Researchers in the field of Information Science have made efforts to understand the processes of construction of social memory in the context of social networks, resulting in research with multiple perspectives and differentiated areas, which have great scientific and social relevance. Having said that, the objective was to analyze the frequency of the approach to the concept of social memory in digital networks and the issues related to this theme that are of interest to researchers in this science. This is an exploratory research of a qualitative and quantitative nature, using the content analysis technique as inspiration for the composition of the methodology, and, thus, for the creation of analysis categories so that it was possible to identify variations in terms used for the concepts “patrimony” and “memory”, and also making it possible to understand how these concepts have been debated by Information Science researchers. Studies were found that address different variations of the concepts of memory and patrimony in contemporary times and reflect on the informational phenomena that permeate the construction of social memory in digital media. The availability of information through the sharing of digital collections from libraries, museums, personal, public and institutional archives are constituents of digital heritage and emerge as channels for maintaining social memory and building knowledge. Faced with this, it explains the need to preserve digital heritage and improve content description mechanisms, implement metadata standards in the processes of describing and retrieving information in digital media. It also addresses the survey of ethical issues such as the social responsibility of citizens in the production and sharing of information on the web, much of which still needs to be discussed. Artificial Intelligence plays a fundamental role in performing tasks that were previously only possible to be executed by the human mind. This includes decision-making, user interaction, image interpretation, and various other activities. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze how this technology is being used and how it can assist in the speed and accuracy of legal practice in public law firms, contributing to the increase in free access to justice. Additionally, the research also aims to identify the challenges associated with the use of Artificial Intelligence in the context of public and free access to justice. The methodology used for the study approach was qualitative research. Bibliographic and documentary research methods were employed for data collection. In short, it is clear that the use of artificial intelligence in legal practice, despite being recent and limited, is crucial for the advancement of public law and its accessibility. This is due to the fact that, through this technology, costs can be reduced and productivity increased.

Com a crescente digitalização, a disrupção tecnológica da humanidade e o aumento da relevância da transformação digital nas organizações, cada vez mais discutida nos últimos anos, já são encontrados trabalhos que estudam como a cultura pode explicar, inclusive, consequências contraditórias da tecnologia da informação (TI) nas empresas, sendo necessárias adaptações culturais para atender aos requisitos comportamentais de TI. Dado este panorama, como a cultura de uma organização se relaciona com a adoção de novas tecnologias e, consequentemente, com seu processo de transformação digital? Este trabalho se propôs a analisar esta interação a partir de um estudo de caso misto conduzido em uma empresa brasileira do setor de seguros. Pela perspectiva qualitativa, foram conduzidas entrevistas semiestruturadas com funcionários de diferentes áreas e formações, a fim de conseguirmos maior diversidade amostral. Os dados foram triangulados e os achados corroboram a literatura ao demonstrar que a tecnologia em si é apenas uma parte de todo o complexo enigma a ser solucionado pelas empresas que desejam se manter vivas e competitivas neste mundo digital.

In the digital age, the spread of fake news and misinformation is an increasingly relevant problem, which makes it difficult to verify the veracity of information. The research aims to establish strategies for the development of critical skills in the digital age in order to combat the dissemination of misinformation and fake news in education, through the analysis of dissemination processes; survey of strategies for the development of critical skills for education in the digital world and mapping through the method of systematic literature review of relevant research on disinformation and fake news in education. The bibliometric study collected 29 publications from the Reference Database of Journal Articles in Information Science, allowing the analysis of 20 after exclusions.

This paper aims to analyze the perceptions of residents of two cities in Paraná regarding indicators of sustainable cities. To this end, the study presented the relationship between sustainable cities and ISO 37120. Research was carried out with a quantitative approach, a survey in the municipalities of Londrina and Guarapuava, which contained indicators related to sustainable cities. The survey was carried out using an online platform with a form of 66 questions categorized into 13 themes plus 9 profile questions to present the data in a descriptive way. Descriptive statistics were used as well as correlation analysis between the questions and 13 strong and positive correlations were identified between the questions. Among the cities of Guarapuava and Londrina, the responses were convergent when questions about residents' perceptions of health, housing, security, mobility, connectivity, public finances, among other topics were questioned. The analysis made it possible to present disagreements with the areas of housing for the homeless and housing in favelas as well as the area of public security in cities.

