Introduction: A variety of innovative solutions known as Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) technologies have been developed for the management of animal production industries, including Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) for poultry farming. Problem: Current WSN-based systems for poultry farming lack the design of robust but flexible software architectures that ensure the integrity and proper delivery of data. Objective: Designing a microservice-based software architecture (MSA) for a multiplatform remote environmental management system based on Wireless Mesh Sensor Networks (WMSN) to be deployed in pastured poultry farming spaces. Methodology: A review about MSAs designed for animal farming was conducted, to synthesize key factors considered for the design process of the system data flow, microservice definition and the environmental monitoring system technology selection. Results: A cloud MSA with a multi layered scheme using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform was developed, validating the persistence of environmental data transmitted from WMSN prototype nodes to be deployed in mobile chicken coops. Conclusion: Defining an End-to-End data flow facilitates the organization of tasks by domains, allowing efficient event communication between components and network reliability both at the hardware and software levels. Originality: This study presents a novel design for a remote environmental monitoring system based on WMSN for mobile coops used in pastured poultry and a multi layered MSA cloud management platform for this specific type of food production industry. Limitations: Software architecture technology selection was based only on services offered, to the date of the study, in the free tier of the Amazon Web Service platform.

Introduction: This article is the result of the augmented reality project "AR position U" for the effective visualization of information of interest dynamically through augmented reality, carried out in the year 2022 in the city of Popayan, capital of the department of Cauca. Problem: Problems have been identified regarding the location of spaces in very large places by people who have no knowledge of the site you need to locate causing loss of time, frustration to the point of being late to the desired location. This leads to the following problem question: What would be the impact of the implementation of an augmented reality application, whose purpose is to provide detailed information to people in a non-intrusive way in large environments? Objective: To propose a mobile information system that allows users to orient themselves and obtain detailed information in a dynamic and non-intrusive way in large environments through augmented reality. Methodology: The experimental methodology is used, since a series of tests were determined to reach the validation of the information system in order to have a product that was articulated with the guide of good practices of project management and meet the needs of the population to which it could be directed. Results: As a result, the information system based on augmented reality was obtained, allowing the easy location of spaces due to the usability of the product. Conclusion: Based on the experimental methodology it is determined that, although augmented reality improves the detailed descriptions of large environments, it is very limited to the external conditions, however, the tool meets the proposed objectives. Originality: Augmented reality information system for orientation in large places and obtaining information in a non-intrusive way, under the PMBOK and XP methodology. Limitations: Due to complexity and time constraints, it is not possible to cover all faculties. On the other hand, 3D interface is only generated by QR tags. On the other hand, the correct functioning of the system can be affected by lighting factors, the distance of the user from the tag, the hardware and software capacity of the smartphone and the internet connection.

Introduction: This paper is the product of the investigation “Identification of relevant variables in the development of photovoltaic solar projects in Colombia” developed at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas (UDFJC) between 2020 and 2021. Due to the increase in the number of photovoltaic energy projects in Colombia, it is necessary to quantify the level of relevance related with the factors involved in order to optimize the planning and execution processes. Methods: In this research, the Delphi methodology is applied to evaluate a set of variables selected from literature, putting them to an evaluation by a group of experts with the purpose of quantifying the relationship, under a subjective judgment, between those variables and parameters immersed in low power photovoltaic solar projects in Colombia. Together with the Delphi method, the Torgerson Model was used to quantify what experts said, in order to determine which variables are the most relevant ones to the experts. Subsequently, the validation of these answers is carried out with the application of a second evaluative stage throughout the application of structured instruments.

Introduction: Since the beginning of the last decade, the number and scope of studies on the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution have intensified, particularly in Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Robotics, and other related disciplines regarding the future of work. These studies discuss relevant changes in the employment and entrepreneurship ecosystem with significant socioeconomic and cultural implications. As a result of the global pandemic of COVID-19, it is essential to review the transformations that will further affect that ecosystem. Objective: This article aims to identify the implications of the confluence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, COVID-19, and Climate Change in terms of the challenges and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs during this remarkable global metamorphosis. Methodology: In our exploration, we use a complexity science perspective to offer a framework for the management of Solidarity Entrepreneurship. Results: We developed a framework to identify the elements that, under the new global context, must be considered to provide alternative perspectives of entrepreneurship oriented to preventing or mitigating the effects caused by the confluence described above. Conclusions: Our proposal recommends an entrepreneur’s skill set that considers the ethical, moral, regulatory, and other innovation and cognitive concerns to optimize entrepreneurial ventures focused on the requirements of the pressing global scenario in progress.

Introduction: This article is the result of research entitled "Development of a prototype to optimize access conditions to the SENA-Pescadero using artificial intelligence and open-source tools", developed at the Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje in 2020. Problem: How to identify Machine Learning Techniques applied to computer vision processes through a literature review? Objective: Determine the application, as well as advantages and disadvantages of machine learning techniques focused on the detection and identification of people. Methodology: Systematic literature review in 4 high-impact bibliographic and scientific databases, using search filters and information selection criteria. Results: Machine Learning techniques defined as Principal Component Analysis, Weak Label Regularized Local Coordinate Coding, Support Vector Machines, Haar Cascade Classifiers and EigenFaces and FisherFaces, as well as their applicability in detection and identification processes. Conclusion: The research led to the identification of the main computational intelligence techniques based on machine learning, applied to the detection and identification of people. Their influence was shown in several application cases, but most of them were focused on the implementation and optimization of access control systems, or tasks in which the identification of people was required for the execution of processes. Originality: Through this research, we studied and defined the main machine learning techniques currently used for the detection and identification of people. Limitations: The systematic review is limited to information available in the 4 databases consulted, and the amount of information is variable as articles are deposited in the databases.

Results: After obtaining the general consensus, the results are analyzed with the ideal of identifying the variables that obtained a higher level of relevance, in which six relevant variables were identified. Conclusions: This paper shows how the results of research processes get the most relevant variables, being 6 variables in total, and their impact is analyzed. Originality: Applying the Delphi method, it is possible to find the most relevant variables in the development of low power photovoltaic solar projects in Colombia, making this paper an important element in the advancement of renewable energies. Limitation: A massive sample of results was not achieved due to the difficulty in contacting the appropriate professionals in the area analyzed.
