Stem education and the learning of mathematics in vulnerable populations Stem教育与弱势群体的数学学习

Introduction: This article is the product of a project developed by UNIMINUTO in the nineth grade of the Educational Institution Simón Bolivar in “La Nohora” neighbourhood of the Villavicencio - Colombia, this project was executed during 2017 and 2018. Problem: The problem is the low academic performance of students in mathematics, in addition to multiple possible adverse situations they face as a vulnerable population. Objective: The objective is to have a positive impact on the academic performance of the students. Methodology: In the strategy development, STEM education was used to support the learning of math through six sessions were carried out your own classroom. The students solved challenges by programming robots. Results: Complete each challenge had an important attitudinal impact on the students, the joy and satisfaction of them were an unexpected result. A previous knowledge test was carried out at beginning and at the end of the sessions a formative test was applied too. Afterwards, the results of both tests were compared to evidence improvements in the students' mathematical skills. Conclusions: It was possible to provide the target population with an alternative to understand issues mistakenly considered difficult and to propose important playful and didactic moments in cognitive development. Originality: This article shows an educational innovation that the team of researchers will continue to apply. through new projects that allow financing the purchase of equipment and the logistics of the workshops. Limitations: Lack of strategic alliances that allow financing more meetings with students and the acquisition of more robots.

El siguiente artículo es producto de la investigación que describe un modelo de transformación digital en sistemas de gestión de calidad y su aplicabilidad en ámbitos empresariales, tal es el caso de Link Wireless. Para verificar su aplicabilidad se llevó a cabo un estudio con enfoque cualitativo de tipo descriptivo y exploratorio, a partir de lo que se realizó un diagnóstico en donde se estableció el estado inicial del sistema de gestión de calidad conforme lo establece la norma ISO 9001:2015 y la capacidad tecnológica de la compañía para diseñar la mejor estrategia que potenciara sus capacidades de digitalizar sus procesos con el fin de usar al máximo sus herramientas de software y hardware logrando un modelo que puede garantizar la continuidad de la operación del sistema de gestión de calidad con el menor costo posible.

revisión sobre la predicción del rendimiento académico mediante métodos de ensamble 基于汇编方法的学业成绩预测研究综述

Introducción: El presente artículo es producto de la investigación “Métodos de ensamble para estimar el ren-dimiento académico de estudiantes de educación superior”, desarrollado en la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas en el año 2021 y se centra en la revisión de trabajos de investigación desarrollados en los últimos cinco años relacionados a la predicción del rendimiento académico utilizando algoritmos de ensamble.Objetivo: La revisión de la literatura tiene como objetivo identificar los algoritmos más utilizados y las variables más relevantes en la predicción del rendimiento académico.Metodología: Se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura en distintas bases de datos académicas (Science Direct, Scopus, SAGE Journals, EBSCO, ResearchGate, Google Scholar), utilizando ecuaciones de bús-queda construidas con palabras claves.Resultados: Se encontraron 54 artículos relacionados que cumplen con los criterios de inclusión de la revisión. Además, se encontraron beneficios en la aplicación de métodos de ensamble en la predicción del rendimiento académico. Conclusión: Se encontró que las variables más influyentes en el rendimiento académico corresponden al factor académico, el algoritmo utilizado que presenta mejores resultados es Random Forest, además de que fue el más utilizado, y que el uso de estos algoritmos es una herramienta precisa para predecir el rendimiento acadé-mico en cualquier etapa de la vida universitaria, y a su vez brindar la información para generar estrategias que permitan mejorar los indicadores de deserción y retención académica.