O desafio da mobilidade urbana é uma preocupação que afeta inúmeras cidades globalmente, onde, em 2022, das 15 cidades com maior tempo médio de deslocamento em uma viagem, quatro são brasileiras. A partir desta problemática, o objetivo deste trabalho é realizar uma revisão sistemática sobre a aplicação de STIs no transporte público, especialmente em relação aos ônibus, impulsionados pela tecnologia 5G. A condução desta revisão é feita a partir de artigos que respondem em que essas aplicações beneficiam os usuários em relação a confiabilidade de horários dos ônibus, redução de acidentes e segurança dos dados dos usuários. Os resultados identificam um foco substancial na proteção e segurança dos dados que permeiam esses sistemas e esforços direcionados à otimização do fluxo de tráfego urbano com a integração do 5G, aliados a técnicas de inteligência artificial. Assim, essas aplicações não só beneficiam os usuários mas abrem um leque para que prossiga a análise, seja levantado novos questionamentos com o uso das ferramentas de inteligência artificial e seja estudado aplicações que fornecem serviços sob demanda.

It examines the scientific and technological context that surrounds the production of the Pimenta Baniwa product and the protection of its originality, with the aim of discussing the issue of traditional knowledge that involves indigenous entrepreneurship in the Amazon. The focus of the study is the trajectory of the composition of the Pimenta Baniwa product type Jiquitaia and indigenous female protagonism. It establishes as a methodological element the metric studies of information, especially the bibliometric and patentometric field to measure the scientific and technological state of the topic, analyzing the mapping of scientific production on the topic using bibliometrics and technological indicators in patentometrics. The results demonstrate that there is a lot of scientific and technological material that contains pepper from the genus Capsicum ssp. as the main theme, however, when it comes to Baniwa Pepper, little is found within scientific research and regarding the technological domain, no type of protection directed to the product was found. It is concluded that the production of knowledge on the topic discussed is predominantly focused on the agrarian field, with an emphasis on expanding production and safeguarding pepper, with notable little production that addresses in depth the indigenous entrepreneurship of the Baniwa people.

The Alagoas Book Biennial is an initiative of the Federal University of Alagoas (Ufal) organised through its publishing house (Edufal). Consolidated over the years as the biggest cultural event in the state, the Alagoas Book Biennial is the only one organised by a public Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Brazil. Despite its importance for Alagoas, based on data obtained through interviews with people directly linked to the production of the event, it is clear that there are gaps in the preservation of information related to the Book Biennial, directly implying the search for data for the construction of the event every two years and resulting in a problem regarding the management of information for the preservation of its memory, compromising the performance of professionals involved in its realisation. The aim of this article is to describe the main problems with information management for preserving the memory of the Alagoas Book Biennial and to suggest strategies for improvement. As a contribution to practice, it presents a Draft Procedure for Memory Management at the Alagoas Book Biennial, seeking to provide tools for action and a repertoire for the event’s production and execution team.

The present article aims to establish a conceptual articulation between the phenomenon of post-truth and Cognitive Dissonance Theory, created by psychologist Leon Festinger in 1957 and subsequently adopted by the field of communication to understand the process of information selection/exclusion by the public. Festinger pointed out in his empirical study that people tend to seek information to reinforce their own beliefs and pre-existing opinions. The proposal here is to make a theoretical/conceptual approximation as an attempt to identify a theoretical framework in the fields of communication and psychology to analyze post-truth and the consequent context of fake news. We employed the methodology of literature review to map some works already produced on the topics, mainly in the field of communication. In conclusion, we find that Cognitive Dissonance Theory proves to be valid as a theoretical, bibliographical, and conceptual basis for elucidating, at least in part, the phenomenon of post-truth.
