Understanding morphodynamic processes, from the perspective of traditional/local communities, is important in the implementation of actions regarding the use and management of the environment. The objective was to verify which forms of relief are perceived by the population and how these knowledge is used to identify and classify them. The research was developed in the municipality of Santo Antônio dos Milagres, state of Piauí, voluntarily participating 34 individuals. The collected data were analyzed quali-quantitatively, with the aid of geoprocessing techniques. Four ethno-environments were identified: Baixão and Baixa, Morro or Costaneira and Chapada or Terra Plana. These units correspond, respectively, to the Lacustrine Plain, Lowered Plateaus and Tableland. It is understood that ethnogeomorphological cartography is an important vehicle of communication between popular and scientific knowledge.

In recent years, one of the most important goals of urban managers has been the planning for resilience to natural disasters, especially earthquakes. Babol, as the second most populous city of Mazandaran province in northern Iran, is exposed to earthquakes due to its proximity to two active faults, the Caspian Sea and northern Alborz. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effective physical indicators in the resilience rate of 22 neighborhoods of Babol. The research method is descriptive-analytical and applied-developmental. Accordingly, 48 effective indicators in the physical dimension were extracted and evaluated for their suitability through KMO test in consultation with experts and professors in urban planning, crisis management and earthquake. Then, the selected indices were reduced to four factors by factor analysis, which accounted for 61.9% of the variance. Among the four factors, the first factor alone accounted for 24.8% of the variance, which SHOJAEE, M. et al. Also, about 18.2% of the neighborhoods are in the medium level and about 40.2% of the neighborhoods are evaluated as good, very good, excellent and very excellent levels in terms of physical resilience.

Siah Kooh area is northeast of Shahroud city and is located in eastern Alborz. The lithologic composition of the volcanic rocks in the area consists of andesite, basalt, trachyandesite and quartztrachite. Plagioclase, olivine, and augite phenocrysts as the main minerals and apatite and magnetite, sericite, chlorite and apacite minerals are sub-minerals of volcanic rocks that are located in the glass slabs. Quartz is also found in fine-grained rock pulp and sometimes in phenocrysts. The dominant texture in these rocks are porphyritic, amygdaloidal and microlithic. According to geochemical studies of basaltic magmatic volcanic rocks, calc-alkaline potassium is high and negative Nb anomaly, Ce / Pb ratio and enrichment of rocks of light rare earth elements (LRRE) and high LREE / HREE ratio indicate contamination. The crust is an indicator of the presence of the garnet phase in the mantle source. On the other hand, the similarity of their trace elements to Oceanic Basalts (OIB) is a clear evidence of their relevance to this environment. Early basaltic magma originated from a mantle with a garnetlherzolite composition with a partial melting rate of 15–12%. FeOtotal values in basalts and other structural evidence indicate the formation of these rocks in the early stages of intra-continental rifting which can be attributed to the pressure drop caused by intra-continental tidal phases associated with deep faults during the orogenic phases. Alpine attributed to Eocene time.

Erosion, sediment transport, sedimentation and water quality are very important issues in watershed management. Based on the initial study, it was found that the three factors of geological materials, slope, and climate are the most important factors in erosion. Therefore, these three factors were examined and combined to create work units. Then, the qualitative sensitivity of the rocks and pre-Quaternary formations was continually determined using the criteria of resistance method and hardness of the rock mass in a field method. Then, several statistical regression models were investigated by discharge classification and temporal separation of data; and by establishing a regression relation between flow discharge and sediment MIRAKHORLO, G. et al. This paper aims to discuss issues that involve classroom practices in an interdisciplinary perspective. This part from the literary work "The Continent I" written by Erico Verissimo alongside geographical concepts of space, territory, place and territorial identity. It intends to consider the articulation between Literature and Geography as contribution to the construction of knowledge and to the formation of students. Regarding Geography, it is remarkable that this practice contributes to geographic education since it allows the concepts to be developed in a non-fragmented way. Regarding Literature, the contribution is through the relation between fiction and the world of life. Concluding, it is understood that both disciplines worked together allow the student to establish relationships, reflections and understandings about the

The present work approaches the use and occupation of land in the city of Manaus AM, thus, orbital images were used that show the evolution of the event. The term (use and occupation) can be understood as the way in which space is being occupied by man, which has occurred since the beginning of human life. Man is a transforming agent and modifier of space, through the use of elements of nature, which serve for its survival. In Manaus, the anthropic actions and changes in the landscape stood out from two moments: Rubber Cycle and Manaus Free Trade Zone. Although these events occurred in different times, they contributed to population growth and brought changes in the way of use and the way of occupying urban land.

O racismo é um fenômeno que estrutura a vida da população negra. À medida que se materializa no espaço geográfico, ele segrega os(as) negros(as) e restringe suas espacialidades. A escola se evidencia como uma instituição que possui grandes contribuições na luta pela superação do racismo, assim como o ensino de Geografia que pode proporcionar uma educação que contemple de forma positiva o povo negro. Nesse sentido, a pesquisa objetiva sugerir proposições pedagógicas que oferecem caminhos de como a questão racial pode ser discutida nas aulas de Geografia. As proposições foram elaboradas com base nas Diretrizes Curriculares da Educação (DCE) Básica do Paraná e no modelo didático proposto por Gasparin (2011). Espera-se fomentar o debate das questões raciais no ensino de Geografia e contribuir para um ensino de Geografia que incorpore a Lei 10.639/03 em seu currículo.

À medida que se materializa no espaço geográfico, ele segrega os(as) negros(as) e restringe suas espacialidades. A escola se evidencia como uma instituição que possui grandes contribuições na luta pela superação do racismo, assim como o ensino de Geografia que pode proporcionar uma educação que contemple de forma positiva o povo negro. Nesse sentido, a pesquisa objetiva sugerir proposições pedagógicas que oferecem caminhos de como a questão racial pode ser discutida nas aulas de Geografia. As proposições foram elaboradas com base nas Diretrizes Curriculares da Educação (DCE) Básica do Paraná e no modelo didático proposto por Gasparin (2011). The finality of this paper is to investigate the relation between capoeira and citizenship amplification, trough of reports from Teachers and Mestres. Was realized a qualitative research as methodological practice. Therefore, was used a semi structured interview, where the interviewer prepares a script and leading of bruising form to understanding all relevant aspects that involve the daily capoeira in Victoria City. The base of the investigation starting from Mestres reports of each group studied. We understand there are many particulars in each groups of capoeira, its history, its trajectory, such as the history of the personage of the group configured in Mestres's impersonate. There is a common characteristic in all investigated groups, everyone use public places, in other words, collective places to realize their activities. The Capoeira practiced in Victoria, comes up as a cultural alternative manifestation, that brings meaning and take up public places. Throughout of the research, OLIVEIRA, E. R.; FREIRE, A. L. O. The study aimed to perform geoenvironmental characterization, particularly morphometric, of the Itaueira River Basin, state of Piauí, from geometric variables, drainage network and relief, as a possibility to know the environmental dynamics of the basin. For this purpose it used the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) to calculate the morphometric parameters related to the geometric characteristics, drainage network and relief. Thus, the study indicated that the basin area studied is 10122.4 km2 and a perimeter of 757.03 km2. In turn, the basin has an elongated profile and low predisposition to abrupt flooding, as its compactness coefficient is 2.1068, form factor 0.12 and circularity index of 0.222.