Los proyectos de desarrollo tecnológico social como impulsores de micro ecosistemas de innovación local 社会技术发展项目作为地方创新微生态系统的驱动力

En Argentina, en 2013, el Sistema Científico Tecnológico Nacional incorporó un instrumento de reconocimiento de las actividades de desarrollo tecnológico con impacto social, denominado Proyecto de Desarrollo Tecnológico Social (PDTS).El PDTS es la unidad de reconocimiento oficial de la actividad de desarrollo tecnológico con impacto social en Argentina. Un PDTS surge a partir de una demanda de un actor social que visualiza un problema a resolver y solicita la intervención de los investigadores para desarrollar una tecnología que le dé respuesta.El objeto del PDTS, la concurrencia de sus actores y sus relaciones constituyen un espacio de utilización y coproducción de conocimiento donde ese nuevo conocimiento va más allá del objeto de investigación, se hace general y extrapolable a otros objetos y problemáticas. Ese conocimiento coproducido es el que agrega valor e innovación a la solución, la caracteriza, la hace inédita en términos de originalidad local y le da una identidad local. Ese proceso de coproducción de conocimiento genera capacidades en los grupos de investigación y desarrollo, potencia las posibilidades de generación de nuevas soluciones a problemáticas novedosas, y provoca un espiral positivo de interacciones entre la I+D universitaria y la sociedad. Estas interacciones dan lugar a los que en este ensayo se denominan “micro ecosistemas de innovación local”.En este ensayo se consideran las características distintivas de los PDTS y del espacio de coproducción de conocimiento y se analiza en detalle cómo la recurrencia de este tipo de proyectos puede generar “micro ecosistemas de innovación local” que contribuyen a la capacidad de innovación del país, cumpliendo con el rol de instrumento de política científico-tecnológica con que fueron creados. El presente estudio culmina con la presentación, a modo de ejemplo, el caso de un “micro ecosistema de innovación local” en el área temática de la Informática Forense.

Design and implementation of an efficient model for the transformation and use of organic solid urban waste 设计和实施有效的城市有机固体废物转化和利用模式

Introduction: This article is the development of the "Design and implementation of an efficient model for the transformation and use of organic solid waste", in the “El Conjunto Residencial de Ontario in Bogotá. (Colombia)”.  Problem: The accumulation of solid urban waste by the residential community shows an environmental problem that results in health problems, bad odors, the attraction of rodents and a poor physical appearance in the common areas of this complex, caused by the lack of use of this organic waste.  Objective: formulate an efficient model for the transformation and use of organic solid waste in the “Conjunto Residencial Tejar de Ontario”.  Methodology: Characterization by the method of quartering and use of organic waste through the design of a micro composting plant.  Results: Physical properties such as color, odor and texture are recognized as well as chemical parameters such as C / N, pH and humidity, with these tools we obtain a good quality and fertile compost.  Conclusion: The transformation of urban organic solid waste is an effective way of mitigating the environmental impact caused by not using it and simultaneously preventing this waste from reaching landfills.  Originality: This transformation and use design was carried out for the first time in the “Conjunto Residencial Tejar de Ontario”, it also contains management strategies that allow optimizing the composting operation.  Limitations: Find tools that are easily understood by the community to strengthen knowledge of recycling, source separation and composting.

Introduction: Nowadays, diverse manufacturing companies are faced towards the dilemma of whether investing in automation technologies or not, due to the uncertainty when it comes to remuneration in the profitability of the company, on another hand the level of maintenance management at manufacturing companies is insufficient inside the Latin American region.   Methods: For the build-up of this article, literature review was taken into account.   Results: In this bibliographic review the different tools, techniques and processes of automation in processes regarding industrial maintenance are taken discussed, in addition cases of different companies that have implemented automation technologies in their maintenance management are shown, ultimately statistics and data related to the subject in question focusing special attention on Colombian manufacturing companies will be presented, all this in order to give a panoramic vision of the economic impact of automation immersed in industrial maintenance and concurrently take a glance at a horizon of automation in Colombian manufacturing industries.   Conclusions: Although investments in automation technologies have generated profits for companies, these are often high, in addition to costs related to training company staff to properly carry out these processes. It is therefore suggested that companies that desire to start integrating automation technologies into maintenance processes should do so progressively so as not to generate frustrations in relation to the investment.

