State Transitions in Vector Controlled AC Tram Drive 矢量控制交流有轨电车驱动的状态转换

The paper deals with the control strategy for the prototype AC tram drive designed for modernization of existing trams in Poland. The basis of the drive are vector-controlled induction motors sourced from voltage inverters. Motor shaft speed sensing enables torque and rotor flux indirect control in stator-current oriented co-ordinates system. In the paper the block scheme of such a control is given and distinct work-states of the drive during the tram driving by motorman are described. Traction properties of the drive were checked during street tests of the tram. During tests the behavior of the drive in dynamic states while accelerating and electromagnetic braking of the tram was especially observed. Results of these observations at different tram drive operation conditions in a form of torque and speed transients were enclosed.

Avoiding Drawn Arcs Between Sliding Contacts of Commutators 避免换向器滑动触点之间产生电弧

Electro mechanic contacts are widely used in several appliances, because they are cheap, but also very robust, capable to withstand overvoltage and overcurrent surges. Especially they are necessary with commutators of universal electric motors for they are enabling commutation. These motors achieve high power per a unit of volume due to their high shaft speed, and they are produced at relatively low costs for a unit of power. So, they are economically very important for their numerous production, and they use sliding contacts for their operation. The sliding contacts are mechanical contacts and so electric arcs ignite between their contact members during commutation, and usually they are drawn arcs. Therefore it is very important to determine contact materials which avoid forming the electric arcs.

Modeling and Test of a PM Synchronous Generator Based Small Stand Alone Wind Energy Converter 基于永磁同步发电机的小型独立风力变流器建模与试验

This paper deals with the study of the behavior of stand alone wind energy converters (WEC) based on permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). First, the WEC chain is described and the model of each component of the conversion set is studied. At this stage, a special attention is given to incorporate the saturation effect in the PMSG model. Then, the obtained model is used to analyze the dynamic behavior of this WEC face to typical wind site profile and a variable electrical load. The obtained results help the authors to analyze the WEC performances as well as the impact of the generator saturation on the power conversion

Virtual laboratories can become important components of the teaching process, because using them several experiment-oriented problems can be solved easily and also from the distance. Graduates using virtual laboratories will be better trained when they enter the job market. In the paper a laboratory work will be presented having two components: a simulation and an experimental module. Both can be used for the preparation of a real lab and for accessing the real-world experiments. The virtual lab modules can also allow multiple students to remote access the experiments, the multicast data transfer mechanisms and arbitration mechanisms

Voltage Ripple Cancellation in Buck Converter based on Hybrid Structured Connection 基于混合结构连接的Buck变换器电压纹波消除

In applications where size and efficiency are critical switched mode power supply converters are used. A switched mode DC-DC buck converter or step-down converter use output filter capacitor to reduce output voltage ripple. To reduce size of buck converter, the elimination of the capacitor must be done. Instead of the capacitor the structure with additional linear amplifier is introduced for output voltage ripple reduction. The amplifier reduces ripple in output current and consequently ripple in output voltage. The structure operation is theoretically investigated and verified by simulations and experimental results

Control Issues of a ZCS Inverter ZCS逆变器的控制问题

The Ishikawa and Murai zero current switching inverter offers promising characteristic for several applications. Nevertheless, to date the control issue was not yet fully addressed. The paper reviews the converter evidencing the nonlinearity, the load-filter resonance issue, and the resonant time duration. An equation for the forecasting of the resonant times is checked. Consequently, a modulator is proposed and described in detail, then verified experimentally. This paper finally proposes and verifies a vector control with active damping. An active damping control structure is defined, tuned, and verified by means of experimental tests taking into account several versions. Although this work does not fully address the control issue it evidences the control requirements of the converter and it is helpful in the converter evaluation and application.

Energy Sources Control and Management in Hybrid Electric Vehicles 混合动力汽车能源控制与管理

The development of Hybrid Electric Vehicles is one of the most effective solutions to improve our environment. For the purposes of improving the characteristic and efficiency of Hybrid Electric Vehicles, different hybrid drive train topologies with super capacitor based energy storages have been studied with concern about energy sources control and management. The methods of controlling mean power and controlling peak power according to the load current have been presented in this paper. The experimental results proved that the super capacitor based energy storage is fully controlled by using our strategy of control and management, and that the main power supply system (even without mean power control) is controlled to only supply the mean power. The efficiency and lifecycle of the main power supply system (e.g. fuel cell) can be improved. And good dynamics of the Hybrid Electric Vehicle have been achieved.

Sliding Mode Based Position Control of a Flexible-Link Arm 基于滑模的柔性连杆臂位置控制

In this study, sliding mode (SM) based partial feedback linearization (PFL) control method is applied to a single flexible link arm (FLA) with payload. A sliding mode based partial feedback linearization controller is designed to achieve set point precision positioning control for a FLA. Flexible robot arms have structural flexibilities and resulting high number of passive degrees-of-freedom. They cannot be decoupled due to the highly nonlinear structure. Since exact feedback linearization control methods cannot be applied to these systems, partial feedback linearization control methods are suitable for the flexible systems. For set-point control, sliding mode control based approach is applied to achieve the precise tip position of a single FLA. To do this, active and passive dynamics of the system are included in a new output equation and appropriate sliding manifold is defined using this new output equation. Proposed control algorithm is compared with PD based collocated PFL control method. Then, the performance of both controllers for the tip-position precision of a single FLA is demonstrated by simulations. Numerical simulations of a single FLA demonstrate that the SM based approach gives rise to a better performance than the PD based one.

Flexible robot arms have structural flexibilities and resulting high number of passive degrees-of-freedom. They cannot be decoupled due to the highly nonlinear structure. Since exact feedback linearization control methods cannot be applied to these systems, partial feedback linearization control methods are suitable for the flexible systems. For set-point control, sliding mode control based approach is applied to achieve the precise tip position of a single FLA. To do this, active and passive dynamics of the system are included in a new output equation and appropriate sliding manifold is defined using this new output equation. Proposed control algorithm is compared with PD based collocated PFL control method. Then, the performance of both controllers for the tip-position precision of a single FLA is demonstrated by simulations. Proposed here paper describes coaxial power transformer with tubular linear windings for high frequency applications. Description of design and power properties of transformer are included. Properties were obtained by FEM calculations using 2D ANSYS software and by measurements based on calorimetric method. Performed analysis shows very good properties of transformer in high frequency power conversion (at 1 MHz efficiency is 99.4% and output power 4.3 kW) Laboratory tests done in narrow range of power (0 to 500 W) confirm computational results
