Introduction: The article is the product of the research “Connections on Semi-Riemannian Geometry and Christoffel Coefficients – Towards the study of the computational calculation of geodesics”, developed at the Pascual Bravo University Institution in the year 2021. Problem: Based on solutions of the Euler-Lagrange equations, the explicit calculation of geodesics on certain manifolds is possible. However, there are several cases in which it is impossible to continue calculating analytically and we have to resort to a numerical calculation. In this sense, several geometric and dynamic characteristics of geodesics, unexpectedly emerge. Objective: The objective of the research is to calculate geodesics of a Riemannian or semi-Riemannian manifold using SageMath as software to more easily go beyond what intuition provides. Methodology: First, some simple examples of characterizations of geodesics on certain manifolds, based on solutions of the Euler-Lagrange equations, are presented. Then, an ellipsoid is selected as a test subject with which to numerically calculate geodesics, observing how it changes depending on whether it is defined within a Spherical, Triaxial or Mercator coordinate system. Results: With the flexibility of software like SageMath, an explicit expression of the differential equations was made possible along with, from numeric solutions for these equations, their corresponding simulations depending on the selected parameters. Conclusion: These simulations confirm that great circles are not the only geodesics existing on the ellipsoid, but rather there are many other types of geodesic curves, some of which can be dense curves on the surface and others can be closed curves. At the same time, this shows a relationship between the existence of certain types of geodesic curves and the parameterization of the surface.

Social media usage has been increased and it consists of both positive and negative effects. By considering the misusage of social media platforms by various cyberbullying methods like stalking, harassment there should be preventive methods to control these and to avoid mental stress. These extra words will expand the size of the vocabulary and influence the performance of the algorithm. Therefore, we come up with variant deep learning models like LSTM, BI-LSTM, RNN, BI-RNN, GRU, BI-GRU to detect cyberbullying in social media. These models are applied on Twitter, public comments data and performance were observed for these models and obtained improved accuracy of 90.4%.

Cyberbullying is a big challenging task in the social media era. The forms of bullying are increasing with the increase of digital technologies. In the past, most of the bullying happened through text messages. Now bullies take advantage of technology, they try bullying others in different forms such as images, videos, and emojis. In this paper, we proposed an approach to identify cyberbullying on both text and image data combinations. We used RoBERTa and Xception deep learning architectures to generate word embeddings from the text data and the image respectively. LightGBM classifier is used to classify bullying and non-bullying tweets. The experiments conducted on 2100 samples of combined data of text and image. The proposed approach efficiently classifies bullying data with F1-score of 80% and outperforms as compared to existing approaches.

Introduction: This paper is the result of the research “Optimal LQG controller to open rudder supplying water to turbine of small and medium hydro power plants” developed in the Electric Power University in Vietnam in 2019. Problem: To maintain the frequency of the emitted voltage of the generator at the nominal value of 50 Hz, the authors present a solution to apply the optimal control theory to create a command to control the rudder angle to adjust the water flow into the turbine. Objective: The article presented about the order value formation algorithm, to stabilize the frequency of transmission voltage at 50 Hz standard value. Methodology: In this paper, the laws to control the rudder supplying water to turbine of small and medium hydro power plants are synthesized by optimal control theory. To establish optimal control rules, the paper proposes using the Kalman filter to estimate the state of the object. By that, the frequency of generated voltage will be stabilized under changing load. The efficacy of the steady and dynamic performance of the control strategy was verified using Matlab/Simulink software. Results: The proposed system can compensate for power fluctuations and is effective in terms of power regulation. Conclusion: The algorithm presented in the paper is the basis for setting up the software when when designing and manufacturing the turbine - generator combination. Applying this algorithm, the process of adjusting the transmitted power according to the required load will be performed with quality. Originality: This paper’s contribution lies in its employment of an effective optimal LQG control for varying operating conditions. Limitations: The authors need to spend more time to the development and and test this algorithm and and implementing it in practice.

Introduction: This article is the result of a research process whose product was to generate a guide for Higher Education Institutions (in Spanish, IES) to adopt a Cybersecurity Model based on ISO standards (International Organization for Standardization). Problem: IES do not have a cybersecurity model aligned to the ISO / IEC 27032: 2012 standard (International Organization for Standardization / International Electrotechnical Commission), which causes a lack of clarity and uncertainty in the level of maturity and low efficiency in processes and information security controls to be implemented. Objective: Propose a dynamic model of cybersecurity based on ISO standards for IES. Methodology: The development of this work was oriented under a line of applied research, by virtue of the fact that it was necessary to address the problem based on previous knowledge that allowed supporting the theoretical contributions and the activities proposed to determine the possible causes of the problem and give it a possible solution. Results: The generation of this dynamic model allows it to be adapted to the different needs and requirements of IES. Conclusion: IES can implement a cybersecurity model to prevent and protect information at the cyberspace level. Originality: The work carried out generates a great contribution, which is the generation of a dynamic cybersecurity model, since at present there are no specific models for IES. Limitations: The model implementation guide is established in a general way to be applied later to an organization in any sector. Keywords: Dynamic Cybersecurity Model, Higher Education Institutions, ISO/IEC 27032: 2012, Security Standards.

Introduction This article is the product of the research "Variation of the mechanical properties of a soil at different moisture contents", developed in the city of Arequipa and carried out during the year 2016. Methodology: To characterize the mechanical properties of a soil according to its saturation state, carrying out 04 unidimensional consolidation tests at different saturation percentages of 0.00%, 65.71%, 80.56% and 100% and 04 direct cutting tests at different saturation percentages of 0.00%, 20%, 40% and 100%. For these tests, unaltered clay samples were extracted. Results: The results obtained from the mechanical characterization at different degrees of saturation influence the resistance to settlement and shear of the soil. Taking into account that, when comparing both resistances of the soil under study, the resistance to deformation decreased more than the resistance to shear. Conclusions: Taking into consideration that, when comparing the geotechnical parameters of the soils at each degree of saturation vary considerably, it is important to perform mechanical tests to the soil taking into account the natural moisture and not to test them in their critical or saturated state because their mechanical properties will be different, and this will directly affect the design of the foundations of the structure and therefore in the final cost of it.

Introduction: The present article is the product of the research whose code CS20.04, carried out during 2020. This work was supported by the Institute of Information Technology (IOIT), Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST). Problem: Animal monitoring is a significant problem in the agricultural sector. The primary purpose is to monitor the health of animals regularly. Consequently, animal welfare and product quality could be improved, leading to an improvement in profit. Cow behavior recognition system was considered as the right solution for cow monitoring. The requirements for this kind of system are economical, high performance, and real-time. Objective: The research objective is to design a real-time cow monitoring system based on wireless sensor networks and the K-means clustering algorithm. Methodology: A wireless sensor node was designed to measure the collar-mounted acceleration data using an accelerometer. Firstly, the collected data were classified into three classes based on the VeDBA (Vector of Dynamic Body Acceleration) feature using the K-means algorithm. Then, the thresholds for VeDBA in the previous step were used to classify new data. Results: Three behaviors (including feeding, lying, and standing) were classified in real-time with the accuracy of classification about 89%. Conclusion: The proposed system could be adapted in monitoring cow in real-time, the behavior classification could be implemented on the microcontroller. The results confirmed the reliability of the proposed system. Originality: The behavior classification could be implemented on the microcontroller for the first time in monitoring cow. Limitations: Only three behaviors were classified in the experiment.