This article presents some of the most relevant aspects related to the technological development of Colombian agriculture and of projects that have been carried out in the country in the field of precision agriculture. It also addresses the context of the progress of agriculture 4.0 at the national level and presents possible IoT integration tools and architectures applicable in this field. Finally, the benefits and implications of the development of agriculture 4.0 in the country are highlighted, concluding that its consolidation is necessary to strengthen national agriculture development.

Introduction: This article is the product of the research Design of the logistics operation of food distribution in different locations south of Bogotá based on a multistage model, carried out during 2014 in the city of Bogotá.Problem: Bogota City has a big problem in its food supply framed by the inefficiency in the capillary distribution, raising costs to households, which generates difficulties in accessing food mainly to strata 1 and 2.Objective: Define a strategy for the planning of the efficient supply operation of fruits and vegetables to the south of the city.Method: An analysis of the behavior of the system proposed by the the Master Plan for Supply and Food Security of Bogotá was carried out, using a correlational descriptive method for the analysis of the variables, from the characterization of food in 4 locations, and other secondary sources.Results: In the first phase of this model, it was determined the allocations of the load to be distributed from three (3) logistic platforms towards 4 localities based on mixed integer mathematical programming. In the second phase, a basic VRP model was developed that allowed to determine the routing of vehicles with the remaining fruit and vegetables loads to be delivered.Conclusions: The work is relevant as a contribution to the optimal management of food supply through the use of mathematical models, given that it covers fixed costs both for deposits and for the use of vehicles, with a two-phase model. This can contribute to food security through greater access to food with reduced prices and timely availability in the target areas of study.Originality: Staged models that complement each other to define the complete food supply operation.Limitations: The models must be used with a minimum of knowledge on the subject.

Fault diagnosis in mobile computing using TwinSVM 基于TwinSVM的移动计算故障诊断

Introduction: Mobile computing systems (MCS) comes up with the challenge of low communication bandwidth and energy due to the mobile nature of the network. These features sometimes may come up with the undesirable behaviour of the system that eventually affects the efficiency of the system. Problem: Fault tolerance in MCS will increase the efficiency of the system even in the presence of faults. Objective: The main objective of this work is the development of the Monitoring Framework and Fault Detection and Classification. Methodology: For the Node Monitoring and for the detection and classification of faults in the system a neighbourhood comparison-based technique has been proposed. The proposed framework uses Twin Support Vector Machine (TWSVM) algorithm has been applied to build classifier for fault classification in the mobile network. Results: The proposed system has been compared with the existing techniques and has been evaluated towards calculating the detection accuracy, latency, energy consumption, packet delivery ratio, false classification rate and false positive rate. Conclusion: The proposed framework performs better in terms of all the selected parameters.

sistema ERP para las pyme en América Latina 拉丁美洲中小企业ERP系统

Este es un artículo de revisión de literatura, donde se consultaron las siguientes bases de datos: Google Scholar, EBSCO, IEEE Explore y ScienceDirect, obteniéndose un total de 100 coincidencias de búsqueda, con el objetivo de determinar la factibilidad que involucra la implementación de un sistema ERP en PYMES. De estos artículos encontrados se realizó un filtro teniendo en cuenta una serie de criterios, quedando un total de 61 artículos, de los cuales a los que abordaban algún tipo de sistemas ERP, se le analizaron factores como: costos, tiempo de implantación, flexibilidad y adaptabilidad. Con base a los resultados encontrados se pudo determinar teniendo presente también puntos de vista de varios autores, que el sistema tecnológico que más le conviene a las PYMES en América Latina, es el sistema Open ERP ODOO que sea gestionado por la nube, ya que permite ahorrar dinero, tiempo en la implementación y se puede ajustar a las necesidades de la empresa.
