This research aimed to find out the implementation of Google Classroom (GCR) in Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic for the second year students of SMAN 08 Kota Bengkulu and to find out the Students’ Perspective of Google Classroom (GCR) in Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic at SMAN 08 Kota Bengkulu. There were 30 students who participated in this research gathered by using purposive sampling. The research method applied in this current study was a qualitative method. The data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher applied the theory from Miles and Huberman (1994). The result of the first research question showed that Google Classroom was used frequently by the teacher and students to conduct online learning. The result of the second research question demonstrated that only 48,84% of the students were satisfied with the use of Google Classroom. The students were not satisfied the most with the students’ indicator of satisfaction, which reached 75%. However, 92,7% of them gave positive feedback towards the instruction delivery. Overall, this result suggested that Google Classroom did not received positive feedback from the majority of the students, with some exception of instruction delivery. The researcher recommended the teacher at SMAN 08 Kota Bengkulu to provide more creative way in online teaching, so students have the opportunity to learn more effectively.

This research is aimed at finding out the effect of critical reading strategy on student's reading ability in comprehending expository text of the second grade students of MAN 1 (MODEL) Lubuklinggau in the academic year 2019/2020. This research used quantitative research with quasi experimental design. The total population of students at the second grade was 312 students of MAN 1 (MODEL) Lubuklinggau in the academic year 2019/2020. The research chose two classes as the samples of the research. The sample was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The second grade students of XI MIPA 2 was experimental class who were taught using Critical Reading Strategy and the second grade students of XI MIPA 1 was control class who were taught by the teacher. The data were collected by using test. The data were analyzed by using T-test formula. The mean score in experimental class was 79.90 while the mean score of control class was 72.31. The mean different between them was 7.59. The result of t-test showed that the value of t-count (3.970) was higher than t-table (2.024) in df 38 (0.05). Therefore, the alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted while the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Based on the result above, the research finding was Critical Reading Strategy was effective on students’ reading ability in comprehending expository text for the second grade students of MAN 1 (MODEL) Lubuklinggau in academic year of 2019/2020.

This study aims to determine the differences in cognitive learning outcomes (in the form of pre-test and post-test scores) of students in class X IPS 1 as a control class and class XI MIPA 3 as experimental class at SMA N 5 Bengkulu Tengah, by providing treatment using the Compare -Diagnose-Operate (CDO) strategy. This type of research is Quasi Experiment. The population is tenth grade students of SMA N 5 Bengkulu Tengah with 368 students. From this population, 37 students were taken as samples. Each class is 17 students XI IPS 1 and 20 students XI MIPA 3. Research data were collected through writing tests and documentation. The results showed a significant change in the experimental class with an average value of 71.85 while in the control class an average value of 52.06. The post-test results show that the Compare-Diagnose- Operate (CDO) strategy can improve students' writing skills. Thus, the Compare- Diagnose-Operate (CDO) strategy can be one of effective strategy to increase students‟ writing ability.
