The two-dimensional problem of plane sound wave impulse scattering on the thin elastic circular cylindrical shell cracked along its infinite length. The shell is empty inside and surrounded by water from outside. The Kirchhoff - Love theory for description of elastic shell dynamic equilibrium is used. The shell defect influence on the echo-signal structure is investidated.

A system with infinite quantity of the boundary integral equations which is equivalent to the Dirichlet problem for some triangular system of elliptical equations and its weak formulation has been considered. A recurrent algorithm for solving such systems has been constructed. It involves finding the components of the solution using the boundary elements method step-by-step. The convergence orders for the collocation and the Galerkin methods have been compared.

The nonlinear synthesis problem of a plane equidistant antenna array according to the given requirements to an amplitude directivity pattern is considered. When finding the branching lines of solutions of nonlinear integral equations obtained as a result of solution of the synthesis problem, the two-parameter eigenvalue problems with spectral parameters analytically including in a kernel of the linearized integral operator are arisen. For such problems the numerical algorithms of finding the eigenvalue curves and the bifurcation points are considered. The numerical examples are presented.

A single layer, single feed, multi frequency, compact rectangular micro strip patch antenna is proposed. Resonant frequency has been reduced drastically by cutting unequal rectangular slots at the edge of the patch along with two tiny circular slots created inside the patch to improve return loss. Antenna size has been reduced by 64% with an increased frequency ratio (the ratio of second or higher resonant frequency to the first resonant frequency).

Main time reliability characteristics of composite electromagnetic systems are examined in this paper. Models are worked out for the duration of the system stay in each of it states in the case when the lifetime of ageing output elements is circumscribed by the Weibull distribution.

The scattering problem of acoustic wave by pre-fractal curvilinear rings system is considered. Making use of the integral equation technique, three dimensional mathematical model is reduce to two dimensional one. Application of the mechanical cubature method to the case of the parabolic ring is analyzed.

The results of experimental testing near reactive zone of the different kinds the cellphone antennas are presented. Dielectric coating parameters influence on cellphone antenna near reactive zone pattern is studied. The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is also measured, presented and discussed in this paper. The properties of electrically small antennas as a function their total length, geometry and effective volume are investigated. The radiation properties include resonant frequency; and quality factor Q is considered.

This paper presents results of numerical simulation and algorithm of simultaneous inversion of soil's and immersed object's electromagnetic parameters. Inversion is performed from data of electromagnetic induction (EMI) sensing, when all other geometric parameters of the problem are known. Discrimination procedure of subsurface objects such as landmines and unexploded ordnances (UXO) accomplishes higher accuracy when mentioned parameters are determined a priori. A specially, when interaction effects between object its surrounding media is significant and there is no exact information about materials of UXO produced in different time. Combining Method of Auxiliary Sources (MAS) with Gauss-Newton minimization algorithm, we developed optimization methodology that simultaneously inverts for the EM parameters of both the object and the surrounding medium.
