process, aims to compare actual results with expected ones to ensure the application functionality. But this approach has failed functionally speaking despite its widespread in most of web testing tools. In fact, the challenge of most developers is to ensure quality by increasing the test accuracy and at the same time speeding up testing process. Facing those urgent needs, and these actual facts (record and replay approach) it became necessary to find another approach, from this came the idea to create model-based tests. Model-based testing is a new approach in web testing world and unlike record and replay technique, just a few tools relay on. Due to all its functional advantages, we have chosen to create a web testing tool that is based on this powerful technique and improve it, in a way that simplify modeling implementation in order to reduce the rate of errors. Our System will be represented in a graphical user interface that allows user to choose, in factor of his need, between an automatic test cases generation to save effort and time, or a manual selection mode, in case of a specific test case is needed.

Along with the rapid development of e-learning market and the widespread popularity for universities in China, the purchase and sales contracts of Blackboard (BB) platform has been signed by Shanghai University, which has become the second largest Blackboard user in China since 2010. BB is planned to integrate school's existing systems which are educational management system, the LEHU Forum and the unified authentication system. BB is still in the trial stage in Shanghai University. This issue is an introduction to BB for electronic and electrical experiment teaching in Shanghai University which could reflect some experience and some problems that may arise in the practical application.

Education as a process of either receiving or obtaining systematic instruction especially at a school or university level is sure to put forward some impact on the development process at all stages which is discussed and correlated in a different manner.

The technology enhanced learning is believed to be useful in representing the contexts and situations which are harder to explain verbally or bring to the classroom. One of the most important concerns in higher education is to ensure that the learning outcomes are achieved accordingly and learners acquire the desired capability. Most important techniques in supporting learning in higher education sector includes timely and detailed feedback to learners which must include both strengths and weaknesses of learner as well as the future implications of their performance. This paper proposes an online platform called Student Coursework Repository (SCORE) that enables academics to evaluate and provide effective online feedback to students in higher education sector. In this framework, a repository of different feedback mechanisms is made available to academic staff, irrespective of the modules and courses the students are enrolled in. SCORE builds on other literature and research work on feedback management and enables the delivery of other forms of feedback such as audio or video based feedback. SCORE aims to provide a consistent and common tool that can be used in a multidisciplinary environment and is sustainable to support an online and paperless environment.

Information research refers, in our context, to information retrieval to obtain further learning information from documents. However, automatic tools for learning information retrieval from these documents based on semantic tags are not yet effective. We propose here a model which aims at automatically annotating texts with semantic metadata. These metadata will allow us to index and extract learning objects from texts. This model is composed of two parts: the first part consists of a semantic annotation of learning objects according to their semantic categories (definition, example, exercise, etc.). The second part uses automatic semantic annotation which is generated by the first part to create a semantic inverted index able to find relevant learning objects for queries associated with semantic categories. We have implemented a system called SRIDOP, on the basis of the proposed model and we have verified its effectiveness.

With the continuous evolution and convergence of wireless technologies, mobile devices and sensors, the mobile, ubiquitous and pervasive learning have appeared next to the e-learning to re-organize, on the one hand, the way users interact with the technology, and on the other hand, to provide users a permanent and transparent access to information and contextual services in any time, everywhere and in all situations. Lots of works have already been done in mobile and pervasive learning domain on how to integrate the learning process to work whatever the place, time, work individual or collective and integrate of the mobile and pervasive devices in broader training scenarios, and contexts. The pervasive learning systems are context-aware; the main requirement is to adapt them to the changes of context (learner profile, location, mobile devices, and environment). In this paper, we try to answer to the request what and how do we adapt in pervasive learning system. In the first step, we propose an approach focused on the skills and not only on the acquisition of knowledge, we rely on the use of learning situations contextualized based on learning and tasks evaluation to make significant learning by modifying the learning scenario model used in literature. The adaptation of the pervasive learning system must be flexible which allows to the learner for example to answer a question in different ways (using the palette of terms or by typing the solution...); therefore it is necessary to adapt the interface of interaction by adapting the information, their presentation and selecting the media and the media related factors such as image or video quality and size....

Open and distance learning opportunities have created new challenges in the design and delivery stages. The development of e-learning standards proposes new perspectives for educational actors to overpass those challenges, however they still been not adopted by design teams. We propose in this paper a conceptual model and an approach for modeling open and distance learning situations by using one of the e-learning standards.

In recent years, the number of users in social networking sites regularly increased. Especially younger people spend a tremendous time on social networking sites like Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Google+ and many more. Since obviously this is the place on the World-Wide-Web where our students spent their spare time, we integrated social networking sites in our day-to-day learning scenarios. This is on the one hand to start working with our students where they feel comfortable, and on the other hand to allow to foster the communication among our students about the topic of the lectures.

The communication that we propose is based on the quality of the care of the teaching of transversal matter in the higher education (university) and the impact of e-learning on this issue which is crucial with regard to the teachings fluidity as well as the effect on the quality of the latter. We will try to show the interconnections between these two aspects and the effects brought by the Technologies of Information and Communication (TIC) tools and techniques; and e-learning platforms in favor of the good teaching practices and the teachings governance improvement.

In conventional delivery mode of Educational Enterprise Resource Planning (EERP) information systems, applications and databases are established for each college in universities independently. It not only causes resources to be wasted, but also brings about a series of problems related to data management. As technologies like virtualization assume important places within the IT landscape, higher education leaders will need to consider which institutional services they wish to leave to customer choice, which ones they wish to outsource "somewhere else: of course cloud," and which services they should operate centrally or locally on campus. In order to solve the problems mentioned above perfectly, Educational Enterprise Resource Planning information system begins to be constructed based on SaaS. In this paper, a schema of distributed database architecture in the SaaS-based multi-tenant Educational Enterprise Resource Planning information systems (OLTP) JEE based application is proposed and a distributed database access process module is implemented.
